  • Graphical editor not working

    Hi,
SAP Graphical editor not working.  I am getting the following error.
    EU_SCRP_WN32 : timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV'
Last week its sucessfully working but suddenly happen this issue... This problem in development server only. In production server is sucessfully working.
    Please advise...
    Regards
    Rajesh.

    Hi Rajesh,
It looks to be RFC connection issue.
Refer to various solutions described in below SAP note
101971 - 37527 Graphical full screen is not available (RFC)
    Alternative
    Workaround
You can prevent the termination of the RFC connection by increasing the value of the timeout parameter for the relevant RFC destination. Call transaction SM59, choose the TCP/IP connection "EU_SCRP_WN32" and branch to the "Special Options" tab page. In the section "Keep-Alive-Timeout" select the option "Specify Timeout" and enter a longer wait time (for example, 300 seconds). Undo this change once you use the corrected program version.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to develop a rich text editor using Web-Dynpro?

    Hello Everyone,
    I am new hire,
today I got a task from leader to develop a rich text editor using Web-Dynpro,
Because I just finished the BC400 and NET310 training and lack of expericen in ABAP,
Can anyone tell me the main idea to accomplish the task?
    Thank you very much.

Have you looked at the standard UI Element
[FormattedTextEdit|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/44/2772f505605447e10000000a422035/frameset.htm] it's not perfect, but it does allow some simple formatting.
Anything beyond this - you're going to need to use an Island.

  • EP6.0.2 Create new workflow template with graphical editor

    Hi!
In the EP6 Content (Administration -> Workflow Content -> Workflow Templates) you can find an iview to generate templates for ad-hoc (java-) workflows.
After installation the button "Create New Template" is disabled.
How can I configure the EP to create new template with graphical editor? Or should I wait till SP4 is rleased?
    Regards,
    Henric

    Hi Henric,
We have had to develop our own way of creating templates.   This area seems to be very underdeveloped at the moment.

  • Graphical editor PC, conversion problem

    Hi!
    I have the following problem.
I want to create a text in the header of the document, for example invoice.
I do it in the Graphical editor PC, which looks like a WORD (i double click my text and open in this way the editor).
When I save and go back from the editor some special signs are converted badly.
I tried to debug the code. Action 'Save' fill firstly iternal table with RTF data and then convert it to ITF table
    (FM compose_itf).
Where is the bug? Maybe the RTF data is wrong or what is more probable there is some error in conversion?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Best regards
    Peter

    Hi Karthik,
These signs that cause problems are for example:
'ê' (which is converted to 'ę'),
'à' (which is converted to 'ŕ'),
'ã' (which is converted to 'ă'),
'õ' (which is converted to 'ő').
    Data form System -> Status:
    Component version: BBPCRM 4.0
    Kernel release is: 640.
This is an unicode system, with code page 4103.
Is the casued by too old version? And can't be fixed?
    Regards

  • Graphical editor

    Hi,
I'm trying to make a graphical DTD editor. Right now I have a little problem with moveable objects and arrows. Perhaps someone can help me with this?
I'll try to describe my problem as good as I can. First, there should be some objects like squares or circles (moveable one). Second, every object have a different meaning (like square is some kind a node or value). So we have couple of squares and circles, we're connecting them with our arrows and we suppose to have a nice DTD document. Yes, I know ... Right now I need some information how to put one object on it place (when we click on the square it stops to move and we can play with another one). Please forgive me my English but I'm not an native speaker.
    Cheers.

