Help need in Table control
Hi guys,
I am new to dialog programming , I have the following requirement in table control.
I have to be displayed 4 fields in Table control
1. Mara-MATNR (Match code)
2.Mara-BISMT
3. Mara-MATKL
4. Makt-MAKTX
Based on Material number the rest of the fields to be displayed automatically.
If possible send the sample code for the above requirement.
Thanks & Regards
Raj
Hi,
Create a screen and create those fields in that screen with proper data element type.
in the PAI event, create a Module like MODULE_FILL_DATA. and double click on that one, in that module write this code
IF MATNR IS INITIAL.
Write the Error like please enter the material No
ELSE.
Select BISMT MATKL MAKTX into those screen field from MARA where
MARA = Screenfield-MATNR.
ENDIF.
that's it, and when you run the screen enter the material no and press enter, then all the fields will come over there

i m using CALL FUNCTION 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST'
for user defined F4 help . but where exactly to code i dont knw.please help.
thank you.
Ajantha.Hi,
Inthe Module Pool Program, By Default the PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT and PROCESS AFTER INPUT, at the same way we need to write the POV ...
As same as we need to write the POV enent manuvally, what you writen the Event will be work in the Report but that does not work in the Module pool Program you need to write PROCESS ON VALUE REQUEST
write as PROCESS ON VALUE REQUEST then under this write the Function module to call the F4 for that field
The Code should be like
PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST.
FIELD <f> MODULE <mod>. --> " Double click it and write the Function module for this then the F4 help will come for this Field

Could you help me about table control .. ?
Dear All,
I've a problem in table Control.
I put table control inside tab control (there are many tab in one screen where one tab has one table control).
The schenario of the program, i wanna use table control to maintain the value from some table.
So certainly it has insert/add, delete function.
As we know to do one function in those e.g. add record button, we need specify some code on that button.
So ..
Once when that button is pressed, we can check what button is being pressed using that code.
And it can run well.
But this is the strange one, if i have schenario like this :
1. I click add record button
I will get the add code through ok_code/SY-UCOMM variable.
2. I scroll down/up the table control.
(THIS IS THE WEIRD), the ok_code/SY-UCOMM variable still keep having add code. So every we scroll down/up, application also will add one record.
Could you help me to make ok_code/SY-UCOMM blank in every time i scroll down/up the table control ??
Or could you help me how to i specify the code for scroll down/up the table control so I can identify when user is scrolling down/up the table control??
I really need your guidance/suggestion how to overcome it .. ?
Many tks for all your attention.
Best regards,
Daniel N.Following is a sample code of handling table control in BDC.

Help needed with tables in iWork pages
Hi,
When I have a table in microsoft word I can fill it with all the content I like and it will run on page to page.
In Pages however, a row (along with the rest of the table below) will split off and start on the next page if threre is too much content.
If the contents runs over a whole page the text will run on into nowhere, so off the page and the subsquent empty cells will start on the next page.
How do I stop this from happening?
ThanksThat is the way tables in Pages works. It doesn't work as in Word. Do you really need using tables? I myself find it a bad habit when using a table for every thing.

Hi Abapers
In Table View Control which property or system variable keeps the user selected row's row id.
Situation is that user enters many records into sales details table view. Table view contains the fields, productid product no qty discount and rate. Suppose user wants to delete one particular record(sales details) from that table view while entering this sales details .here i want to know which is that particular row that the user selected. Table views which property keeps this row no information. i am very glad if you people give me more information abount table View Controls .
With regards
Anoop. You would have to use the outbound plugs to transfer data from your component to the other component. Here you have a parameter IV_DATA_COLLECTION. Fill the entries you want to fill here.
Check the Sold to Party pop up while creating Quotation for Sales cycle when you log in with SALESPRO.

