Problem in Delete Records

I want if server2 has delete record and server1 is updated same record. It should insert all information to server2 again.
How can I Set Priority server 1 if record delete from server 2 and Server1 has updated same record?
Thanks
Sadiq Usman

Are you using multi-master replication or standard snapshot replication? Can you explain in a little more detail how your replication environment is configured?

  • Problem When deleting record from database

    Hi ,
    I have a question. Firstly I'm using VB
    I have a problem about deleting any record from access database , That's the code I'm use it for add new item and it's work but it's not work when I tried to edit any rows " it's not want to Save" but work for add new Item.
    Try
    Me.Validate()
    Me.CustomerBindingSource.EndEdit()
    Me.CustomerTableAdapter.Update(Me.KonoDataSet.Customer)
    MsgBox("Update Successful")
    Catch ex As Exception
    MsgBox("Update Failed")
    End Try
    And That's my code for Deleting any record from database But it's not work and that's a problem.
    CustomerBindingSource.RemoveCurrent()
    CustomerBindingSource.EndEdit()
    Me.CustomerTableAdapter.Update(Me.KonoDataSet.Customer)
    Can anybody help me about that issue ?

    Hi kono20006000,
    Your issue seems really strange. I would recommend you make a troubleshooting.
    1.Made sure your code works with the single copy of the database. You could check if it scans hard drive for the database file name and check if it modifies dates on found files. You could check if you operate with the same database.
    2. Use the application update the record at the form_load event to see if it would work correctly.
    3.Check the table in update statement and the table in add statement.
    Best Regards,
    Edward

  • Problem with deleting record from the report.

    This is my first post here, just to let you know I just started playing with Apex.
    Here we go:
    I have a page with report where the link to the record I have changed with ULR to the javascript:
    javascript:doDelete(#RECORD_ID#)
    I have created javascript in the HTML Header of the page
    <script>
    function doDelete(id) {
    if (confirm("Are you sure you want to delete selected record?"))
    $x('P3_DEL_ID').value=id;
    doSubmit('DELETE');
    </script>
    and finally created a process for the page On Submit - After Computations and Validations.
    declare
    var_id number := :p3_del_id;
    begin
    commit;
    Delete from mytable where record_id = var_id;
    commit;
    end;
    I don't get error messages but record is not deleted.
    Thanks for help in advance.
    Robert

    Robert,
    That's the problem. With that type selected, change the value in the textbox to just: DELETE

  • Problem in deleting records in DB2

    From session bean method i have called DAO & Entity Bean to delete from some tables in DB2. But it is throwing Deadlock or Timeout exception and got rolledback. What could be the reason.
    When i comment out DAO part it is working fine. Is there any restriction to delete from DAO & Entity bean's in a single call. Clarify me and give some suggestions.

    May be the process is taking longer than the specfied time out for a transaction in the server. If you are using weblogic you can change the time out by modifying the <trans-timeout-seconds></trans-timeout-seconds> tag in the depolyment descriptor.

  • Deleting records from table MVER

    We are experiencing performance issues when adding data to table MVER.  We have data on there that is over 5 years old which could be deleted.  As we have not been able to find any standard program or process that carries out housekeeping on MVER we are considering writing an ABAP program to delete the records.   Has anyone had any problems when deleting records from MVER or does anyone know of any reason why we should not delete these records in this way ?

    Well, I wouldn't delet data from a standard SAP table based on information from the internete. I'd look at other alternatives.
    Are you maintaining custom indexes on this table?
    Are your database statistics up to date?
    Consider a databse re-org.
    I don't think simple inserts should cause a problem.

  • Delete Record server behavior problem

    Hi all!
    I'm such a painful situation, that I can't figure out, why my
    Delete
    Record form don't work as supposed.
    It seems all things work (also gives message "You have
    successfully
    deleted the article."), but the problem is
    that in the MySQL (5) database real deletion doesn't
    occure...
    I was walking along with very nice tutorial
    (www.adobe.com/devnet/dreamweaver/articles/php_blog2_11.html)
    if someone has time to think about...
    I have all the steps (from the tutorial) done multiple times
    and
    result... no real deletion, despite "successfully deleted"
    text :(
    with regards,

