  • Pls Help! Drag and Drop problem, identical symbols acting differently - same code! WHY?

    In the attached file, I have a series of symbols that have a drag and drop command to change colour at different sections of a bullseye, and that are also text editable (html).
    However, some of the symbols get stuck and will not be moved after moving once or at all, and some get stuck once their text has been edited.
    I have poured over the code and it appears to be the same for each symbol - can anyone explain as to why this is happening?
    I also cannot now edit the text properly on the ipad (it is really fiddly to change between different symbols to edit their text -- is there maybe a better way to do this? A button to change between symbols to then edit their text, can you help with this too?)
    THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

    Hi, I think I undertsand what you mean now, so the code is as below, btu I am not sure what a handler is? but some of my risks still get stuck once the text has been changed on them:
    // Use for loop for attr
    // deleted  yepnope since you load with scropt loading
    // added pos for each symbol so we can replace them there.
    document.ontouchmove = function(e) {

  • Applet-Panel, background color and size problem

    I am writing an applet with simple form.
    Form is having 3 rows and 2 cols (label and textfield). Each row I want to display in different color. So I created each row with 2 separate panel (one for label and one for text field - of which I set the backgroung color).
    The total form is in one panel with grid layout (2 colmns).
    My problems are
    1)The space between label and text field (col width) can not be resized. I tried to use setSize but not giving any effect.
    2)Another problem is when I am seting the background color, the textfield is also changing the color (textfield I want to white color only). This does not have any effect on Choice
    3)The first label I wanted to use simple break but could not. I tried \n\t, \n, chr(13) + chr(10) etc but not getting any result so created separate panel.
    My code goes here:
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.applet.*;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    public class test1 extends Applet{
    protected TextField refnoTextField=null, payerTextField=null, amtTextField=null;
    protected Choice typeChoice;
    public void init() {
         /* The mainPanel layouts components with BorderLayout manager
              which will hold form and button panel */
         Panel mainPanel = new Panel(new BorderLayout());
         Panel taxformPanel=new Panel(new GridLayout(3,2));
         Label l;
         //panel for tax ref no label
         Panel refnoLabelMainPanel = new Panel(new FlowLayout(FlowLayout.LEFT));
    //here wanted to use simple line break but \n\t does not seems to work not even chr (10), chr(13)
    //so created separate panel (Payment Voucher Or \n\t Reference no.
         Panel refnoLabelPanel = new Panel(new GridLayout(2,1));
         l = new Label("Payment Voucher Or");
    l.setFont(new Font("Helvetica", Font.BOLD,10));
         refnoLabelPanel.add (l);
         l = new Label("Tax Reference No:");

    Please help,

    I do not want to go into detail, but there are some hints you can follow.
    I am talking about AWT, not swing, you should decide which one you will use and don't mix the two of them.
    If you want to run your applet in current browsers without requiring the java plugin, you should be aware, that most browsers support old versions of java and many convenient methods and classes are missing :-(
    So
    You can change the size of a label by putting it in a panel ( labelPanel ), whose layout is set to FlowLayout. Then you put in labelPanel another empty panel ( emptyPanel ), whose layout is set to null, and you set the width of the empty panel to whatever you want ( this is the gap between the label and the next component ), an the height to the least nonsero number possible, i.e. 1. Well, you can add to the labelPanel more components, if you wish. So, when you want a gap, use an empty panel with a fixed size.
    You cannot use line break in a label. You should place more labels in a panel instead. I am not sure if the direction of FlowLayout can be set to vertical, but very probably it can. If so, that is your solution. If not - see what other layout managers you have available, but make sure your choice belongs to java.awt ! BorderLayout allows you to use up to three labels (=> 3 lines). And if nothing fits your needs, ... write a layout manager.
    Well, hope I could help.

  • Crystal Report JRC and JNDI problem

    I need to convert one of our internal web application from using Crystal Report Server 10 RAS to using Crystal Report XI Java Component (JRC). I found several examples from SAP/BusinessObjects but am stuck with a database connectivity problem.
    The basic enviornment info:
    JBoss 4.0.3 SP1
    Crystal Report JRC XI
    Windows XP/Server 2003
    JDK 1.5.x
    MS SQL Server 2005
    The error I am getting is "Error finding JNDI name (xxx)", although the application is already using the same JNDI and was able to display data on the web.
    I added debug code:
                    Context initialContext = null;
                    try {
                        initialContext = new InitialContext();
                        DataSource ds = (DataSource) initialContext.lookup("java:MYAPP");
                        String t = ds.toString();
                        log.debug(t);
                    } catch (NamingException e) {
                        log.error(e);
    I was able to get the data source successfully. The actual report file uses JDBC with JNDI named as "MYAPP". When I call the viewer, it gives
    Error finding JNDI name (MYAPP)
    message.
    Any comment or help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    How are you setting your connection info?
    This is what we do:
    IConnectionInfo connectionInfo = new ConnectionInfo();
    PropertyBag propertyBag = new PropertyBag();
    propertyBag.put("JNDI Datasource Name", reportJndiName);
    propertyBag.put("Database DLL", DATABASE_DLL); // required!!! (but we don't actually provide a DLL, or even run in windows)
    connectionInfo.setAttributes(propertyBag);
    connectionInfo.setKind(ConnectionInfoKind.SQL);
    ConnectionInfos connectionInfos = databaseController.getConnectionInfos(null);
    IConnectionInfo oldConnectionInfo = connectionInfos.getConnectionInfo(0);
    databaseController.replaceConnection(oldConnectionInfo, connectionInfo, null, DBOptions._useDefault );