--- THE END OF MY STUFF ---

    Hi nordvik_
I developed a component that does exactly what you are talking about. Would you be interested in buying a copy?
This is not a simple project, but if you're determined to build it yourself, here's a few hints
    1. How are you going to represent your nodes? Will they be components? The advantage of this is that with Components its easy to set size, implement painting. The disadvantage is that it's difficult to draw lines between components, and they will likely absorb mouse events that are outside of the shape's area (unless all your shapes are rectangles)
    2. How are you going to move + resize the components? If you search google for draggable.java/resizeable.java tjacobs01 you'll find some classes that I've previously posted that drag / resize components. This may or may not be helpful
    3. How are you going to internally represent the connection lines? how are you going to draw them? How are you going to figure out start and end points?
If you're potentially interested in buying a copy of my source code, plz post your email address and I will contact you

  • Need help with (Runescape Classic Graphiced) online game

I am wondering if someone could link the program Jagex used to make Runescape Classic. Or if you have to, a land generator and character, graphics, object program. If you could also explain how to work it into HTML. That would be good too. I want to put this game (will be massively Multiplayer) on my website. Please help soon.
P.S. Explain how to make it multiplayer.

I am wondering if someone could link the program Jagex used to make Runescape Classic.Jagex tends to use proprietary in-house tools, so the odds are that the modeller used to make RS Classic isn't available on the web. To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that the Gowers hand-coded the early models in a hex editor.
If you're looking for 3D modelling tools which are used by games developers, you could do worse than Blender or Milkshape3D. However, given that you don't seem to know what an applet is or how to do networking, I think you're biting off more than you can fit in your mouth, let alone chew. Start with learning the basics and think about doing a MMORPG in a year or two.

  • Help! Colour banding graphics problem /posterization?

    Hi.
I've been having a few problems lately with colour banding/gradients/posterization. I first noticed it 3 or 3 days ago in photoshop, and seem to have noticed it's mostly system wide. I ask her because you're all clever and I don't have a clue what to do next! So please help me!
Quoted from my thread somewhere else that I've had no luck with and was recomendded to try here...
Since yesterday whenever I'm using Photoshop and there is blurred edges/gradients etc, basically not solid colours, there is really noticeable sharp colour banding lines around it.
It's happened before and I've accidentally had it on 8-bit instead of 16-bit, but I've checked all that and it's on 16-bit.
I've googled it and the only suggestion was about duplicating the layer and blurring it then adding noise, but that didn't even work.
[EDIT] SINCE THEN I HAVE REALISED IT IS AFFECTING SYSTEM WIDE GRADIENTS AND COLOURS
My system is set to Highest 32-bit too. I changed it to 16-bit to see what happened and it made the banding 10 times worse.
    An example of the problem
Posted: Thu May 03, 2012 7:32 pm    Post subject:
It's supposed to be a smooth gradient. I didn't use the gradient tool, I used the brush tool with solid white and then smudged and blurred it like I always do.
That's a good point, and actually I did start it as an 8-bit originally (my photoshop has been starting as 8-bit, grayscale for a few weeks now and I don't know why) but then after I remembered and changed it to 16-bit, and noticed the banding, I closed that document and started a new one and changed it to 16-bit RGB when the pop-up for a new document came up.
The resolution is always 72pixels/inch, and the size 256x512, colour mode RGB.
In advanced it says colour profile Working RGB: sRGB IEC61966-2.1 which I have no clue what means, and I never usually click advanced so I don't know if that is usually that or different.
When I use the brush tool and blur and smudge it it's fine, with no banding. It's only when I lower the opacity of that layer, or use Hue/Saturation and Lightness to darken it so it's hardly visible that the banding appears.
I've just tried it again with a fresh new document and it's still the same. Even in 32-bit it's exactly the same.
It's done it before, and all I did was close and reopen Photoshop and it was all fine again, but this time it happened last night and since then I have restarted my computer, had it turned off for hours, and I've even tried it on gimp and it's the same.
Ruled out that it's my monitor, tried a different one that I know works perfectly and it's still the same.
I've double checked all drivers, and monitor profiles, and drivers for my monitor, and colour profiles, and colour management, my graphics card settings, device manager for problems with any hardware, and everythings coming back fine. Could it be that my graphics card is old and just needs replacing? I'm not good with which one to buy so would getting a new one the same be of any help? The computer is about 6 years old, and the only thing changed on it is the RAM and hard drive.
I don't really want to end up not using this computer anymore if it's a simple graphics card issue, I just don't know how to tell if it is.
The thread that is from is here if you want to see some suggestions I've already had.http://www.imvu.com/catalog/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpbb2&file=viewtopic.php&t=423942 &postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
My username is 'Ao'  on there so that is me explaining the problem.
    To add to that...
Here is another example of what is happening.
I'm thinking from all the answers I got from google its a graphics card problem. Only problem is all the updates are installed, and I can't find anywhere that sells my graphics card to buy a new one. So I need to know which graphics card will work with my system right now?
I've done some tests so you can see my system details. Im clueless with which one to buy so please help.