Help needed in Message Control - very urgent
Hi Experts,
I have one requirement where in the customer wants to stop creation of IDOC which posts Invoice using message control and message control status should be changed to RED color and also the message should be populated in the processing log saying 'IDOC processing failed, External customer numbers not maintained'.
Could you please let me know any user exits or customer exits available for this purpose.
I have searched all the possibilities.
I have chanked the program RSNAST00 which picks up the data from table NAST and looks into table TNAPR to get the processing porgram for th selected output and also this program checks the partner profile and gets the process code which creates an inoice IDOC. I searched for user exits and customer exits to popolate the required messages and stop IDOC creation.
I am an ABAPER and i know i need to write code to do validation, but could not find the exact place where to write? I any ABAPERS looking at this post, please reply me.
Can anyone please advise me how to go about solving this issue?
Thanks
SrinathHi,
I am sending the requirement.
Please send me the solution.
Requirements:
1. EDI Invoice requires populating bottle UPC number not case UPC in IDOC and also populates customer PO number when invoice billing type is a credit. These changes need to be reflected on EDI invoice (Idoc INVOIC02).
Investigation:
Requirement 1. EDI invoices are populating segment E1EDP19 qualifier 003 based on the unit of measure in the line item. If shipment unit is CSE then it populates CSE upc, if shipment unit is EA then it populates Bottle UPC.
a. It was found that the UPC populated on the EDI invoice was being read from material master Additional data tab. (Field SMEINH-EAN11). For the EDI invoice, the customers expect the bottle UPC on this column.
Requirement 2. Need to always populate Segment E1EDK02 Qualifier 001 (customer PO) on the INVOIC02 idoc. Standard SAP populates this information only when the billing type is F2 (regular invoice) and if the customer PO was entered in the Sales Order.
a) Premier requires this information to be populated in the idoc if the billing type is G2, RE, L2 also.
Solution:
Requirement 1.
IDOC_OUTPUT_INVOIC function module needs to be changed to always populate the UPC number for the bottle UPC in segment E1EDP19 qualifier 003, field IDTNR. This number is found on the material master Basic data 1 view. Field name is MARA-EAN11. Please see screenshot of where in the material master to find the bottle UPC.
a. This change applies to all billing types (F2, G2, L2, RE etc).
Requirement 2.
Change IDOC_OUTPUT_INVOIC function module to always populate customer PO information in Segment E1EDK02 qualifier 001, field BELNR.
If billing type is equal to G2, L2, RE and VBRK-XBLNR not equal blanks then make BELNR = VBRK-XBLNR.
Segment: E1EDK02
Field: QUAL = 001
Field: BELNR = VBRK-XBLNR
Please help me how to move a step ahead.
Waiting for your immediate response.
Thanks,
Chandra. -
Help needed to take control back from sqlplus for expired password
Hi,
I am executing the following line for Oracle 11g in Windows from my application
sqlplus -L "aaaa"/"aaaa" @connectonly.sql >>"D:\tempDBlogs\connectonly.log"
connectonly.sql file contains the following code:
whenever sqlerror exit 1
whenever oserror exit 2
exit
This piece of code executes fine for both correct & incorrect userid & password and gives proper messages. Now the problem is when password of the user in DB gets expired. The controls waits for user input. But my problem is I am runinng this code from an application which waits for sqlplus.exe to end, as it can't proceed without validation. But sqlplus runs as background process and the command prompt never comes to user. Moreover I dont want to give the user the option to change DB password from my application front end.
So I need to find a way so that if password is expired sqlplus will return the control and will not wait for user input. Or atleast my application gets to know that the password is expired so that it can kill sqlplus process.
Can somebody help me in this.interesting question. I tried something on unix and this seems to work. I simply piped a line through this which leads to an error with the expire-prompt and doesnt do any harm when there is no such prompt:
oracle@oracle:~$ echo "" | sqlplus brost/secret @test.sql
SQL*Plus: Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production on Tue May 19 10:18:36 2009
Copyright (c) 1982, 2005, Oracle. All rights reserved.
ERROR:
ORA-28001: the password has expired
Changing password for brost
New password:
Retype new password:
ERROR:
ORA-00988: missing or invalid password(s)
Password unchangedSomething similar should be possible on windows. Of course, the real solution would be flag for sqlplus that makes it absolutely non-interactive. -
Help needed in table maintenance
Dear all
I have to add a few fields in existing Z-table. When I try to add a field to the table, I get an error that
Table <table name> is too long (>1962). Can any one guide what's the meaning of this and how to correct the same.
Thanks in advance. Points for sure.
Regards
DineshHi,
The total field lengths of the data elements used in your table is more than 1962, which is the max permissible limit.
Reduce the length of some of the text fields which you feel is extra and then embed your new field,
This should solve your problem.
Hope this helps!!!

Help needed in Table in Table Approach using OAF
We have a requirement in OAF wherein the results region of search page should give header details. And in header details there is a show and hide button which would show all the line details corresponding to the header (like Table – in – Table).
For Header details I have used advanced table under that I have used detail region and there I have created advanced table for line details.
I have also created view link to link the header details view object and line details view object.
In Process Request method of the controller I have set view link name and child attribute name for both outer table (header details table) and inner table (line details table)
When I run the OAF page, I am getting the below error. I am facing this error when I tried to set the view link name and child attribute of inner table (i.e. line details table) in the controller.

Help needed regarding table layouting Issue in CS4
I was trying to layout a table using an Indesign custom script in CS4. The input to the Indesign is a XML file
Please find below the snapshot of the XML file with the table definition:
<Table xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/AdobeInDesign/5.0/" aid5:tablestyle="_XXY" aid:tcols="6" aid:trows="17"><Cell xmlns:aid5="http://ns.adobe.com/AdobeInDesign/5.0/" aid5:cellstyle="_XYY" aid:ccols="1" aid:crows="1" aid5:tablestyle="_XXY">
Now when the table is layouting it is not taking into account the style of the table nor that of the cell.
Can you please suggest what is the best way of defining the table styles and the cell styles so that the table can be laid out in Indesign with the proper table styles and the cell styles. Please post in the ID forum.

Help needed in Table and field
Hi all,
can any one tell me the table and field to get basic unit of measure and unit of issue.
I guess both are different.
ThanksFor base unit of measure, uom, T006 is the main table. But whereever you have a quantity yu will find UOM in that table. The field is MEINS.
when you say unit of issue, you mean actual unit of measure right?
In that case it again depends on what you are looking at. Example
in table LIPS there is base UOM and Actual UOM.
base is always "MEINS" and actual is "LFIMG" in this case.
So get the table in your functional area and check for the actual uom field in SE11.
