Help on P.Req Enhancement

Hi...Everyone,
i have a problem in Purchase Requisition Enhancement.The problem is When i create a p.Req with some items, then i went into that one in change mode.i was trying to add a copy of items into that one. According to the requierment if the asset no is same it will trigger a message. It's working fine if i was in the same screen in item detail.But when i was in different item detail screen,it's not showing error and the screen going to display mode but i want to display the item detail screen where the error was. where and in which exit i have to write the to handle this error.

Use Userexit EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_005.
in CMOD,extend the MEREQ001 project & use the above exit.

I have been using RoboHelp x5 since 2005. For this year's
budget meeting I have to provide options/cost comparison on other
tools that are available. One thing that is of crucial importance
is that my background is not in computer/technical (no can do code,

If you're an experienced RoboHelp user and happy with the
output that you're getting with it then I would question the
benefit of switching to another help authoring tool. This may be
necessary in some circumstances —- for example, if you need
to output your help content in a format that RoboHelp does not
support, such as Microsoft Help 2.0 -— but for the most part
the time and effort required to learn the new tool and convert your
existing content for use with it will outweigh the benefits of
switching to it.
Here are a few notes on the tools you listed.

I see little or no mention of these tools in any of the
Help-related forums that I frequent. This isn't necessarily a bad

help authors are using them. I'd expect the cheaper of these tools
to provide few or no editing facilities, and in some cases they may
be designed to perform a single, very specific function, such as
compiling a set of existing HTML files into a .chm file.

operations across a set of HTML files and compiling them into a
.chm file or Help 2.0 file. It provides no facilities for creating
and maintaining your topic content, however, so you should really
only view it as a potentially useful add-on to RoboHelp.

F4 help for the field enhanced in IT 21 - Urgent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have enhanced IT 21 with a new field called "Country of citizenship" in custom include CI_0021.
For this i have assigned LAND1 as the domain and the data element. The value table for this is
T005. but the problem is i am not able to get any value in the F4 help for this field in PA30 screen
for IT 21. Please help me in solving this issue. its very urgent.

Need help in HR - CATS enhancements

Hello everyone,
I have a requirement where in i have to use a field that is not availaable in cats0003 enhancement's fuction exit import/table fields.The field is catsd-day# 's.I have to validate on these catsd-day01....fileds which are not available in the function exit.I have seached for similar fields in the structure that are present in exit.but could not find any.
Can some body help me in knowing how do we do the validations if we have to validate on screen field/structure fields like these one.

Help on removing a enhancement implementation

Hi all,
I created an enhancement. The enhancement has no code in it. It was created by error. It is not in any change request. I tried to recreate the enhancement with an empty core, but the system always tells me that it already exists. How can fix this? I do not want the enhancement anymore but when I activate a new development the enhancement is in the list of inactive objects.

Help - T42p and Lenovo Enhanced Port Replicator does not external monitor

T42p Win Xp SP2 2GB Memory ATI Mobility Fire GL T2
I had an old style port replicator that supported my ThinkVision 17" flat panel monitor. The port replicator died and I got a replacement - Lenovo Enhanced port replicator. If I go to the Control panel/Display it now shows 3 monitors and when I try to enable #2 or #3 it takes the extend my desktop setting but when you press the identify button it only recognizes #1 (my T42). My external monitor is blank..............any ideas where to start?

No, I could not get help from any place. I did some research on my own and realized that the Lenovo port replicator (with Lenovo name on it) is actually theTargus ACP50 which is sold as a universal port replicator. The difference is that the Lenovo unit has a driver specific to Lenovo. I even went to Targus website and download their latest “generic” driver. The driver worked with the Lenovo computer fine, but still does not resolve the issues that you and I see. So I concluded that it is the port replicator crappy design.

I have designed one Utility program which updates the data from One database table to another database table.
This Utility program runs every day through Job over night.
So I wanted to give one option to my client so that if they perforn some action by pressing one button, i wanted to display the records which are updated to database table yesterday night.
Can you pleae help me on this.Is it possible to go ahead with ALV Grid ?.

There can be many possible ways of doing it. What my understanding is you want to display the entries which were updated by the job in previous run.
1. check the table you are updating has any date and time signature or not, if yes select that data based on date and time signature and display in ALV.
2.Before updating the tables by Job data must be in some table. Save that internal table as file in application server and when you want to display it , read the file and display it in ALV.
3. create another custom table with extra date and time signature and update them also with same data as what done by job. then while you want to display the same to user read this table to display them.
4.As told earlier read from spool.
You need to decide what you want depending on the conditions at ur end.

HELP!?! Enhanced podcast images out of sync!!

I created an enhanced podcast using GarageBand and adding cover art for each track.
When I play the file in VLC player or Winamp, the images show up correctly, exactly the way they should.
But when I download the podcast on my iPod touch, the images are out of sync. There will be tracks that are supposed to have cover art, but instead display the Podcast's default image, and then the cover art for the previous track shows up late, on the wrong track.
Again, to be clear, there in nothing wrong with the file that is up download - the artwork displays correctly. It is when it is downloaded through iTunes (on an iPhone/iTouch) that the images display incorrectly - and these two are the platforms that enhanced podcasts take advantage of.
What could be the problem??

