Help! Maze Problem

Question

Could someone lend a hand? I am attempting to write a program that will read characters from a input file into a two-dimensional char array. The character will be a 'x'. The program will give the path to the other side. Example(0,0;1,1;1,2... and so on)Give the path to the other side of the maze. The 'x' signifies a road block. See sample file

Here is the code I have so far. I'm have a problem getting searching the array. Can anyone help? Here is my code thus far.

here is my java swing method for reading a file, and loading it line by line into an array.
to call it:
readFile("file.txt")and it'll read the file file.txt
