Help needed with particle analysis (getting the pixel area of each particle)

Hello,
I am using a camera vision system to capture particles which works fine.
I am using particle analysis tool to get the number of particles and it also gives particle report.
I want the area of each particle HOWEVER the problem is that currently it does it only for 3 or 4 particles which is not good, and the number of particles can vary in each frame.
also please it currently gives pixel measurements can i change this to mm cm?

hi,
sorry my mistake - it sees all the particles but the particle analysis only gives the area of seeds in the frame. they should bea way to store the previous particle area.
it will be clear what i am trying to do when you open the vi. i simply want the area of all the particles that pass through the camera system and put them in their appropriate size range.
for example all the particles from 200-400 pixels. the final value can be shown in a table or just a variable.

ROW_NUMBER returns a unique number for every row. If you have n rows, it will return the integers 1 through n, without skipping or duplicating any numbers, so you can be confident it will return the number 1 on exactly 1 row.
ROW_NUMBER (PARTITION BY area ...) means that a separate set of integers, each starting with 1, will be returned for each distinct value of area.
ROW_NUMBER (PARTITION BY area ORDER BY idv DESC) means that the numbers will be assigned in DESCending order by idv. The row with the highest idv for each area will be the row for which ROW_NUMBER returns 1.
The LAST function, as demonstrated by Solomon, is a good thing to have in your toolbox, but you have to code a somewhat complicated expression for each column (except the GROUP BY column, and the column that determines the order). When you need to pick an entire row, I find it easier to use ROW_NUMBER.
Also, ROW_NUMBER can easily be adapted if your needs change. Where I work, people are always saying things like "Remember that query you wrote for me, that returns the latest row fro each area? Can you make it return the latest 5 rows?" or "It truns out idv isn't unique. Can you make it return all the rows with the highest idv?" It's easy to change the ROW_NUMBER solution to do things like that.

Ask the store for a local Macintosh Users Group / Club... maybe someone there can help you. You might check pawn shops in the area for a machine that has a full set of disks. Apple will sell/mail you a set. I don't know of anyplace to legitimately download them... For what its worth any commercial (e.g. full retail version) install of OS X on disk should work for your machine.

Okay so i went out and I bought a yamaha 630BL reciever, a digital coaxial s/pdif, and a 3.5mm phono plug to fit perfectly to my XFI Extreme Music
-The audio plays fine and reports as a PCM stream when I play it normally, but I can't get dolby digital or DTS to enable for some reason eventhough I bought the DDL & DTS Connect Pack for $4.72
When I click dolby digital li've in DDL it jumps back up to off and has this [The operation was unsuccessful. Please try again or reinstall the application].

I also have a question on 5. and Vista 64
-When I game I normally use headphones in game mode or 2. with my headphones, the reason for this is if I set it on 5. I get sounds coming out of all of the wrong channels.
Now when I watch movies or listen to music I switch to 5. sound in entertainment mode, but to make this work properly I have to open CMSS-3D. I then change it from xpand to stereo and put the slider at even center for 50%. If I use the default xpand mode the audio is way off coming out of all of the wrong channels.
How do I make 5. render properly on vista

We ended up getting iTunes cleanly uninstalled and were able to re-install without issue. All is now mostly well.

help needed with itunes please tryed to move my itunes libary to my external hard drive itunes move ok and runs fin but i have none of my music or apps or anything all my stuff is in the itunes folder on my external hard drive but there is nothing on ituns how do i get it back help,please

(Make sure the Music (top left) library is selected before beginning this.)
If you have bad song links in your library, hilite them and hit the delete button. Then locate the folder(s) where your music is located and drag and drop into the large library window in iTunes ( where your tracks show up). This will force the tunes into iTunes. Before you start, check your preferences in iTunes specifically under the"Advanced" tab, general settings. I prefer that the 1st 2 boxes are unchecked. (Keep iTunes Music folder organized & Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library). They are designed to let iTunes manage your library. I prefer to manage it myself. Suit yourself. If there is a way for iTunes to restore broken links other than locating one song at a time I haven't found it yet. (I wish Apple would fix this, as I have used that feature in other apps.) This is the way I do it and I have approx. 25,000 songs and podcasts and videos at present. Hope this helps.

