Hello,
I faced the same issue while working with SharePoint On-line 2013. The possible reasons could be:-
1) Please remove logging/logs from your workflow business logic. Means, don't use "Log to History list" action as it hampers the performance of workflows.
2) Please check "Workflow History" list. It's is a  hidden list (https://<tenant-URL>/lists/workflow history). Check whether it has exceeded the threshold limit (may be 5000 items). If yes, then first try to clear/empty the Workflows
History list using some console application or by creating different views and manually deleting the list items.
Please remember "Workflow Timer Job" will not work, as it only deletes the workflow associations and not the actual list items.

    Hello everyone.  I am getting this error when attempting to move minor workflow changes from mirror SharePoint development / production environments and hoping someone can help me.

    So basically I have taken an image of our single SharePoint server, Domain Controller, and a client and restored them to an OFFLINE development environment for the testing of workflow changes prior to production.  I've put quite a bit of time into one
    particularly and would like to export/import rather than re-created from scratch.
    I've successfully created the form template and imported.  This created the necessary list items nicely and the form appears to work as expected.  However, when attempting to import the .VWI file exported from dev SharePoint, I am getting the above
    error.  If I change the .VWI to .zip and remove the "workflow.xoml.wfconfig.xml" file, then re-zip and change the file extension back to .VWI I get a dialog that allows me to import, but I have to choose a new name and much of the related content
    is lost.  I need to be able to overwrite/merge the existing workflow with the import.  Any suggestions?
    One strange thing I ran into was during a test of an export/import from and to the exact same environment. If I simply export to .VWI, then import from .VWI with no changes, SAME everything I still get this error. Very weird. Hoping someone can shed some
    light on the subject. Thank you.

  • Need help with a workflow that will restrict resize to 720x540

    I need help constructing a workflow that will resize any image I choose to 720x540. I want this to be restrictive to this size, in other words I don't want 720x468 or etc. I have tried this too many times, will no success so now I am reaching out for help. HELP. Once I have correct resized an image as needed I want to change its format and save a copy.

    Need your help in customizing APINVAPR workflow.
    Please help in clarifying below point.
    How APINVAPR is mapped to invoice approval process,for PO we use document type form to map the POAPPRV workflows when we customize we will map the custom workflow XXXPOAPPRV to make our workflow work.
    Similarly how will we customize APINVAPR and map the workflow, pls let me know your thoughts.
    My requirement is to customize the APINVAPR workflow and increase the escalation days, during the Invoice Approval Process/Escalate Document Approval activity escalation will happen in 5 days, i need to increase it by 60 days.
    If anyone have worked in similar requirement, please help.

  • Failed to load this workflow. To correct this problem, restart Sharepoint Designer

    I installed Sharepoint Server 2013 SP1, Workflow Manager 1.0 Refresh, 
    Service Bus 1.1, Sharepoint Designer 2013 SP1 (15.0.4569.1503).
    Than I install sandbox solution which contain workflow 2013. This workflow I can open in SPD2013 SP1. But
    after than I publish this workflow it can't open more. Appearing error: "Failed to load this workflow. To correct this problem, restart Sharepoint Designer". After restart SPD error appers again. Clearing SPD cache not help me
    It seems me a bug of SPD2013 SP1?!

  • Help with Automator workflow!

    I work in graphics at a newspaper. I schedule items for publication with iCal. I want to set up an action that will move documents from one folder to another when the event they are associated with in iCal is passed.
    For example. I have a calender called legals. I schedule the legals to run on a certain date, repeat them as required and then attach the document to the event so it is right there handy when I get ready to publish them. I have a folder called "legals" where all of these files are kept. I find this a wonderful system. What I want for Automator to do is to move the files to a folder called "old legals" when the event has passed in iCal. I am not very familiar with Automator but have been trying to do this for a while and can't figure it out. Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.

    If you can identify which files need to be moved on what days, you can still do it. Somehow, you have to name them, or organize them so that the computer can identify which ones need to move.
    There is no "mind-reader" action to figure out which files you're thinking about.
    Once you've established a method by which you can identify the particular files, instead of 1) and 2), use Find Finder Items, search in the legals folder, and set the criteria by which you can find the appropriate items.
    Make a different workflow for each particular set of items.