    Yeah! As always - if one is doing too much over and over,
    then it's too
    much of trouble.
    I used sample delete_art.php(premade by Marius) file instead
    of mine and
    it worked!
    If I was wondering what is different, then there was large
    amount of
    additional code in my file:
    In pre-made sample is 200 lines versus 242 in mine :(
    Differences(looked with Winmerge):
    MINE(not working): Working:
    (why my DW8 inserts session handling in this way?)
    1)
    $_SESSION['MM_Username'] = NULL;
    session_unregister('MM_Username');
    $_SESSION['MM_UserGroup'] = NULL;
    session_unregister('MM_UserGroup');
    $_SESSION['PrevUrl'] = NULL;
    unset($_SESSION['MM_Username']);
    unset($_SESSION['MM_UserGroup']);

  • Facing problem while deleting a child record in hibernate.

    I am trying to update a child records i have following scenario

    detail record set (having many to one assciation with master table cascade=all in .hbm.xml configuration file) ===> customerAccountsSet
    i do following steps to update a record
    1) get the customerInfo objetc from session successfully
    2) get the customerAccountsSet = customerInfo.getCustomerAccounts();
    3) traying to add a new customerAccount say customerAccount1 to be saved for the first time without primery key in it
    4) traying to update a customerAccount say customerAccount2 to be updated with primery key in it
    5) traying to add a delete customerAccount say customerAccount3 with primery key in it
    only step 5 is not executed properly as i can still see the deleted record in db , although save and update steps have been successfully completed in db.
    can anybody tell me whats going wrong here.code for steps 2,3,4,5 is as follows in the same order
    2)Set customerAccountSet = (Set) customerInfo.getCustomerAccounts();
    3)customerAccountSet.add(customerAccount);
    4)customerAccountSet.add(customerAccount);
    5)customerAccountSet.remove(customerAccount);

    Hi Nitesh,
    1) Java stack should be up while trying to connect to R/3 backend.
    2) You can check the JCOs by doing the following:
                           Type the following url   http://<server name>:<port number>
                           Click on Webdynpro Console
                           Enter the user name and password.(You need the system admin right on the EP to do the same)
                           You can find the JCOs.
    3) Better you contact the basis guy who had created the JCOs earlier and get the JCOs tested.
    Hope it helps.
    Regards.

  • Getting Problem after Deleting a record from Record Store

    I am trying to create a simple application for mobile device. This application storing some records. I used RMS for this. These records i show in a list. But i tried to show list of records after deleting any record then list shows only prior records of deleted records n then shows exception as
    Recordsjavax.microedition.rms.InvalidRecordIDException
    The code i written as follows
    For storing data
    public void storeExercise(String EName, String Etime)
    try
    //System.out.println("AAAA");
    recordstore = RecordStore.openRecordStore("Test3",true);
    catch (Exception error)

    outputdataStream.writeUTF(Etime);
    outputdataStream.flush();
    outputRecord = outputStream.toByteArray();
    recordstore.addRecord(outputRecord, 0, outputRecord.length);
    outputStream.reset();
    outputStream.close();
    outputdataStream.close();
    zlist.append(EName+Etime, null);
    display.setCurrent(zlist);
    catch (Exception error)
    System.out.println("Exception in writing Records"+error);
    for getting records
    public void getExercise(ZimList zlist)
    this.zlist = zlist;
    try
    //System.out.println("AAAA");
    recordstore = RecordStore.openRecordStore("Test3",true);

    byte[] byteInputData = new byte[100];
    ByteArrayInputStream inputStream = new ByteArrayInputStream(byteInputData);

    //if (x != InvalidRecordID)
    recordstore.getRecord(x, byteInputData, 0);
    Ename = inputDataStream.readUTF();
    Etime = inputDataStream.readUTF();
    inputStream.reset();
    Final = Ename + Etime;
    System.out.println("Insert" + Final);
    zlist.insert(x-1,Final,null);
    inputStream.close();
    inputDataStream.close();
    //recordstore.closeRecordStore();
    catch (Exception error)
    System.out.println("Exception in Reading Records"+error);

    catch (Exception error)
    System.out.println("Exception"+error);
    And for deleting records I write
    public void deleteExercise(int index)
    try
    //System.out.println("AAAA");
    recordstore = RecordStore.openRecordStore("Test3",true);
    //recordstore.closeRecordStore();

    recordstore.getRecord(x, byteInputData, 0);
    if (x == index)
    recordstore.deleteRecord(index);
    //x--;
    inputStream.reset();
    break;
    inputStream.close();
    inputDataStream.close();
    catch (Exception error)
    System.out.println("Exception in Deleting Records"+error);
    Please Help me bcz i am new in j2me development n having no experience