  • NEED HELP...FORMATING SIZE PROBLEM

    I've been succesfully building and formating projects that only lasted 30 minutes.
    I'm having some problems with my latest project (1 hour and 20 minutes)...
    I did compress with "90 minutes best quality".
    and when I import in dvdsp, the file size is 6 GB.
    Now it won't format into a blank dvd-R.
    I am kinda new at this and need to put it on a dvd for a client.
    Could somebody tell me what should I do ?
    Should I compress again or can I still burn it with another form of blank dvd?
    I need help...
    Thank you.

    Make sure to select A.Pack/Dolby (make sure that file is made) and use that in the project, not the .aif file

  • Crystal Report Viewer and border problems

    Post Author: catalinandrei00
    CA Forum: Deployment
    Hello there,    I've created an report and I've added borders for the fields in the report (Right click on the field > Format Object -> Border -> Choose for the 4 margins the line-style single). The report is correctly exported to different formats (.doc, .pdf, .xls). My problem is that when I display the report in an ASP.NET 2.0 page using an Crystal Report Viewer the report is correctly shown but the borders don't appear.My question is why the borders don't appear in the Crystal Report Viewer? Thanks for helping for solving this issue. It's very important.Catalin

    Hello catalinandrei00
    I have the exact opposite problem as yours.
    I am using integrated crystal reports with Visual Studio 2005 and I have put a Crystal Viewer on a web page.
    First I also had the same problem like yours and then in one of the post i found a solution for this. Hope it will work for you too. here it is :-
    Just remove the following line from your aspx page.
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    Now regarding my problem. My problems is that now i can view the borders and everything correctly in the viewer but when i try to print the report it automatically exports to Adobe first and BAM!!! the format disappears. Though if i export to word Doc format it export perfectly fine with all the borders and everything
    I hope some other reader will come to my rescue...pls HELP.

  • Need HELP with objects and classes problem (program compiles)

    Alright guys, it is a homework problem but I have definitely put in the work. I believe I have everything right except for the toString method in my Line class. The program compiles and runs but I am not getting the right outcome and I am missing parts. I will post my problems after the code. I will post the assignment (sorry, its long) also. If anyone could help I would appreciate it. It is due on Monday so I am strapped for time.
    Assignment:

    I don't know where to put if statements for if the points are the same and you need to prompt the user to put in a different 2nd point
    I don't know where to put in if statements for the special cases such as if the line the user puts in is a horizontal or vertical line (such as x=4.7 or y=3.4)

    Sorry guys, I was just trying to be thorough with the assignment. Its not that if the number is valid, its that you cannot put in the same coordinated twice.
    public class Line
         private double x = 0;
         private double y = 0;
         private double m = 0;
         private double x2 = 0;

              this.x2 = point2.getX();
              this.y2 = point2.getY();
              this.m = slope(point1, point2);
         public Line (Point point1, double slope)
              this.x = point1.getX();
              this.y = point1.getY();
         public double slope(Point point1, Point point2)//finds slope
              double m1 = (point1.getY() - point2.getY())/(point1.getX() - point2.getX());
              return m1;
         public String toString()
              double temp = this.x- this.x2;

              //y-y1=m(x-x1)
    public class Point2Line
         public static void main(String[]args)
              Point p = new Point(3, -3);
              Point x = new Point(10, 7);
              Line l = new Line(p, x);
              System.out.println(l.toString());
    }The problem is in these lines of code.
    public double slope(Point point1, Point point2) //if this method finds the slope than how would i use the the two coordinates plus "m1" to
              double m1 = (point1.getY() - point2.getY())/(point1.getX() - point2.getX());
              return m1;
         public String toString()
              double temp = this.x- this.x2;
              return this.y + " = " +temp + "" + "(" + this.m + ")" + " " + "+ " + this.y2;
              //y-y1=m(x-x1)
         }if slope method finds the slope than how would i use the the two coordinates + "m1" to create a the line in toString?