    I need help convincing my workflow administrator on Illustrator PDF presets.
    I work at a company which prints folding cartons, pressure sensitive labels, and film packaging. Esko Automation Engine 12 is our primary workflow. We use PDF files saved directly out of Illustrator as the primary file format. At times, the size of an art file can get fairly bloated from scaled images, effects, transparency, etc. The workflow and Ilustrator have a hard time dealing with the file size. It has been suggested to use the "export" function under the File Menu and save the art file as a "normalized PDF". I honestly believe Distiller isn't even remotely involved when you do this. I tried to make the case to use the settings in the dialog box which appears when you save a PDF out of Illustrator. I know for a fact that this dialog box isn't any different from what you see in Distiller. From my years of experience with Kodak Prinergy, I know things like bicubic downsampling, etc. will not hurt the file. The workflow administrator thinks otherwise. Can anybody point me in the direction of Illustrator PDF presets that would convince him otherwise?

    What is somewhat confusing in your post is your mentioning a capability to export PDF from the File Menu as a normalized PDF file. There is no such option in Adobe Illustrator, at least as it comes directly from Adobe. You may use the File=>Save As dialog to save the file as a PDF file, but PDF is not an option under File=>Export. Furthermore, in terms of the .joboptions provided by Adobe, there is no Normalized PDF joboptions settings.
    You mention Esko. Is it possible that you have one of Esko's products installed that provides proprietary plug-ins to Adobe Illustrator? If so, that may be the source of this Normalized PDF option. Maybe some other participant in the is forum knows more about that, but at Adobe, we don't (for better or worse).
    You mention problems with file bloat due to “scaled images, effects, transparency, etc.” Are you referring to the Illustrator .AI files or to PDF files created from same? If the issue is the .AI file size, the only thing you can do to fix that is to uncheck the save as compatible PDF file option when saving .AI. In terms of PDF files from Adobe Illustrator:
    (1)  Scaled images should not add anything to a PDF file size unless you take such images and attempt to upres them in Photoshop prior to creating PDF. There really is no benefit to be achieved by such upresing of the images; any competent RIP can do that itself just as well as Photoshop.
    (2)  Transparency only adds to the PDF file size if you create PDF with transparency already flattened, or what I would better describe as ruined. Flattening transparency often causes large raster bitmaps and/or very complex groups of vector objects to be created to simulate transparency in an opaque imaging model (such as is supported by PostScript).
    You obviously need to produce PDF that can be accommodated by the rest of your workflow. Since we don't know what that is and whether it conforms to current best industry practices, we cannot make an absolute recommendation for you.
    However, generally speaking, the most reliable PDF print publishing workflow would generally require that you create PDF/X-4 using the PDF/X-4 PDF preset from Adobe Illustrator (or for that matter, from InDesign as well). PDF/X-4 supports full ICC color management (including spot colors), the entire PDF imaging model, and live transparency.

    The only step in this SharePoint 2010 workflow is the impersonate step.
    Thus would you tell me what I can do to have the workflow run under different credentials?

    Hi,
    As the warning says, any actions within Impersonation step would be carried out under your credentials if you published the workflow. If you intended to just add a Step in the workflow, then use different icon that says Step (with down arrow). Impersonation
    step is used to modify the permissions on the item.
    Once you have this, the workflow will be executing under the credentials of whoever starts it. Hope it helps.

    If not, what happens  if you remove the Apple ID on the iPad and then set it in Airplane Mode (allow a couple of minutes at this point) followed by re-adding the Apple ID ?
    What, if any error messages are appearing on the Mac when you try to launch the App or Login to the iMessages server ?
    Is the Apple ID linked to an iCloud account ?
    In Messages 7 (Mountain Lion) this did not seem to be important but it seems it is in Mavericks/Messages 8

    In my frustration , amongst lots of open web pages tutorials and other useless information , I come across innocent looking link and software to installed called Genieo , which suppose to help with any router .
    Software ask for permission to install , and about 30 % in , my instinct was telling me , there is something not right . I stop installation . Delete everything , look for any
    trace in Spotlight , Library . Nothing could be find .
    Now , every time I open Safari , Firefox or Chrome , it will open in my home page , but when I start looking for something in steed of Google page , there is
    ''search.genieo.com'' page acting like a Google . I try again to get raid of this but I can not find solution .
    With more research , again using genieo.com search eng. there is lots of articles and warnings . From that I learn do not use uninstall software , because doing this will install more things where it come from.
    I do have AppleCare support but its to late to phone them , so maybe there some people with knowledge , how to get this of my computer

    Genieo definitely doesn't help with your router. It's just adware, and has no benefit to you at all. They scammed you so that they could display their ads on your computer.

  • My firefox crashes every 2-5 minutes for unknown reasons. its getting really annoying and i really need help with this :( i cant seem to get an ID on the crash report, its giving a different reason everytime.. i think. please help !

    i have many many crash reports and they all seem different. yet, whenever i search the support pages for help on those crash IDs it shows 0 results. alot of people are having the same problems, and i hope we ALL can get help on this. its getting really frustrating and annoying :(
