I own a Nvidia FX 5200 graphics card on my Mac and there are two connection ports one thats DVI an another one that looks just like DVI except it has a few more pins and i reallyy need the dual monitor feature, can someone please tell me how i could use that port?

The second port is an Apple Display Connector ( DVIUSBpower ). Adapters for ADC->DVI were common till Apple stopped using ADC, your best bet for locating one is eBay ( though they are scarce and command top dollar )

HELP! Graphics Card

I have an Apple Powermac G5 Single 1.8. I need a new video card to better run Motion 2 with, and I found a decent one for a good price, but wasn't sure if it would work with my Mac.
It's the ATI RADEON 9800 XT 256MB.

Is this card that you've found labeled as being a Mac card? If it's not, it won't work. Mac video cards require a different on-card ROM than the PC versions do.

Help making holiday cards -- do I have a bug in iPhoto 11?

I'm attempting to make holiday cards with photos and text but when I go to 'buy' it says I am using default text and then says I have text or photo boxes that are empty that MUST be filled before I finish. Can someone help?

Each card theme has text boxes that you can fill in or not with text of your choice. If you don't put in any text you will get that error message. The cards have different layout, some with text boxes and some without. Check to see what layout you're using and select the one without a text box or enter text into the text box.

I've done everything, removed key files in my /lib/prefs folder. Hard reset the AP card, SMC reset, Blown away "locations" etc... still no good.
I don't keep track of all the updates so I'm wondering if recently there was an update that could have done this and if so, how do I go back without any net access?

So not to have to go thru the expense of purchasing another card right now I'd like to take my TimeCap and put it on my MacPro. I know I can't connect to the internet this way but I can make a priv network and using my laptop, change over to that network to share files, so....
Can I make a VPN between the two networks? i.e.,
My laptop that is wireless to my Verizon DLS router AND
My priv network on my MacPro....
Just to xfer files so I don't have to keep changing networks on my MacBook Pro?

NVIDIA Quadro NVS4200M Optimus technology (1GB)
6 GB PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz SODIMM Memory (2 DIMM)
128GB Solid State Drive, Serial ATA
Intel WiFi Link 1000
It's a really good machine, but unfortunately I am having problems making it work with Ubuntu 11.04. I am a long-term Linux user, a python developer and a supporter of open source software, I cannot use Windows for my purposes and I need help to enable my vide card drivers.
I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 11.04 on my system, and updated all packages. I then installed the ltest Nvidia drivers available, and ensured that Optimus is disabled in the BIOS. After rebooting, nvidia-settings complained that my system isn't configured to rnu the drivers and I must run nvidia-xconfig so I did.
After running nvidia-xconfig, my system wouldn't want to run Xorg, and stayed in terminal mode. I checked the xorg log and found this:
(!!) More than one possible primary device found
(II) Primary Device is:
(EE) No devices detected.
Fatal server error:
no screens found

I am running version 1.7 ov xorg, so this should be fixed. I tried to nvidia-xconfig --enable-all-gpus but it still wouldn't work.
The Ubuntu market is now at about 15 million Desktop users, and many more with other Linux distributions, I think Lenovo would greatly benefit by contributing to Ubuntu and helping the software be compatible with the hardware they sell.
Could someone please help me with this?

This will not help, but I recently tried 11.04 on a
Z560 (with just intel graphics) and had no luck
getting it to work. Previous versions work fine.
Is there any other linux distro that will serve your purpose?

Please help! memory card password! I never set one...

I plugged in my memory card from my broken nokia e71 into a new nokia e6 and it asks for a password! I never set a password to begin with! is there some default code to override this? I really need my pictures off this sd card. please help.

Although you haven't knowingly set a password AFAIK it is possible to change it to new one using the remote lock feature.

Urgent Help on Smart Card

I have a javacard application which write and reads to/from the smartcard.My card supports Javacard 2.2.1 and GP 2.1.1 ,but from my experience it seems no supporting GP( it is not working GPShell sowing 6d00 error and also giving error under mode_211)
I converted my class file to a cap file .I was using Netbeans.Now i changed to Eclipse (galileo_jee) with Eclipsejcde plugin.I can convert to cap file from eclipse.I use compiler options as :
Compiler Compliance level 1.3
Source code compatibility 1.3
Generated .class file compatibilty 1.1
We can convert to a cap file through eclipse .I can run GPShell script (Ant script) using Eclipse and load the cap file to the smart card, but when i ran the following script .I am getting 6d00 error .
So I moved to Smart card shell(SC Shell):
It contains some javascript function to install the cap file to smart acrd and read some messages from FORUM that some peoples have successfully installed using Smart Card Shell.When i tried to install my cap file it is loading the file to smart card(I am able to see) ,but giving an error message at the end of install method as 6A80.The APDU trace i have pasted next message.Continue....

1) I have read from some forum that if we replace the import.cap with original import.cap file,it will solve the probs.Eventhough it is not the rite method , i thought i can use it now.My import.cap file will be having the content as below.

2) Checked the applet and package AIDs are same.

Help with Smart Card (CAC) reader installation

Need help connecting my smart card reader to my Mac Book Pro. Either using Fire Fox, Explorer using Parallels with windows XP, or safari. I downloaded all the documentation from the Army AKO and still have problems with my Card reader.

Help! Gift card issue!

Hey guys, first post here! Sky were offering a £100 homebase voucher for new customers so I signed up, and as I have just moved house I threw a house warming party and the card has disappeared. Help With Credit Cards In Incoming Payments

Hi All,
SAP Business One 8.81 PL05
When I am creating an Incoming payment and I have selected my invoices and then select the payment means and put in my bank transfer amount. I then go to the credit card tab and put through a claim there which goes to a claims GL account. I put in the Credit Card No. 1 and in Valid Until I put 12/12 I fill in the rest of the fields and when I try and add the Incoming payment I get the following error.
Date deviates from permissible range [Journal Entry - Rows - Value Date][line: 3] [Message 173-11]
If I take out the Credit Card part of the payment the Incoming Payment can be added therefor the problem must be with the Valid Until field. I have tried various different dates in there and still receive the same error.
Under my Credit Card Payment Method I have created on called Claims and set it to Voucher Date Of Receipt with the following fields. From 1 To 31 On Day 1 Months + 12
Could somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The posting date is current date and due date is current date as is document date.
All posting periods are unlocked.
If I take out the Credit Card part the Incoming Payment gets added without any errors. Therefor I think my posting periods are fine.

Help with Business Cards

By using one of the templates I have created my business card in ONE of the template slots. Now, how do I get my card to apply to the whole page? Note: I have gone to the site recommended in a previous post:

Sorry, but that makes no sense to me. When I click "select all" the entire sheet is selected, not just my card. I cannot find any way to select just my card to duplicate and drag. I can select portions of my card (text boxes, pictures, etc.) but have to drag them individually. How can I select just the one card in its entirety and duplicate it to the whole page.
Surely, there has to be an easy way. Heck, I'd take a hard way at this time. By the way, isn't there any way to use a blank template rather than trying to change everything around?

As a bit of background: I opened one of the business card templates, then made all of my changes to one card and saved it. That gave me the one card on the sheet that I created and nine cards that were created from the original template.
I was able to partially follow your instructions. I selected a single object, hit command+A, went to Arrange>Group and drug my card to one of the other positions. What I ended up with is my card superimposed on top of the card that was created in the template. If I tried to use the delete key, ALL cards were deleted, including the one I created. Also, my created card would not fit into the template slot. Lastly, how do you lock the cards?
I'm sorry to be so difficult, but this is becoming a very complex issue. Thank you for your help. I hope you have some other ideas that I can try.