  • Browser Full width and height problem!!

    Hello,
    I want to develop a flash website.
    I have some background images. I want them to be filled the whole screen and also in center while seeing in the browser.
    I am able to make it into the whole screen. But while resizing the browser it is not holding into the center.
    Can somebody help on this please....
    Thanks in advance....

    Hello,
    You have to add a resize eventlistener. And inside that listener function you have to place the position of the background images at the center as follows:
    background_mc.x =(this.stage.stageWidth/2) - (background_mc.width/2);

  • DEV Please LOOK: Reports cartridge and PARAMFORM problem

    I have a strange problem with the reports 6.0 cartridge under
    solaris 2.6
    If I submit the following URL:
    http://produc.criq.qc.ca:82/rwows?
    server=repserver.produc&report=vtor0001.rdf&userid=prd_vto/vto7vt
    [email protected]&destype=cache&desformat=PDF&paramform=HTMLTABLE
    Upon pressing SUBMIT in the parameter forms, I get: "Unable to
    communicate with the reports server"
    If I view the source of the parameter form that was generated by
    the reports cartridge I noticed a problem:
    ...excerpt...
    <form method=post action="http://produc.criq.qc.ca:82/rwows">
    <input name="hidden_run_parameters" type=hidden value="_server%
    3Drepserver%2Eproduc+report%3Dvtor0001%2Erdf+userid%3Dprd_vto%
    2Fvto7vtop%40vtop%2Eproduc+destype%3Dcache+desformat%3DPDF">
    In the HIDDEN_RUN_PARAMATERS , there is an underscore before the
    SERVER keyword. If I remove that underscore and submit the form
    (after saving it to a local file) it runs just fine.
    The same thing happens if I remove the PARAMFORM parameter and
    specify my reports parameter directly in the URL. I get the
    correct output instead of the error.
    There seems to be a problem with the parameter form that is
    generated by oracle.
    Anyone has a clue ?
    Thanks

    Maybe I'm not making myself clear here (or maybe I
    missed a sign that that said "open source only"). I
    don't need a part of my program fixed by someone else
    as such, but rather I was just wondering what the
    easiest way to speed up AWT graphics is and how can I
    read mouse motion (specific to neither the cursor nor
    the application's frame) or even just set the
    cursor's position relative to frame. Failing that,
    can someone tell me how I should read mouse input in
    a way similar to a standard First Person Shooter?Unless I am missunderstanding what you want again, then take a look at AWT's Toolkit, it has
    public void addAWTEventListener(AWTEventListener listener,
                                    long eventMask)and it should do what you want.

  • Help with Dropdownbox and following problems

    Hello BWler.
    I think my post is rather a crazy idea, but I hope you can bring me on the right track!
    My question: Is that generally feasible with HTML and Javascript or with other tools.
    I hope you understand my English.
    I would like to create a document (not the web item) in Web Application Designer which contains values from different Queries. It has three parts, Header, Body and Rest. The Header of the document can contain three different data (either material or customer or vendor), for which individual queries was defined. The Body gets data from an other query. The Rest is only text.
    This is my idea, but I don’t know, if it’s a good solution.
    In the first step I would like to fill a Dropdownbox with the three options of the Header (not on a characteristic in a query). The user selects a value and press the "submit" button.. Depending on which value was selected, the suitable Query and a defined characteristic should be used in the next Dropdownbox.
    That’s my attempt to fill my own dropdonbox an display the selected value. The URL looks right, but not the result ;-). The choice suitable dropdownbox was not implemented yet.
    customer
    material
    vendor
    Question: How can this be solved to join own and WAD dropdownboxes?
    Now if the right dropdownbox  is displayd, the values should be filtered. But e.g. for customer I have many values, therefore I’d like to create a nested dropdown menu. The first column should contain the letters “a” to “z”. After selection the values begins with this letter (e.g. all customers with letter “t”) should be read from the Query and then shown in the dropdownbox.
    Question: Is that generally possible and if so, what one must define in addition in query designer?
    Finally the result of the filtering should be displayed as text…