I don't know if this is the same thing, but I had a problem with footage from my XL1s. The strange thing, on the timeline, the audio and video tracks were of the same length, but when playing the time line, the video lagged the audio by 2 or 3 seconds. It turned out that the 'problem' wasn't real. The computer was under heavy load and apparently was simply slow in processing and displaying the video image. When I rebooted the computer and ran only FCP, the same clips played back perfectly in sync.

Help! How to enhance video quality to catch thieves?

My phone was stolen the day before yesterday in China. Caught 2 female theives doing the pocket-picking thing under CCTV camera. And I recorded the footage with my camera. Wish to get a closer look at their faces, cuz the local police isnt gonna do anything...
Do anyone know how to do tricks about improving the video quality???
I do wanna catch those bad theives, wanna do it so badly...

You can use sharpening tools like Unsharp Mask. You can use third party up-rezzing tools to increase size with better quality.
But, realistically, given you only have a camera recording of a video screen of the CCTV, it's very unlikely you'll ever extract much meaningful detail from it. Don't believe TV shows, image enhancement is not really so advanced.
Personally, I'd just extract the best still frame of their faces you can find, then use Photoshop to zoom and enhance as much as you can with Unsharp Mask.

Help regarding a new enhancement

We got a new requirement stating that we need to have a link in user interface .So that when the manager clicks on that links we should display the users details like firstname,lastname,email for whom he is the manager in a table format.

I suggest you create a custom Tabbed User form that could be assigned to managers.
You could create a copy of the existing one and start tinkering from there.

How can I replace a standard search help in SRM 7.0 as enhancement?

Hi experts.
In SRM 7.0, Shopping Cart, Account tab - when using search help for the Cost Center field, a search help 'KOST' is called in the backend system.
I need to replace this functionality with a call to a local search help.
Being newbie in WebDynpro, I expected to be able to make this change in the Context field, search help attribute as an enhancement, but that was not possible.

I tried the proposed solution with no luck.
The problem is, that the standard program is dynamically accessing the attributes of the field I deleted and then I got a short-dump
The solution was however quite simple, when I first had the idea.
If SAP can access a screen field dynamically adding a search help, then I probably could do the same.
So I created a enhancement post exit in view method "WDDOMODIFYVIEW" with this code:

A/R Extractor, Validation, and Enhancement......

Hello ALL
Need HELP in undesrtanding A/R extraction and validation. Also need your help in LOGIC for Enhancement:
1. We use 0FI_AR_4 to pull in data into ODS. As a Std. BC data surce and cube, the mapping includes 0DOC_NUMBER
     (SD Document Number) mapped to the field "VBELN". When I check the data in the ODS, I do see records with values
     for 0DOC_NUMBER. However, when I check the table "BSID" (data source table for 0FI_AR_4, I don't see any of the
     values. So can some pone please tell me where am I going wrong in validating the values?? How can I proceed?
2. What does "VBELN" correspond to....? Assuming it to be "Sales Order Number", I tried to check these values in the SD
     tables - VBAP and VBAK. Both the tables do not have these Document Numbers....! So I am not sure of what this
     Doc. Number represents? Is it "Invoice Number"...? How can I validate the SD Doc Number (VBELN) that is coming
     from 0FI_AR_4 with SD Tables? Which table(s) should I check??
3. The A/R datasource needs to be enhanced to bring the Sales org; Division, Dist. Channel. I am hoping to do this in CMOD
     by appending the extract structure. I was hoping to match the "SD Doc Number" (VBELN) coming from 0FI_AR_4 to VBELN
     in the table "VBAP" & "VBAK" and then get the Sales org, Div and Dis Chan for matching records. Does this sound right?
     But since I am unable to match the value of VBELN in any of the tables (BSID, VBAK, VBAP), I don't know how this logic
     would work....? What would be the logic to grab the 3 fields (Sales Org, Div, & Dis Chan)?? Will I need to bring the
     Line Item number from BSID (field VPOS2)..?
Can someone pelase suggest the answer to each of the above..... as they are related to one another. Suggestion on the
LOGIC for enhancement would be greatly HELPFUL.....!!

FI -AR and SD is integrated modules. Any transction done by the SD it will effect in FI also.
May'be in R/3 side they are not integrated properally just check it once in FI functional guys.

To send a mail when a new PO is created.
can be achievd by using class cl_bcs and BADI method
IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~POST of BADI ME_PEOCESS_PO_CUST.
We can aslo configure the OUTPUT TYPE as MAIL in transaction NACE. This is usually doen by the Functional consultant.

Whenever we enter data such as Emp Firstname, emp.lastname,empdate of birth, in pb10 this data should check in PAP database tables and if he is previous employer of the that company it should give his Emp.id.
And also it should check how many months back he worked in this company if that period is less than r equal to 3monthes
We have to send the message that he is not eligible for attending interview. if that is greater than 3 months he is eligible for attending interview.

Hi,
I am not sure of the exact solution, but think that the problem may be because of the LDB's. Applicant database uses PAP LDB whereas employee database uses PNP LDB. May be after picking up the data from applicant database you can do a select on PA0002 table on the fields first name, last name and date of birth to check whether the employee worked in the company earlier or not. Just check if this helps.
