Help integrating swf in blogger

Hello, and sorry if this is not the correct place to post this question but i am new. if not please remove to the correct forum.
I have this blogger site [link removed by moderator] and i have already managed to add some flash games. The problem is i dont know how to add a flash introduction to play a small video automatically. Is it possible to do it as for example in this site:  [links removed by moderator]
Thank you in advance for your kind reply

That's the defaul behaviour of SWF files, you could open that file in
another tab or page.

  • I need help integrating Microsoft Office, Outlook and Calendar with my job and is it possible

Ok guys I am new to the iphone 4s. I just dumped my Blackberry after 10 years. I need help integrating Microsoft Office, Outlook and Calendar with my job and is it possible? Also I need it to automatically push email and appointments to my phone? I will buy any app just need to know which is best for work environment. Here is what I am thinking about doing. http://www.groovypost.com/howto/apple/sync-iphone-or-ipod-touch-calendar-and-con tacts-with-google/ Is this the best way? For personal use I am using paid G whiz app

I use Google Calendar Sync to sync my work Outlook calendar to a gmail account, then sync that to my iPhone.  It works well for me for the past couple of years.
As far as mail itself, just ask your it folks for settings for remote access to your exchange account, and then set it up on the phone.
As far as working with Office docs, to be able to actually edit them and such, look in the app store for DocsToGo or QuickOffice - they both are good but each has it's pros and cons, so on balance it's down to mere preference i think.

  • Need help with SWF page transitions please :)

I am having an issue recreating something I have seen on
other flash sites... (For example on 2Advanced.com) It is hard to
explain but I will do my best. I am advanced in design, layout,
tweening, and am a beginner to intermediate action scripter. So
even if your solution is a point in the right direction to some
code I could pick up and noodle around with that would be great.
That having been said, on to the issue, it's a 2 parter:
    Part 1:
I have a Master FLA (or SWF) containing navigation that loads
secondary SWF pages into movie clip containers for the 5 additional
pages of the site. These load above the Master movie clip masking
it (Navigation floats above) so the loaded pages are sandwiched in
    between.
View page in it's current state here:
    http://sky.prohosting.com/tk421808/rwip/gallery_MAIN.html
This works ok right now, but I have the SWFs replacing one
another in one single movie clip container. What I would like to do
is similar to shuffling 5 cards... if you want the 4th card down
you pull it out, it goes to the top and slides over the last
visible card on top. So I would like the first page clicked to
slide in covering the master MC, the second page clicked, to slide
in covering that one, and so on and so forth. This would be easy if
the pages were linear, then I could just stack the movie clips, but
since the user will click out of order I need a way to load one
into MC_2 (on top), Then when another is clicked have the MC_2 SWF
move down a level (Swap MC?) to allow the second to slide in above,
and then delete the movie that has moved down into level one
(Bottom) then have this repeat when another movie is clicked. This
way it will look like the page you clicked is always sliding in
over the one you are leaving.
    Part 2:
I have no idea how to do this next part but... I believe it
involves a gotoAndPlay. I would like to have animation in the movie
that is unloading after the button for the next page to load is
clicked... in other words, you have loaded a page, you click on
another link, and before the new external SWF page loads, the
current performs a gotoAndPlay where I have animated some
de-constructing swipes that remove the text, shapes holding the
text, and the image. ONLY THEN does it start to load the movie for
the link it selected. I think what I am trying to ask here is how
does it carry the link through the unloading animation until it's
done and then execute the loading of the new external SWF of the
    link they just clicked?
I pray this makes sense... If not I would be happy to explain
further. :) Thanks in advance for any help!

    <<
You don't use frames. I'd probably use Fuse for this - which
    is a sequencing
engine. (www.mosessupposes.com) You can call a function when
    the sequence is
done animating - using what's known as a callBack function.
    That'd be the
    best way, IMO.
For part one, you could either place mutliple empty movie
    clips, or just
create them using createEmptyMovieClip - which is a MovieClip
    method, and
then load your swfs into them with MovieClipLoader. You can
    use swapDepths
for layer control, in order to have any given clip move above
    another, layer
    wise.

