Help needed to loadjava apache poi jars into oracle database. Many classes left unresolved. (Poi 3.7, database 11.1.0.7). Please share your experience!
Hi,
The first 3 steps are just perfect.
But with
loadjava.bat -user=user/pw@connstr -force -resolve geronimo-stax-api_1.0_spec-1.0.jar
the results are rather unexpected. Here is a part of the log file:
arguments: '-user' 'ccc/***@bisera7-db.dev.srv' '-fileout' 'c:\temp\load4.log' '-force' '-resolve' '-jarsasdbobjects' '-v' 'geronimo-stax-api_1.0_spec-1.0.jar'

G3 Firewire...Serious help needed on Start-up!
Hello folks,
I've had my G3 power book for 4 1/2 years now. I've never had any serious problems until now. When I start it up I get the flashing question mark. I've had this problem before but I was able to fix it by pressing
'shift' while starting up. I've also tried holding the 'space bar', 'cmd-opt-p-r', 'c'. Anything that I try does not seem to work. I am unable to start up from the cd because my cd drive does not work. I've also tried an external cd drive but that doesn't work either. My main concern is that I can get some saved information that I desperately need.
Is there anything else I can do? Please help.
JohnnieJohnnie,
Shut down the Powerbook FireWire a.k.a. Pismo and disconnect all cables, PC cards, and peripherals.
Press the PRAM reset keys (command-option-R-P), power on and release the keys after you hear two startup chimes, and see if it will boot. You have probably already done this many times, but give it a try anyway.
The host computer...running 9.x or 10.x? If 10.x, the Finder Preferences may not be set to display an HD icon on the desktop; open a Finder window and see if the HD is in the left column.
Does the Pismo powerbook properly enter FireWire Target Disk Mode. Please follow the instructions in the link in my previous reply.
Host computer turned on > Pismo turned off > connect Pismo to host via a 6-pin FW cable > start Pismo while pressing the 'T' key until the FireWire symbol appears on the Pismo's screen. -
Help needed in learning the basics of Java Smart Card and implementation?
Hello every body,
I am trying to develop the applications on java contactless smart cards technology.
Can any body give me the details like how to start?
What are the required softwares and installation procedure and path settings and etc.?
I am the beginner in java smart card application development.
plz help me outDear Friend,
I would advice to divide learning into two main parts: JavaCard technology and contactless RFID cards. For JavaCard technology you can find useful articles on Sun web-site (developers.sun.com/mobility/javacard/articles/javacard1/). For contactless RFID you can find few useful books at Amazon. Regarding software you need JC development kit. How to install it there is an instrunction in JCDK user guide.
If it is not a secret what a javacard contactless card you are going to use in your work?
Yours

Help needed to start HTTP Protocol with timeout
I am looking for information to point me in the right direction. I would like to create a class that would implement the HTTP protocol and would allow the user to specify a timeout if unable to connect to the server. I have used the URL and HttpURLConnection classes before, but have not used any of the other classes in the java.net package. I am just trying to create an app that will download a file from a specified URL. Something that I could use in the future and something to get more programming experience using the java.net package.
Could you tell me:
1) Which classes I would need to use to help implement a timeout
2) Where I can find an example or other information on how to implement the HTTP protocol with the class from question 1 above.
TIA for any informationThat would definately reduce the coding time but would
do little to help with my understanding of classes in
the java.net package or to gather a better
understanding of the HTTP protocol. :-)
That said, I am currently downloading the 1.5 beta to
see what they have done.If it's just an academic thing to re-invent the wheel (code) that deals with the HTTP protocol, then go right ahead (ok, you don't need my permission). -
Hello all... I seemed to have done something very bad to my iMac. When I start it up 3 images flash repeatedly and there is no way for me to start any work on my computer. The 3 images that flash are the apple logo, a prohibited symbol, and the file folder with the question mark on it. I have tried the startup holding down the control key, see the startup disk, bu when I click the arrow the system runs through the 3 symbols again. Eventually the process stops on the file folder. I realize I may need to bring the computer in to a store, but I thought I would throw the question to the masters first. Any suggestions? I will admit that I deleted the library folder, only because it was duplicated. I realize that this is probably the reason this is happening, but if anyone can assist me in restoring the library folder (even though there is already one on the hard drive) I would appreciate that as well. Anything helps. Thanks to all...
Yep. Figured. I was running Mountain Lion (pre-mavericks). So, what to do, what to do?
I thought since the library was duplicated I'd be good. Never thought that this would be the result. Do I bring it to an Apple store, or sell it as scrap? I do have an external hard drive that has been backing up, so we're good there.
Thanks! -
Help needed for Netstat Logs - unrecognized connections, how do I get rid of them?
HI,
I've tried to gather as much info as possible - running traceroute on some and also looking up ip addy - to help you help me
I've been monitoring this and Level 3 Communications and 24/7 Media have been repeated connections over many many days.
Question: When running traceroute on an ip addy found in netstat, is the last host name the physical location of where the connected computer is? For example, is the one below 208.71.125.44.80 - locatedin Washinton State or Washington DC?
Question: How can I stop or disconnect these connections? For example, in the 208.71.125.44.80 example - are they connected to my port 51599? I checked to see open ports and this number did not come up.

