Help in How to Print Lines in SAPSCRIPT

Hi to all,
i am Working on RG1 Report, and i have drawn line in my script, it shows in print preview but it is not getting me on my printout (Hardcopy).
Plz Help ...... its urgent

H did u draw the line.
Usually in scripts we use uline command to draw a horizontal line.
Example:
&ULINE(72)&
If u want to draw vertical line, u can use box command and keep width 0.
Example:
BOX XPOS '0' CM WIDTH '0' CM HEIGHT &17& CM FRAME 2 TW
Try out in this format and let me know if u face any problem.

I am now having a problem in printing uinicode in printing ( printer HP LaserJet 4250 PCL 6) with SAPscript. Although i have changed the font in SAPscript text ( paragraph format ) , but when i print out , the font does not change , coul you please help me this

Let me tell you how to print double digit character in printer.
Usually, all ENGLISH characters are single digit characters and they can be printed on ordinary printer.
Now coming back to double digit character Japanese, chinese, Vitanamese, some special symbols etc. for printing this characters unicode enabled printer is must.
Usually, you can ask your basis team to enable unicode to your printer, all they need is some additional hard disk, they will be setting your printer in SAP.
Note: Until unless you enable unicode (HP LaserJet 4250 PCL 6) it acts as an ordinary printer.

How to print line numbers in NWDS for Java?

Hi everyone,
does someone know how to print out program code with line numbers from the Netweaver Developer Studio for Java? This is inevitable for code reviews.
In Eclipse 3.4 this issue is solved. Is there possibly such a patch for NWDS as well?

thanks for the quick reply. The setting you mention displays line numbers on the screen alright, but printing out does not work.
We use: SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio for SAP NetWeaver 7.1 SP06 PAT0000, Build id: 200807051938.
I guess it just does not work, because it was fixed only for Eclipse 3.4, and the above NWDS version bases on Eclipse 3.3.
What do you recommend for code inspections - copy/paste into PSPad or do you know a more comfortable practice?

I use the printstream class to print some line in a text using java.
here is the code:

                p.println("\n");when i use this and output of this character in windows is
date RecCount

when i use the same code in unix it shows the following output:
date RecCount[]22-07-2007
it wont accept the new line character could any one give me an idea to solve this problem.

PrintStream has a println() method. Use that. Or System.getProperty("line.separator").
Because a newline char doesn't necessarily specify a line break. It's system-dependent.

We have got a requirement of printing the vendor invoice info(Line Items) above and below the actual check.
Eg.
Page 1
1-8 Line Items
Voided Check
1-8 Line Items
Page 2
9-16 Line Items

9-16 Line Items
Page 3 ..... (last Page)
17-20 Line Items
Actual Check
17-20 Line Items
Now, All the things are printing fine except dual printing of the Line items at the below of Check.
Please help me..... i am using Check print program RFFOUS_C.
If anyone can has done something like this before than please send me the code for it.

we have done check printing here. but can u pl tell me why is the line item required to be printed below the check also??
u must have observed that in the check sapscript ( F110_PRENUM_CHCK), the main window is situated above the check window.. n the line items are coming within the main window...since the line items are dynamic data( not fixed), u have to create a window below the check n that has to be a MAIN window again for it to display multiple data.. so wen ur last page is getting called ( u need to find that out that wen is the last page getting called ), u can insert a write_form for this new main window along with the other write_form( for the earlier main window).
it can get very complex though as i dont know if this will certainly work...
is the requirement reaaly to print the line items below the check or anything else will do?? as it wud greatly reduce ur headache...

Need help about how to print the report landscape

Hi,
I am using Oracle Developer 6.0 Report Builder to generate reports and I am new to it. My boss asked me to generate the report in landscape style. In the Report Builder for Windows 95/NT, I went to FILE->PAGE SETUP, clicked Landscape and OK, but it didn't work. Also, I saved report as PDF file, in Acrobat Reader 4.0, I did FILE->PAGE SETUP->Properties and chose Landscape. But after the report was printed out, it was still in Portrait style. By the way, the Landscape Properties of printer working for MS Word.
I'd really appreciate it if someone would give me some suggestions.

The SAP printer drivers based on page-oriented printers use these commands when creating output whereas the line printers and non-supported page-oriented printers ignore these commands.
Syntax:/: BOX [XPOS] [YPOS] [WIDTH] [HEIGHT] [FRAME] [INTENSITY]
This command draws a box of the specified size at the specified position.
The following calculation is performed internally to determine the absolute output position of a box on the page:
X(abs) = XORIGIN + XPOS
Y(abs) = YORIGIN + YPOS
WIDTH determines the width of the box.
Default: WIDTH value of the SIZE command.
HEIGHT determines height of the box.
Default: HEIGHT value of the SIZE command.
FRAME determines the thickness of frame.
Default: 0 (no frame).
INTENSITY determines the box contents as a grayscale percentage.
Default: 100 (full black)