  • The Path to nowhere - help! swf files not showing in browser

i need help with getting a swf file to show in the browsers. (it previews in dreamweaver)
created a website in dreamweaver cs4. created a simple slideshow in flash 4.
on the index.html page inserted the flash file.
it previews in dreamweaver BUT when i text in browsers it shows as a white box.
have been reading through all the info about paths etc.
can you simplify this entry below from adninjastrator on the adobe forums sept 19 2011???........
"Still looks like a pathing problem to me. For review:
    Pathing issues
Almost always when it works on the local machine and not the server, it's a pathing problem.
You can put your Flash related files in whatever folders you want, they do NOT have to be in the root, they do NOT all have to be in the same folder. But if you have a problem and if sticking them all in the root folder works, then you know that the issue was a pathing problem.
Just remember that paths used in the .swf become relative to the Web page on which the .swf is placed, NOT it’s physical location.  So for example, if your .swf is in the flash/data folder and you use that .swf on a Web page in the root folder, you are in effect, removing that .swf from flash/data and putting it in root. So if the .swf is loading any related files (xml, images, video, etc), the path used inside the .swf to load the .xml file has to be relative to it's new location in root and then back down into flash/data. This is true even though when testing the .swf by itself, it can be inside flash/data and work just fine, since relative to it's location, the path is just fine, they are in the same folder. But if that same path is used when the .swf is placed on a page two folder levels up, the relative path has changed, the old "same folder" path will not work.
In fact if you are placing the .swf on a web page in a different folder than the .swf is stored in, and that .swf calls external assets, then direct clicking and opening of the .swf in it’s folder should NOT work! That’s because the paths to the external assets should be relative to the Web page and not the physical location of the .swf.
So just be sure that you use addresses relative to the final Web page locations (not physical file locations) and you can put the Flash related files in what ever folders you want.

  • Need help viewing SWF on my site

I'm using DW 8, Cute FTP Pro & GoDaddy.
My first attempt at uploading and properly viewing a SWF file
has resulted in a problem that I can't seem to figure out.
Since I'm new at this, I think that it is a matter of a
missed setting and/or improper or missing code.
The Page and SWF Play properly in the Design view of my DW 8
program however, the SWF Plays Full Screen on the website.
That is, when I enter the page on the site, the page comes up
properly, I press Enter to 'Activate' the Flash control, click the
'Play' button (I have to make 2 Single Clicks), the SWF loads, the
page disappears and then the SWF plays Full screen.
What I'm trying to figure out is how I can make it so that
the SWF plays within the page and not jump into a Full Screen mode.
    The Page is located here;
    Samantha
    Sings
(and the code can be viewed by Right-Clicking on the page,
    then > View Source)
I would like to know if someone can help me resolve this.
    With appreciation,
    Charles

download the 8.1 DW updater which will contain the code to
    get around the
security issue with Flash. Once you have the update
    installed, open the page
in DW and it will update the code. Then reload the page to
    the server, along
with the scripts folder it will create.

  • Need help please swf html not working right

    Hello everyone,
I created a game in keynote for my HS kids with links to the right slide according to whether or not they are the correct answer.
I exported it to flash. I got two files xxx.swf when I click on this on my desktop it opens in safari with a black background and it plays.
the second file is xxx.html when I click on this on my desktop it opens in safari and plays in a smaller frame with a white background.
So I uploaded my swf to idisk and I copied the content of the HTML in a snippet. I thought it would work. It does not.
I could not care less about the background I just want one or the other to work but I can figure it out.
Thank you in advance for your help
    Mireille

Upload the SWF and the HTML file to your website folder in Finder/Go/iDisk/My iDisk/Web/Sites.
Create a link on any web page to the HTML file....
    http://web.mac.com/username/WebsiteName/xxx.html
... and select "open in a new window" if you want.
Clicking the link should then open your movie to play in a new window.

  • Help looping swf in dreamweaver

    hello,
I am new to flash, and relatively new to dreamweaver.
I am trying to drop an swf file into a dreamweaver generated
page and have the video file loop but I can only get it to play
once and then it stops. I have checked the loop box is selected in
    my publish settings.
I imagine it is something simple.
    Can anyone help?
    Many thanks, Damian.