Thank you for the reply, you seem to know what you're on about.
When I go to color managment in the first tab, devices, where it says profiles associated with this device it is empty, and 'use my settings for this device' is unticked. It says device at the top and mine says 'Display: Generic Pnp Monitor - Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family'.
I did try to set up my monitor and had the .icc file for it in that list that pops up when I tick use my settings and click add, and I think I did set the profile to be the one for my monitor. I can't remember exactly how I did it and where I get that .icc file from, I've been through so many settings and websites trying to fix this.
It's not like I've recently changed any hardware or anything or my monitor, I was on photoshop one minute and it worked fine, then the next it just didn't. It's so strange because all I was doing at the time was using photoshop and I don't understand how it can go from working fine to all these problems with graphics and the banding. It's so confusing.
I can noticeably see banding on that image. It is still a gradient and smooth to a degree, but there is obvious lines of colour differences, and a harsher line on the outside.
Is that smooth for you? For me there is very obvious banding, especially at the top on the white on black.
I just don't know what else to do. I've tried everything I can think of, and spent hours upon hours on google. I've even tried a system restore to put it back to how it was when it was working perfectly, but it's still the same. I tried it on another monitor, just plug and play, and it was the same. Is there an easy way to install a monitor properly so that it should in theory work perfect? Because you're talking about the monitor profile, but with the second one I tried to test it all I did was plug it in and it was still the same. I've even tried it on my tv, and as I remember I think it was less noticeable, but then again that might be because of my tv settings because my tv is quite dark.
Just clueless as to what else to do now. I don't want to go out and buy a new computer for £100's over this, as I don't really have the funds to do so but I need a computer so the only option would be to sell my new iphone that I only got last week! Which I obviously don't want to do. That's how desperate I am to fix this though.

  • Need help with power supply & graphics card upgrades

I have a HP Pavilion p6320y that I bought 8 months ago. AMD Phenom II x4820 Quad Core processor.   I play WoW and since the last big patch, have been suffering with low fps. I updated drivers and followed all the advice given to me by Blizz and finally figured out that my Nvidia GeForce 9100 (integrated graphics) isn't good enough anymore.
I checked my computer and discovered that I have a 300w power supply (12V) and read on another post here that something stronger than 300w is needed to run a decent graphics card.
    Now for my questions:
How much of a power supply can I upgrade to without hurting my computer, but will be enough to run a good card?
What would be a good graphics card for this computer?
I've been looking at the Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express graphics card and wonder if that will work on my computer.  Most of the nicer cards seem to be the PCI Express and I'm not sure if that will work.
Any advice will be most helpful. I have some experience with the inner workings of my PC and would like to fix this myself instead of running to the closest computer shop and paying someone else to. Thanks!

Well, you are starting out from a fairly low baseline with the integrated graphics. It will not cost much to have a substantial increase if all you want to do is run WoW without error messages. Yes, the 300w power supply is an issue and rules out any card that will require its own power (i.e. needs its own power cord like a hard drive) but there are several mid-grade cards that can run off bus power alone (i.e. just from the pci-e slot itself). Just taking a quick look at newegg.com I see the following:
    GeForce 9400 under $50
    Radeon HD 4650 under $50
    GeForce 9500GT a little over $50
Any of these should get you where you want to be and not require a PS upgrade. The slot you have available is a PCI Express x16 slot so don't look at AGP cards; they will not work. If you want to install the card you mention you need to get a better PSU.
