HELP, I can't update iphone because it disconnects!
I've tried several times to update my iphone on 3 different computers. Everything goes through until the last second, it stops and says it has been stopped because the iphone has been disconnected, when it was NOT disconnected. Can someone please help me? My computer(s) have been updated, all programs are up to date, so it has no security issues or anything like that. Thanks
Does it backup and sync OK? Make sure you're connected directly to a USB2.0 port and not through a hub. Try several ports on your computer. It also might be an issue with your security software, i.e. antivirus, malware, firewall, etc. Try temporarily disabling those.

It is a 16 GB iPhone 5s and at the bottom, the peach (audio) says 360 kb, the purple (photos) section says 2.84 gb, the light green (apps) says 664.4 mb, the green (documents & data) says 9.91 gb. I have removed the majority of my text messages, deleted all videos, and over half of the pictures but the numbers have not changed. Also, the amount of available mb says 749.1, but it keeps decreasing by the hour and I haven't added anything to my phone including new messages in the past 8 hours. I'm all out of solutions, please help.

Can Apple make an app or an update that makes you insert your password to turn your phone off? This can help deal with theft of iPhones because people take or find a iPhone, the first thing they do is turn the phone off.
They probably can do such s thing if they choose to do so.

Not sure this is a very useful thing. It would run down the battery. All a thief has to do is remove them SIM and restore the iphone to stop it from being tracked. -
Can not update iTunes because I have iMac with 10.5.8 . How I will sync my iphone 6.0 with an older version of iTunes on my iMac???? There is no update for the software of my iMac and no update for the iTunes.... So how can I sync????
Requirements for iPhone 5:
Syncing with iTunes on a Mac or PC requires:
Mac: OS X v10.6.8 or later
PC: Windows 7; Windows Vista; or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 3 or later
iTunes 10.7 or later
The highest version of iTunes you can install is 10.6.3 which will not sync with the iPhone 5.

BONJOUR: I can't update Itunes because it keeps saying i don't have "sufficiant priviledges". When i go into properties, it's set to disabled. When i try to change it to automatic it say "scheduled for deletion". HELP

If you can, uninstall and reinstall itunes..... Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP

My icloud apple ID had been disabled after icloud services downgraded my 18Gb documents in the cloud to 5Gb. I received an email from icloud services a couple of months after i upgraded my icloud storage (on Sept30th) saying that my billing info was wrong. In fact my credit card was outdated so i updated my credit I can't updated now because when i try to do it i get a message saying that my ID is disabled. Can you help me?? I have apps from old work account that I can't remember the password to. On my personal phone those apps keep showing up but I can't update them because I can't remember the password. How can I delete them and download on my new account?

Can't update osx because disk full
I have a MacBook Air with 120 GB hard drive. Have been getting message "Can't update (OSX) because startup disk full." Says I need to free up some disk space. Other messages just say the hard drive is too full. When I go to Finder the "get info" option for the hard drive says I only have about 365 MB left on disk. Hard to believe since I have very little data on computer. No music, no videos, less than 100 pictures. Only thing of any size is Parallels desktop and Windows 7. I was stopped from using Windows because of the full disk.
When I check each secxtion in Finder>Favorites they only add up to less than 70 GB (still hard to believe that much is on my disk).
How do I search this out? Where did the other 50 GB (120 GB that "get info" for hard drive says is used less 70 GB sum of folders)? Is there a utility to show all folders or files in order of size, high to low?
BTW, my home iMac with thousands of pictures, 300+ cd's in lossless compression and many more downloads, files and programs loaded doesn't use as much disk space as this Air.Freeing space on your Mac OS X startup disk
