Help for on mapping - Std function or UDF?

Hi All,
I am working on DELVRY03 Idoc (outbound) n doing mapping betweeb Idoc and legacy structure. In delivery line item we have lineitem quantity field E1EDL24-LFIMG. Let say if we have 3 line items with LFIMG values 5,10,15...we need add up all these and send to target total quantity field. Is there any std function or sample code for writign UDF???

Hi,
use sum function (from standard functions)
but before using it use removecontext function (from node functions)
as it sums all values from one context only
so if you remove it will work as you need

Please help for User defined extension functions

the tutorial given for extension functions doesn't work as well as our new functions
even though i follow all the given steps and see the functions in my user defined extension functions tab in xslt map.
all the target nodes that use the extension function disappear in the resulted target xml.
please help.

have you compiled your java file and uploaded the jar file(containg the .class file and the Manifest.MF file) in the <OC4J_HOME>\j2ee\home\applib directory and then restarted the server??

Help for message mapping

Hi, I have an IDOC -> PI -> File simple scenario but I donu2019t know how to solve the following problem. I have to built my file header line with data from IDOC segments. That data comes from the same segment but different u201Cinstancesu201D and there is a field to identify the instances, something like that:
Source IDOC
     Segment1 with parameter = 001
     Segment1 with parameter = 002
Target FILE header line:
[segment1.001-field1];[segment1.002-field1]
The mapping checks the parameter value but generates an error because the 2nd field of the file is obligatory and when the mapping founds the 1st segment then it canu2019t continue searching the segment with parameter = 002 and complete the file line.

to make the if condition work for all the instances of <E1ADRM1>....the only thing that you need to do is in the mapping logic suggested by ravi just increase the context of the <PARTNER_Q> node on the source side and make it to point to <E1EDL20>...this will apply the logic for all the instances of E1ADRM1 in E1EDL20.....no need of any UDF

I've done this but know the IF without els doesn't work. All the fields from the first E1ADRM1 instance are mapped to the file 2 times, and the 2nd E1ADRM1 data is not mapped right.

The output result in XML in APEX2.2 is absolutely fine , but when i moved the application to apex.oracle.com the XML report instead of '&' it is displaying "%26amp" .
Is there any problem with APEX3.3 .

The code for the package is open. You may use the part in the package body:

Creating a search help for a field in selection screen

Hi All,
There are 3 fields in the selection screen. They are
    WERKS
    DATE
    MATNR
Enter a value WERKS = 2465.
When I press the drop down menu for MATNR, it should only give the material number available for 2465.
I think, I should create a search help for it.
Kindly help me to create a search help for the material number based on the above condition.

User defined function in java for message mapping

I wrote the following user defined function in java for message mapping and mapped vendor with this. The aim of this function is to write a error file at defined path when i send empty Vendor value from File to RFC-Function module BAPI_PO_CREATE. The "err.txt" error file is not written when i execute in TEST but the value "ERROR" is returned to destination Vendor Field.

Check these things :
1) Whether you have permission to create a file in that directory.
2) try giving this

Hi all,
I am unable to do transform the source value to required target value,
From Source ADDRESS_TYPE = 'HOME' should be replaced with 03 to target field ANSSA, and 'MAIL' to be replaced with 05, I am trying to do it but i am unable to handle it, please give u r valuable suggestions,

This can be done using user-defined function as well.
Code the function as...

Here, Addr_Type is Input String Argument for this function.
Map this function between ADDRESS_TYPE and ANSSA.

I have one difficult issue which have one mapping rule to write user defined function. I am sending mapping rule Please give me java coding to create udf for this mapping rule which is following below:
CRFT.COSTR = M_ORD_01 and
CRFT.CRID = CRHE.CRID and
CRFV.FTNO = CRFT.FTNO and
CRFV.ATNAM = ZPPI_ORDER_SCHED_EN_DATE
And
CRFT.COSTR = M_ORD_01 and
CRFT.CRID = CRHE.CRID and
CRFV.FTNO = CRFT.FTNO and
CRFV.ATNAM = ZPPI_ORDER_SCHED_EN_TIME
From ATWRT of ZPPI_ORDER_SCHED_EN DATE+ ATWRT of ZPPIORDER_SCHED_EN_TIME
In format yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ss
using this mapping rule, ATWART field can map with target field "End Time" i think.
Actually source field is CALCULATE but this field is not in Source structure
target field is "End Time" this field is in Target Structure.

in this RFC, i want to map ATWRT field to Target field "End Time" with mapping rule which i had already given.
In Graphical mapping, i am doing . but i can not get it because mapping condition is difficult. if you have any idea in graphical mapping give me early
before that i have to give explantion about this is date value and time value passed through this ATWRT field as different records.
i am doing as a condition ie first i have taken date condition. from that condition, first two fields CRFT.COSTER and M_ORD_01 has given to "equals" funtion like that have done remaining fileds then the output of those "equals" functions given to "and" functions finally i get one output of "and" function. while sending DATE values from RFC this output of "and " function.
Like this, for Time condtion i have done mapping same way and giving a TIME values from RFC as Second record then output of this "and" function while sending second record with time value.
here mainly i am getting problem is .....
here i am taking source field ATWRT( in this field i am sending date format adn time format as different records) with the outputs of the mapping conditons as input vaules of another function. i dont have any idea for another function why because is first date record should be wait until the time record comes in this function.after then both vaules should concat .
now here whenever you send date value through this field ATWRT as first record and after satishfy the date condition form mapping rule, The date value of ATWRT should go to input of concat function. next i will send time value like date value through ATWRT as second record . It should go to another input of concat function. Then here both date value and time value concat with T and should be come output in the format yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ss and this will go to Target field "End Time".