    @ Raja
    Thx for your reply. I will try it maybe later with BSP. Maybe I can also use java.
    @ Deepak
    Thx for your example. Now my first problem is solved. However, I have some more questions.
    DDB=Dropdownbox
    DP=DataProvider
    First:
    1) Is it possible to fill my own values in a BW-DDB without characteristic from query?
    Second:
    2) Is it possible to change only the DP for the same DDB.
    I would like to use the same DDB, either with the values of product or customer or vendor, if I change the value of my own DDB.
    My current solution is to change one DP with the right values.
    <option value="<SAP_BW_URL ITEM='DDB_ITEM_1' HIDDEN='' CMD_1="DATA_PROVIDER=DATAPROVIDER_2&CMD=RESET_DATA_PROVIDER&INFOCUBE=ZPRODUCT&QUERY=ZPR" IOBJNM='PRODUCT'>"> product</option>
    But my hope is to change only the DP(DATAPOVIDER1=customer, DATAPOVIDER2=vendor, DATAPOVIDER3=product) for the same DDB.
    So I test it ... but I receive only the DDB with a value (" All"):
    <object>
             <param name="OWNER" value="SAP_BW"/>
             <param name="CMD" value="SET_DATA_PROVIDER"/>
             <param name="NAME" value="DATAPROVIDER_2"/>
             <param name="QUERY" value="ZVEND"/>
             <param name="INFOCUBE" value="ZVENDOR"/>
             DATA_PROVIDER:             DATAPROVIDER_2
    </object>
    <object>
             <param name="OWNER" value="SAP_BW"/>
             <param name="CMD" value="SET_DATA_PROVIDER"/>
             <param name="NAME" value="DATAPROVIDER_3"/>
             <param name="QUERY" value="ZPR"/>
             <param name="INFOCUBE" value="ZPRODUCT"/>
             DATA_PROVIDER:             DATAPROVIDER_3
    </object>
    <option value="<SAP_BW_URL ITEM='DDB_ITEM_1' HIDDEN='' IOBJNM='PRODUCT' CMD_1="DATA_PROVIDER=DATAPROVIDER_2& CMD=RESET_DATA_PROVIDER&DATA_PROVIDER=DATAPROVIDER_3"> "> product</option>
    Finally I still have my old question with the nested dropdwonbox in WAD...can somebody tell me, if its possible to create this.

  • HT1351 Help! Syncing and managing problem

    My Ipod will literally not sync or allow me to play the music off of my playlist on one of my authorized computers; it won't even allow me to manage it, or automatically sync/ update new music on the computer I had originally synced it with. What is going on? I would like to be able to add new songs I have purchased from the itunes library to my Ipod! Help!

    Hello kdanos,
    It sounds like you are not able to add new music to your iPod nano.  If you have synced your iPod nano with another computer, you may need to enable manual mode:
    If you want to keep the music library on your device, but copy songs or playlists from the music library on the second computer, click Cancel when the dialog box appears, and then set your device to manual mode.
    When in manual mode, to add songs or playlists, drag them from iTunes to the device icon in the sidebar. To remove songs or playlists, select them on the device in iTunes and press the delete key. You can also create playlists directly on the device.
    You can find all the steps under the section titled "Manual Mode" in the following article:
    Using iPhone, iPad, or iPod with multiple computers
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1202
    If you are still having trouble with syncing content after enabling manual mode, I recommend following the steps in the troubleshooting assistant the iPod nano.  I wasn't sure what generation of iPod you have, so just click on the model you have in the following link to get the steps for your model:
    iPod Troubleshooting Assistants

    Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities.

  • The Mystery of the Duplicating Photos with Varying resolutions and Sizes by Sony Z1 Compact

    about the duplicating photos with varying resolutions and Sizes problem... I have a band-aid fix to this without deleting everything in your  phone. What you do is to find time to actually MANUALLY DELETE the extra photos. Don't delete it by Taping on the Album app and deleting everything on the home photos.
    Instead tap the album then on the UPPER LEFT CORNER (If you've updated the albums) tap the 3 bars beside the album icon to access the album menu, then tap the FOLDERS choice.
    You should see alot of folders with Thumbnails named with numbers and different resolutions. Delete all the folders labeled as Thumbnails or cache. *note that you cannot delete whole folders but the folder gets deleted automatically after all the contents inside it is deleted
    Afterwards, go to your phone's settings->App-> Album
    Then tap the Clear Data button
    After that restart your phone.
    This actually "fixes" the problem for a while but usually after a few restarts or Phone charge the folders comeback and you have to redo the whole process again. But the folders that are made becomes fewer than the 1st occurrence of this problem and deleting the photos shouldn't take as long as the 1st.
    Honestly i think this is definitely an Application bug and should be fixed by Sony, since you know its their built in app for Multimedia

    yea that also helps since it's a bug caused by the new update. I'm just waiting for Sony to fix the bug, i don't really mind deleting the thumbnails

    Hi Danny,
    Per my understanding that you can't get the expect result by using the expression "=Count(Fields!TICKET_STATUS.Value=4) " to count the the TICKET_STATUS which value is 4, the result will returns the count of all the TICKET_STATUS values(206)
    but not 180, right?
    I have tested on my local environment and can reproduce the issue, the issue caused by you are using the count() function in the incorrect way, please modify the expression as below and have a test:
    =COUNT(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS.Value=4 ,1,Nothing))
    or
    =SUM(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS=4,1,0))
    If you still have any problem, please feel free to ask.
