Help for timer

hai guys
i am having script for generating a timer in jsp page.
When i refrehing the page the timer get again started from zero.
I want the timer should not be altered ie) it should be continue from the last value.
how can i do this.

Hi
You will need to store the last value somewhere, a JavaBean or in the session, and then retrieve this value, if its a simple integer value it may be a better idea to store it in the session information.

I'm using TIMS data type for my Time field. In ECC we will have F4 function for the same data element, but in Webdynpro screen, am not getting the F4 help.
I got some information from SCN that I need to go for some custom search help. But with which reference to the table, am I want to create it.
Please let me know, is there any other possible way to create F4 for time field for webdynpro.
Even I tried to use some standard search help, but am getting an error as 'Sending of dynpro ' ' not possible. No window system type specified'.

For time field, there is no SAP delivered search help in WDA , so we need to go for freely programmed search help.
Please refer the below link, in which Mr. Thomas, has provided the links for search help document you can follow and create new search help component
and also nugget of the component which can be imported using ZSAPLINK program.

I need a Search help for time field in case of input field ie the one similar to the date field.In webdynpro we have mapped the Tims data type to our input field.here Tims data type is the data type for time in the backend(R/3 system).Pls help me out its urgent.Pts will be awarded to any of the helpful solutions.

Create an attribute of type 'time' in context. And inputfield to this attribute.
Later, while calling BAPI, you can pass this value to Tms type field.

There is no need of any FM. What ever column you want the Time F4 help , You make that field Reference to SYST-UZEIT or some time field.
They you will get the F4 help automatically.

Input Help for TIME type field

I saw below discussion regarding a dropdown for a "TIME" type field.

I was wondering, has anyone used this in conjunction with select-options (WDR_SELECT_OPTIONS) ?
I'm getting a system-dump, "Component usage VALUE_HELP does not exist". I double checked the name that I used on the "USED COMPONENT" tab and it is VALUE_HELP.
During method ADD_SELECTION_FIELD (for IF_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS) I'm using two parameters I_VALUE_HELP_TYPE = 'APPLDEV' and I_VALUE_HELP_ID = 'VALUE_HELP'.
Maybe I'm not using the right parameters ?
Anyway, I would appreciate if anyone could give me directions to correct the problem.Or maybe there is another and better way of having an input help for a "TIME" type field on select-option.

That is because the TIME is a freely programmed value help and freely programmed value helps are not supported by the Select-Options component. That limited is listed in the online help:
Type of input help specified as type IF_WD_VALUE_HELP_HANDLER.
Note that only ABAP Dictionary-based input help and OVS input help are supported; freely programmable input help is not supported.

The reason for this is that the freely programmed value help is accessed via a component usage. The Select-Options however are a separate component. They have no declaration to your components, component usages. Therefore they produce the error that the component usage doesn't exist - which is correct. It doesn't exist in the Select-Options Component.

I'm a new user of Time Machine. I use an external drive. The progress bar says the backup will finish in 6 days! is this normal?

Selection-Options or normal field - it doesn't matter. There is no system delivered value help for a time field. This is documented in the online help:
There is no automatic F4 help for data element TIMS.

You would have to create your freely programmed value help if you want something like the time value help available in the SAPGUI.

F4 help for MRP Controller not adjacent to Plant

Hello Dear all,
I need F4 help for MRP controller on selection screen but only valid values for the plant value entered in the selection screen
If select option for Plant and MRP controller are one below the other on selection screen, then F4 help for MRP controller gives relevant values ony for that Plants entered.
But if they are not adjacent to each other F4 help for MRP controller gives all possible values. In such a case should we code separately for F4 help of MRP controller.
Any suggestions.

No, this is normal. There is no time value help in Web Dynpro ABAP.

I just purchased Time Capsule today. I ONLY want to use it as an external drive. I do not need it for Time Machine. I can see the TC in my finder, but when I click on a file or video to drag and drop, I get message that TC can't be modified. Help please

I agree with Kappy.. passing files and especially via wireless is slow as slow.
Just need to be sure your TC is the new AC model??
And the OS on the computer is Lion?
Have you completed the setup of the TC via the utility? You do still need to get internet via the TC so it has to be plugged into the main router..
Give us the full picture of the network.
Then we can help you get into it.. whether you should put your files on it is another question.

Help needed for Time Calc Java Script

Hi,
I am trying to create a timesheet in PDF and have hit a speed bump. Is there anyone there who could provide me with a script that calculated the difference between 2 times? (Field2 time)-(Feild 1 Time) = Duration.I am desperate and have tried everything.
I proccess the payroll for a company and all of the 500 or so timesheets that I received each fortnight are paper copies and I am pulling my hair out. I need to use Adobe forms (We have Adobe Pro 9 and I am using the XML forms, not live cycle) as the serach engine that we use for emails cannot search on excel documents.
I have no Java script experience and I am getting completely lost in the subject. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have just upgraded from a Macbook to a Macbook Air. I have been using a iomega external hard drive for Time Machine, which use a Firewire. However, Macbook Air's do not have a Firewire port and i cannot find an adaptor anywhere. Can anyone help?? Thanks

There has never been a reliable firewire ---> USB adapter suitable for external high speed storage. This was a major issue when the MacBooks lost the firewire port a number of years ago (Apple subsequently brought it back).
The only high speed port on the Air is the ThunderBolt port. There are external ThunderBolt drive options out there, but they're somewhat more expensive than traditional USB/FireWire options.

Help for a not so smart computer user on Time Mach and hard drive

Am sure this is a simple solve but I have tried everything so hoping someone out there can stop me from more frustration.
Am running time capsule with no problem. Bought a Seagate Free Agent portable drive which I want to use to store all my photos and delete them out of IPhoto. Sooo loaded the pics and all my ITunes music onto portable drive and started to delete all my pics in Iphoto (trying to clean up my computer a bit) so after deleting over 2000 photos...went into the Seagate hard drive and they were no longer on that hard drive either. Thank goodness for time capsule I restored them all but still cant get them off of my computer and onto only the Seagate hard drive. I went into Time Machine preferences and set it so it does not back up to the Seagate drive only the TM drive.....am I missing some other step or something to stop it from acting like an extension of time machine instead of a totally separate drive. All I want to do is copy all my photos on to drive and delete them off the computer. Even if I unplug it while I am deleting once I plug it back into the firewire connection it will delete anything I deleted in IPhoto. I tried connecting it usb and does the same thing.
Thought I could resolve this myself but after two days of reading the boards I could use a little help here.

HI Toni,
Run Disk Utility and Repair Disk Permissions.
Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select FirstAid, then click: Repair Disk Permissions. Quit DU when it's finished and reboot.
See if that makes a difference.

If you are talking about Safari on the iPad, there is no version of Adobe Flash for iOS and there never has been. Clear Safari, close the app and reset the iPad.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History and Website Data
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If you are talking about Safari on your Mac, you are in the wrong forum. But I would still clear the cache, quit Safari and restart the Mac.