Need PP Functional help for some legacy fields

Hi all,
I am a BW consultant. I need to replicate in SAP-BW some reports that are currently in a legacy system (non SAP). I have identified the functional area for those reports as PP. I need a little functional help from you guys to find out what some fields in the legacy system mean in SAP. Once I know the R/3 fields (and source tables if someone can tell me), I can move forward with mapping those fields into BW objects and the rest of the process.
The reason why I am seeking help from here is, unfortunately our functional team is not available right now and their availability is indefinite. So I just want to keep myself busy till they are back.
Well, here are the fields that I need help for (for now)
The report is for Daily summary of activities at a plant
Work order process
Work order type
Daily Created Bags
Daily Capacity Bags (Bags per Hour Rate* Available Hours)

Work order type - AUFK - (Field) AUART data needs to be fetched for AUFNR(Work order number)
Daily Created Bags - MSEG - data needs to be fetched for BWART = 101 or 102 and AUFNR(Work order number)
Goods issued for work order completion - MSEG- data needs to be fetched for BWART = 261 and AUFNR(Work order number)

Problem with custom search help for std SD_DEBI

Hi,
I have created a custom zcustom search help and included in std search help SD_DEBI.
In the custom serach help i have added the fields ktokd and sales area fields(sales org, Disb channel, division).
now when i goto va01 transaction and hit F4 for sold to party i was able view the KTOKD and sales area fields in the custom tab
when i select the values from f4 help and hit enter they are not getting displayed in sold to party field.
when i select only sales area fields from f4 and press enter they are getting displayed in sold to party field.
problem is with the ktokd field that i have included.
Any suggestions please let me know

I think you have missed parameter assignment from your Z append search help to standard search help.
Select the search help and click on Param Assignment button and assign the refernece parameter(KUNNR) of your
append search help to std collective search help (KUNNR).

Custom Search Help for Functional Area of Cost Centre(KS01/KS02)

Hi,
I need to implement a custom search help and custom enhancement for the field Functional Area in Basic Data tab of Cost Centre Create/Change(KS01/KS02) transactions. Details of the requirement are as below:
1. There will be a custom relation for the Cost Centre category and Functional Area which was maintained thru a SAP standard table TKA05 and a custom table.
2.When the relation to Cost Centre category and Functional Area is a one to one it exist in the TKA05 and if its one to many it will be maintained in the custom table.
3. The requirement is when the Cost Center to Functional area is maintained in table TKA05(One to One) in this case the corresponding Functional Area needs to be populated automatically after entering the cost centre and pressing a enter key by user.
4.When the Cost Centre Category and Functional area does not exist in table TKA05 and existing in custom table(One to Many) in this case the F4 should be enabled for user selection with the list of Functional area values corresponding to the cost centre category entered that are maintained in the custom table.
As per the functionality provided by SAP the input help(F4) of the field Functional area in Cost Center does not have any relation with Cost Centre Category. The existing F4 is from the Value Table(TFKB) attached to the domain of FKBER.
Please provide your valuable inputs to implement the above requirement. Your input will be rewareded.

as it just reads: you need to assign the standard cost center help to a z cost center field in component /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_DO_ACC.. which actually is fetched though the component /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_BACKEND_SH
so, if you see the component controller of SAPSRM/WDC_UI_DO_ACC you will see the component
USAGE_SH_F4 /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_BACKEND_SH
USAGE_SH_F4 /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_BACKEND_SH INTERFACECONTROLLER
so you can replicate the same functionality for your z field.
but can you clarify one thing.. why are you going for this z field in place of standard field ?

Find collective Search Help for partner function at runtime

Hi experts,
I have a screen very similar to VF05. When I enter the partner function, the corresponding field for the partner function, I want a collective search help to open.
If I enter the partner function - Employee responsible, then the search help PERM has to be called or for partner function Payer, I want the search help DEBI to be called. Can anyone let me know how can I get the related partner functions, without hardcoding for every partner function. Something similar to the VF05 report.

Collective search helps:- Combination of elementary search helps. When we need to fetch data based on multiple selection criteriau2019s. More than one tables are Selection from multiple tables
Steps for creating collective search help.
1) Enter the search help name and click on create.
2) Choose Collective search help radio button option as the search help type.
3) Enter the search help parameters.
Note that there is no selection method to be entered for a collective search help.
4) Instead of the selection method, we enter the included search helps for the collective search help.
5)We need to assign parameters for each of the included search helps.
6) Complete the parameter assignment by clicking on the push button.
7) Collective search help offers the user to obtain F4 help using any of the included search helps.

Search help for partner functions in the message to get organisation unit O

hello,
Depending on the Business partner category (Organisation, Person,Group) the search help of the partner function in a message should return the corresponding partner list.
This is working fine for standard partner functions like SLFN0002 (reported by=P) SLFN0003 (support team=O). When doing a searchhelp we get a list of organisation for the "support team" and a list of users for "reported by". this is a normal behaviour.
When copying the partner function SLFN0003 into a new ZLFN0003 and including it in the partner profile of the message the search help returns all business partners of category P but should return category O. The function category 0016 (service team) is well defined for ZLFN, I guess the link to business partner category is made indirectly there but I might be wrong.
Does anyone of you experience the same behaviour ? Any idea how to correct this ?