New to flash help needed to start
hi i have just downloaded a template which im now trying to modify, i have tons of files which came with the template which one do i start on first to make my website. many thanks debby
If your template came with some form of Read Me file, you should start there. A good template design will provide instructiuions on how to modify it to include your own content. Beyond that, if it is a Flash site, then you want to edit Flash files that have .fla extensions. There may be data files that came with the template that may have .xml or .txt extensions. You may want to look thru these to see if the resemble/define any of the content you plan to change.
Unfortunately, if there are alot of files that came with your template then there are alot of possibilities as to what files need to be dealt with in what way. If there is no read me file, then open whatever fla file came with it and see what's in it that you planned to change as a starting point. -

Help needed : javamail Too many simultaneous connections
Hello
i'm using javamail to develop a webmail
i've created a service Class , and all things works well , but i have a serious problem when i browse my webmail ( viewing folders: inbox / spam / etc or messages) i get an error saying :
Too many simultaneous connections. (Failure)
i know that the imap server dosen't support more than 10 simultaneous connections.
But i can't say to users using my webmail to do not a lot of actions !!! , and also when i use thunderbird for example it works fine without errors even if i do a lot of actions/connections
How can i solve that problem ?
Thanks

A4 CLOSE
A4 CLOSEThunderbird supports disconnected or offline operation. It can disconnect from the server and then reconnect later
and synchronize its state, so that you never know it was disconnected.
You can do that too, but it's a lot of work.
For webmail, the simplest approach is usually to have only one folder open at a time for each user.
If your IMAP server is limiting you to 10 connections total, across all users, get a new IMAP server. -
Help needed on start routines in update rules
Hi All,
I want to extract data from two data sources(For ex 2LIS_02_HDR, 2LIS_02_ITM).
I am using 2 first layer ODS' and one second layer ODS for consolidation.I want to write a start routine in the update rules so that the data of the MATNR(Material Number) field from 2LIS_02_ITM will be populated in the second layer ODS when the keys (EBELN) of the datasources are equal in the first layer ODS'.
Can anyone send me the code for this requirement?
Thanks in Advance,
Sanjana.i am assuming u have a direct transformation with 2lis_02_hdr
and u want to look up on the DSO of 2lis_02_ITM to get the material.
MATNR = 0material
EBELN = 0docnum.
put this code in the start routine of the transformation of 2lis_02_HDR.
TYPES: BEGIN OF s_itm,
material TYPE /bi0/oimaterial,
docnum TYPE /bi0/oidocnum,
END OF s_itm.
DATA: wa_itm TYPE s_itm,
t_itm TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF s_itm.
LOOP AT DATA_PACKAGE.
SELECT material
docnum
FROM /bic/aDSO_itm
APPENDING TABLE t_itm
WHERE docnum = <comm_structure>-docnum.
endloop.
IF NOT t_itm[] IS INITIAL.
SORT t_itm ASCENDING BY docnum.
DELETE ADJACENT DUPLICATES FROM t_itm COMPARING docnum.
ENDIF.
Now write this below code in the update routine of 0material in the transformation from 2lis_2_HDR.
CLEAR RESULT.
READ TABLE T_itm INTO WA_Itm WITH KEY
DOCNUM = comm_structure-docnum.
BINARY SEARCH.
IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
RESULT = WA_itm-material.
ENDIF. -
Help needed to set up printer connected to Airport (Bonjour)
I've successfully installed the printer (HP 3745v) when I connect it via USB. Leopard found the correct printer driver and I was able to print okay. However, when I think plug the USB cable for the printer back into the Airport Express and the Mac sees that same printer as Kind "Bonjour" and I install it, the Mac doesn't automatically choose the printer driver. It leaves you to figure it out. I cannot find the same driver as I did when connecting the printer directly to the Mac. I'm thinking this is a bug. Anyone able to get this to work. Please reply to [email protected]
Mine is plugged into my Airport and it picked it up automatically, but I had to ADD the printer first. Then it found the right drivers and all was ok. It did take awhile though for it to find the drivers.

Note :- cfusion is the service name that has to be started.
2) In case to start the JRun

My mac the other day just froze so i rebooted it and the login screen did not come up i got a weird error message and at the end it said Panic:Were hanging here... i tried to boot my tiger disc using the c key nothing happen i tried going into single user mode did not work the alt option worked but it gave me a screen that said welcome to open firmware making me reboot or shut down the mac and it will not start in safe mode?
Hello and Welcome to Apple Discussions.
Unfortunately it sounds like you're suffering Kernel Panics. Disconnect all external devices except for an Apple keyboard and mouse; remove any RAM you've installed in recent days too. Then try again. Add one item at a time until you identify which one causes the issue.
Do let us know how you get on.
cheers