    Ok ...
    When you add records in you store, the J2ME implementation create an ID.
    In the database, there is a list like that with ID <--> ]byte[ ]
    You can get back a record with a this ID.
    When you delete a record, it deletes the row. Lets say you have stored 3 records and that the ID are 1, 2, 3 ... if you delete the second one, then you have still in the database IDs 1 and 3.
    That's why you have this exception : you are iterating with an ID 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ... if one is delete there is no reorganization. (If you add an other record, it could be stored with ID 2).
    To read all the records, you should get a list of existing IDs. Take a look at the API. Here is a piece of code, that you work but I have not tested :
    RecordStore rs;
    RecordEnumeration re = rs.enumerateRecords(null, null, false);
    while (re.hasNextElement()) {
      String str = new String(re.nextRecord());
      System.out.println("Record: " + str);
    } Hope it will help you.

  • Deleting records from XML file--just a little problem

    Hi!
    My xml file has a simple form like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <AdressBook>
        <Name>Suzy</Name>
        <Lastname>Love</Lastname>
        <Adress>You street 22</Adress>
        <Phone>911</Phone>
        <Email>[email protected]</Email>
      </Record>
    <Record>
       <Name>Judy</Name>
       <Lastname>Goblin</Lastname>
       <Adress>Milkyway</Adress>
       <Phone>911</Phone>
      <Email>[email protected]</Email>
    </Record>
    </AdressBook>Now, whenever I delete a record from that file it leaves a remaining tag <Record /> on the loction were previous record was. How do I delete that remaining tag or better yet, how do I delete Record element in whole. I am using jdom.
    Here is the code I use to delete records:
    public void deleteRecordFromFile(Record r)
              Element root=doc.getRootElement();
              List records=root.getChildren();
              Iterator listIt=records.iterator();
              while(listIt.hasNext())
                   Element rec=(Element)listIt.next();
                   Record p=new Record("","","","","");
                   List recChildren=rec.getChildren();
                   Element e=null;
                   for( int i=0;i<recChildren.size();i++)
                        e=(Element)recChildren.get(i);
                        switch (i)
                        case 0: p.setName(e.getText()); break;
                        case 1: p.setLastName(e.getText());break;
                        case 2: p.setAddress(e.getText());break;
                        case 3: p.setPhone(e.getText());break;
                        case 4: p.setEmail(e.getText());break;
                        default: ;
                   if(p.equals(r))
                        rec.removeContent();
                        System.out.println("Record deleted!");
              writeToFile(filename);
         }Like you see above I use the method removeContent(), should I use some other method? I need to get rid of that remaining tags in order to make my editing of the records stored in there easier. I guess I could make a seperate routine that would clean my file of those tags, but I think that is just too much time consuming...or not?
    Please help me out here.:)

    You cannot remove the elements of a List while iterating over them without the risk of throwing a ConcurrentModificationException, whatever method you would use. So you can only delete the records in two steps: collect them all, and delete them afterwards.
    public void deleteRecordFromFile(Record r)
              Element root=doc.getRootElement();
              List records=root.getChildren();
              Iterator listIt=records.iterator();
              // Create a container for storing references to the records that will be deleted.
              ArrayList<Element> deleteList = new ArrayList<Element>();
              while(listIt.hasNext())
                   Element rec=(Element)listIt.next();
                   Record p=new Record("","","","","");
                   List recChildren=rec.getChildren();
                   Element e=null;
                   for( int i=0;i<recChildren.size();i++)
                        e=(Element)recChildren.get(i);
                        switch (i)
                        case 0: p.setName(e.getText()); break;
                        case 1: p.setLastName(e.getText());break;
                        case 2: p.setAddress(e.getText());break;
                        case 3: p.setPhone(e.getText());break;
                        case 4: p.setEmail(e.getText());break;
                        default: ;
                   if(p.equals(r))
                        // This record will be deleted.
                        deleteList.add(rec);
              // Delete all the records in deleteList.
              records.removeAll(deleteList);
              writeToFile(filename);
         }

  • Delete records in internal table

    Hi,
    I have two internal tables  itab1 and itab2.
    I need to delete records from itab1 comparing the data from itab2. I tried to use the read statement within the main table.
    My problem is itab2  and itab1 has multiple records and all the records need to be checked from itab2 with itab1 before deleting the records from itab1.
    itab1 and itab2 have a common field 'runid' between them.
    How can this be accomplished?
    Thanks,
    VG

    Venkat, inside a loop a IF SY-SUBRC NE 0 doesn't make sense because you are in the loop only after the condition in WHERE clause is satisfied (which means SY-SUBRC is always 0). Also you are missing another ENDLOOP.