In the fields above the text field, the client needs to fill in some info such as name, email telephone number etc.
But the problem is when ill get the messages. Only the text from the large text field is there.

Need to get the exact time of each picture that I saved ( maybe as a excel sheet or word )

I am actually a new labview user. I have successfullly been able to save pictures. But unfortunately I got two problems. The first one is that I need to use two cameras at the same time. The program I have so far is for one camera. The second problem is that I need to get the exact time for each picture saved in the profile.
I would appreciate if someone can help me with that. Anyway plz find attached the subvi.

Hi Abbas,
First, I notice that you are using IMAQ for USB. Is there any particular reason you are not using IMAQdx? This is the newer, supported driver for use with USB cameras that supports acquiring from multiple cameras at the same time.

And also this example (if you camera does not support acquiring from multiple cameras at the same time):

As for timestamps, some cameras output them with the frame timing. However, usually this is not a feature of USB cameras; if it is not, you can look into timing options within LabVIEW. Try playing with the property node for IMAQdx and the Acquisition Attributes.

Help Needed With A Java Installation

Hello,
I'm beyond being a novice with regards to Java. To be quite honest, I don't have the time right now to learn the language, nor do I have the need for anything other than what I am about to ask. I say this upfront to avoid unfriendly comments from people who may criticize my "laziness", NOT to sound disrespectful to those who post or answer questions in this forum.
With that said, here's my question...
I have a Sun/Cobalt RaQ4i server. I'd like to run a few free license Java games that I found on a website. The problem is, RaQ appliances do not ship with Java installed. I've been looking for some way to get it on my server for a few days now, with little luck. I've searched the Java help forums, the Sun/Cobalt forums and a few other help sites such as www.raqzone.com. (...which is why laziness is in quotes up there.) I did find this page... "http://developer.cobalt.com/java/java.raq.php". I have now installed both, the package and the update, on the server. However, the applet still does not run. I don't need the JSP feature, as my site is done in ASP. I don't know what a servlet is, but thought it might be similar to an applet, and would do the trick. *?* Apparently, I was wrong. Can ANYONE tell me what I need to do to get the desired results when I try to run a Java applet on my Cobalt RaQ?? I'd also be willing to be a fee to have it installed... correctly, of course! :)

Assuming you're running Solaris, you can download the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) from http://java.sun.com/
One of the provided programs is appletviewer, which you will be able to use to run applets if they are on your local machine. I'm not entirely sure about Solaris, but the JRE may also install the Java Plugin to your browser so you can view applets in the browser.
Apologies if this was already mentioned in the link you provided - registration/login is required, so I didn't read it.

Help needed with Elements 5.0

Trying to Edit photos. Click on Edit icon and I get the Message " Attempt to Access invalid address". Click OK get message "Unable to connect to editor application.
What is the problem? I have unenstalled to program and reinstalled, I have tried repairing from CD. Nothing works. Please help.

I have the disc and re-installed a couple of time. No positive result. PSE 09 which I bought thereafter is giving a lot of problems also!!!

Help needed with BBDM 5.0.1 IP Modem

Hi I was happily connecting thru the Net via the IP Modem in BBDM ver 5.0.1 all this while. Only this happened yesterday. Accidentally during the connection, my 9500 was disconnected from the USB cable. From that moment on, I cannot access the Net using the IP Modem feature. Tried to reboot the laptop as well as the 9500 but now all I get is the connecting message and then a pop up saying there is a hardware failure in the connecting device (or modem) ie the BB 9500.
I even uninstalled BBDM 5.0.1 and reinstalled ver 5.0 and also updated back to 5.0.1 - same story. I can still access the Net via the BB browser etc