    Damian
You dont say what versions you have. Here's how I do it in MX
2004 Pro. From DW, on the page i want the SWF to play, I select
Insert, then Media, then Flash. Then select the file, and where on
the page, perhaps in its own table with a border, etc.
Now click on the Flash icon, and open the Properties (F3).
The popup will have two options, Loop and Autoplay, at least in my
version. Even tho you published the SWF with Loop capability it
will need DW placing the code for that in the page code. If your
version doesn't have the option in the Properties box, open
Parameters, click + (Add) and type "Loop", then "True." And if
necessary, another +, and "Autoplay", then "True."
Save, and this should do it.

  • Help saving .swf files in Flash 8

Okay here is the deal. I downloaded a template for oscommerce
that has a flash header (this flash file is main.swf). I am able to
make the adjustments that are needed in Flash 8 but once I try to
save it as .swf it tells me that I am unable to save it as an older
file. It says that I can try to save as "save as" but everytime I
save as main.swf it tells me the same thing again.
Also is there anything special that needs to be done in my
FTP program to upload flash files correctly?
Thank you for your time guys.

  • Help Integrating iWeb and ImageCaster (WebCam Software)

    Hi All,
I've tried obtaining assistance with the manufacturer of ImageCaster, but they were little help.
I'm a newbie when it comes to web cams, website production, HTLM, etc., but want to start building a website with iWeb.
Was wondering if any ImageCaster software users could provide assistance in integrating an ImageCaster webcam "window" into iWeb (preferably using a custom frame). I've seen posts out here offering help with EvoCam, but not ImageCaster.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    and this page

it looks like it will make web pages for you with various frames, etc.
Integrating it into iWeb is probably possible, but I don't know enough about the program.

  • Please help : Integration Broker setup issue.

    Hello All,
    I'm working on integrating Peoplesoft HRMS 9.0 with Peoplesoft ELM 9.0 with Peopletools 8.49. Referring PeopleBooks, I'm able to successfully setup;
    1. Local and remote nodes (able to ping successfully)
    2. Message
    3. Nodes
    4. Service operations and Security
    5. Routings.
Next, when I open respective messages in application designer, the message definition properties USE tab is blank.
I'm not able to figure out the reason even after going through documents. I would appreciate if some one can help to figure out the reason.
    Thanks,
    TH

That is correct. IB was rewritten in 8.48. The Use tab is a
"hangover" to allow for converting from an earlier version to
8.48 and (within reason) a back convert.

  • Adobe Captivate / External Files of integrated SWF

I have an Captivate File that contains an SWF, that loads an external XML File. The SWF works perfect / AS3 and the files are in the correct folder.
However, Captivate does not link to the relative path, that is given by the swf, but to a very strange temporary path in my documents.../local.../temp...:
    Error #2044: ioError unverarbeitet. text=Error #2032: Stream-Fehler. URL: file:///C|/DOKUME%7E1/cpe/LOKALE%7E1/Temp/cp4Temp/%7ECa292/config.xml
        at test_xml()
This is somewhat spectacular, since I didn't thought that captivate could top the main bug of not providing right-click opportunities on local machines without setting a trusted path (this file goes to customers...).
Whatever: I would be very thankful if someone would provide me with a solution for this bug, since I'm running towards a deadline and captivate confuses me with ridicoulous errors on problems that I would have never imagined of.

    Hi again
All of it boils down to security. Thanks hackers! NOT!!!
Basically, if you will be deploying on CD-ROM, you need to trick Flash into thinking it is running from a server. This is easily overcome by using a freeware application called Server2Go.
Additionally, you need to ensure that the latest patch has been applied to Captivate, as it resolves some linking issues.
The process below should work to install Server2Go on CD-ROM
Download the Server2Go software from http://www.server2go-web.de/download/download.html
    Choose the Micro package
This should result in receiving a zip file named distribute_apache1.3_micro.zip
Unzip the contents of the zip file to the root of your hard drive ( C:\ )
This should create a folder named distribute_apache1.3_micro
Open this folder and delete the following files and folders inside:
    Files:
    splash.bmp
    logo.ico
    readme.txt
    Folders:
    dlls
    dbdir
    cgi-bin
Open the htdocs folder and delete all files and folders inside.
Copy all of your Captivate output files to the htdocs folder
Rename the HTML page Captivate created to index.htm
Copy the contents of the distribute_apache1.3_micro folder to the CD-ROM and test!
    Hopefully this helps! Rick