  • Problem in Delete Time Quota Compensation

    Hi,
    There is a problem in Infotype- 416 (Time Quota Compensation) with subtype - Workmen SL Encashment.
    When I click on delete button, it goes in nexr screen - Delete Time Quota Compensation. From here, in Absence quotas, i want to delete 1 line item.
    There is a one problem in deleting this.. system shows the message Change before earliest retro. date 01.04.2009 acc. to control rec. to py area WK.
    Please let me know, what it is???
    Regards..

    What is the beginning date of the infotype record you are trying to delete?
    Please delete the payroll control record and re-create (by checking my prev message) so that the payroll period and retro period are in line with the start date of the IT.
    e.g. if IT record is 01.01.2009 - 31.12.2009 --> So create the payroll record for 01.2009 period and 01.2009 retro period. Make sure status is Rel for correction.
    As the infotype you're trying to delete belongs to a prior payroll period, control record acts as a shield to changes on this data since it is already used for a prior payroll calculation.

  • Problem in deleting the orders under Custom category.

    Hi friends,
            I am facing some problem in deleting the Orders which were created under custom category. In fact we are creating Intransits under Standard category "EI" as well as Custom Category "ZP". I am able to modify the intransits created under "EI" but when I tried to change or delete the orders created under Category "ZP", I am getting a messag triggered by BAPI as " Order can not be changed". atleast I need to delete the order if change is not possible. I am using the BAPI "BAPI_SLSRVAPS_CREATEINTRANS" to create intransits under "EI" and i am using the same BAPI with BADI implementation to "SAPAPO_DM_PO_CHANGE" to create intransits under "ZP". Based on the condition I am changing the am changing the category from EI  to ZP in the BADI.
           I am able to change or delete the orders created under the EI but when I tried to change or delete the orders under ZP its giving me a message as Order can not be changed.
           One more thing is If I go to Tcode /SAPAPO/RLCDEL trying to delete all the orders based on category. I am able to see all the orders under created under EI. If  I tried to delete the orders based on Custom category ZI it is giving me the message  as "No Orders exists in Live cache". But I am able to see the orders in tcode "SAPAPO/RRP3".
           Can any one help me out in making this done. Please help me out in this.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ramana.

    Hi Visu,
               I really appreciate your gr8 help. Hope you can understand my problem that I am not a SCM person. Still you are responding to my questions with great patience.
               Here what I found is I found the record in OM19 transaction in the object "/SAPAPO/OM_ORDER_EXT_STR". But the interesting is its giving me the GUID as blank . there is empty value in that field. where as the program "/SAPAPO/OM_DELETE_INCON_ORDERS" is asking for the "order GUID".
             can you help me out in finding the order guid and deleting this order.
    Regards,
    Ramana.

  • Delete record using multi select ...

    Hi All,
    I have a form associated with 4 reports region and retrieve report for that specific customer. In one report, i have option to delete the saved image by using multi selector check box (single or multiple) and hit the delete button. It works fine if there is no records for the other reports. i can upload image and delete record without any problem. As soon as I have records for other reports, multi selector does not work. when I try to delete, i get this error message -
    ORA-20001: Error in multi row delete operation: row= 13, ORA-01403: no data found, delete from "RATIS"."RTT_FILES" where "FIL_ID" = :p_pk_col
    Error multi row operation failed.
    but if I remove the records for the other report, it works again. I have only one process for multi delete in this page. Seems it is conflicting with the other reports when trying to delete.
    Can anybody help with this please?
    Thanks,
    Tajuddin

    Hi
    That depends if the other "reports" are actually tabular forms as well? If they are, see:
    http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=31517:163
    this explains how to set up more than one tabular form on a page.
    Otherwise, we would probably need to see your code to see what may be happening
