Help: sync + pc + mac + playlist

Hello,
I have all my songs in my PC and want to put them in my ipod... my question is.. if I want to create playlists after I uploaded the songs?
Here's an example
1. Sync songs from PC
2. Disconect Ipod
3. Conect ipod to macbook
4. create playlists in the itunes from macbook and get stored in the ipod

Keep the iPod Windows formatted so that you can use it on both Windows and Mac platforms. If, for any reason you Mac format the iPod it won't work on Windows without the purchase of 3rd party software such as XPlay or MacDrive.

Syncing from Mac Playlist to Shuffle

Hi,
I am trying to get the songs from a playlist my iTunes account to my iPod Shuffle 4th generation, however whenever I try and autofill from the playlist it comes up with the message:
"iTunes cannot add any songs to the iPod because no songs in the playlist can be copied to this iPod."
I just want to get my songs from my playlist on the account to my iPod shuffle. Please Help!

I have just started using .Mac IMAP accounts in Apple Mail (previous experience with another ISP with POP only). Two questions:
1. Since this is an IMAP account, when I delete a message on my computer in Apple Mail, will this deletion automatically also take place in .Mac webmail, or do I have to separately go to webmail to delete it there also?
2. I do two .Mac alias accounts enabled on my computer in Apple Mail, but not the primary .Mac account. Sending from each alias works great. However, received messages addressed to either alias show up randomly in the Apple Mail inboxes for these accounts. Sometimes the received message in the the correct inbox, and sometimes in the other.

HT1296 I'm trying to sync my Mac calendar (OS X Mavericks10.9) to my iPhone 5c. Help?

I have iCloud set up, but I'm not sure how to go about syncing the Mac Calendar to my iPhone.
The calendar on my iPhone has my yahoo account synced to it and also has a section for iCloud.
I've tried to add the On My Mac calendar to the Icloud section, but that doesn't help.

Somy Bridge forgets to update playlist after sync - iTunes/Mac

Hi,
I saw a similar thread in Z Ultra subforum, but decided to post it here as well, just in case the software development team focuses mainly on the software forum.
Setup: Mac OsX - iTunes - Sony Bridge - Z3 compact (All up to date).
When i sync a playlist, with sony bridge, from the iTunes, to the device for the first time, it copies the files to the device and creates a playlist file from the copied files or from the iTunes playlist for the device. All works well after that and when you open up playlists from the walkman app, you can see the playlist there with all the songs.
However if i modify the same playlist on the computer by adding more songs to it and open sony bridge and sync the existing playlist again - it syncs - and after syncing if i look from the walkman app that playlist, i see no modifications in the playlist just as nothing has been added or removed - items count is still the same as before syncing. Although if you look at the Recently Added section in the walkman app, you can see the news files have been added to the device - but they just wont show up in the playlist.
Technically what happens in the program level is that it forgets to update the playlist file on the android device after an already existing playlist gets synced / updated with new files. It adds the files to the device, but leaves an old playlist file to the device.
Current logic seems to be that if the playlist file already exists on the device, it assumes it has the neccessary playlist and all is OK, but it forgets that there might have been modifications to the already existing playlist and that the playlist file should be updated too.
Solution for the program would be to delete the old playlist file and create a new playlist file after the sync.

it always show the message that the name or pasword are incorrect, I don´t know why it says this if it´s the one I always use for itunes store and stuff. Please, i want my mac to sync my contacs and all my iphone stuff .

MobileMe has been closed for months. Do you mean you are trying to sync using iCloud? You need to be signed in in System Preferences>iCloud; this login isn't necessarily the same as that which you use for iTunes. If you migrated your MobileMe account to iCloud before 1 August then your iCloud login is your @me.com address.

I got a Mac and started buying music on it, and My PC has all of my whole Itunes library which is like 1000+. Well I want to put all of my music on my Mac, But everytime I plug it in and ask it to sync all music it tells me that I have to erase my Ipod and sync in with the music on my Mac... I have a mac mini runnung 10.4.7 and would like to know if I can run my 20G click wheel ipod AND my 8G Nano from the same profile on iTunes with out getting errors???

There are a few ways to connect your two iPods to a single library. You can choose the update option "automatically update selected playlists only" (Sync Music - Selected playlists in iTunes 7) for the Nano. This would allow you to create a playlist specifically for the Nano and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used by the other larger iPod. Make your playlist a Smart playlist and limit the size to just below the advertised capacity of your iPod Nano (around 3700MB for a 4GB or 1800MB for a 2GB). There are two things that should really be put forward in this post.
First, this is not a final candidate of Media Sync, but a "Preview Version". In other words, I'm assuming it's Beta.
Second, the following cannot be stated clearly enough: "After installing the Preview Version of BlackBerry® Media Sync, other software previously used to synchronize data with your Mac®, such as PocketMac® for BlackBerry® devices or Missing Sync, will no longer be able to connect to your device and will not work until BlackBerry® Media Sync is uninstalled."
I like Media Sync. It works with my Bold and I can import my iTunes playlists. What I don't understand is why it would, by its installation, nullify other applications like PocketMac which are just as important (if not much, much more). What's the point if installing one cancels-out the other? Is this being corrected? What is BlackBerry/RIM's development timeline on this software (ie. when can we expect a finished version which works with other applications)?

Hey, I had the exact same problem with my transferring a new album my friend bought on my Mac, to my iphone... It took me two days to figure it out, but it could be either of 2 things:
1. You don't have the "manually manage music and videos" box checked. If you check it, then try to click and drag it over to your music on your device, it should then sync (on iTunes 11) This was my problem, and I checked that box, and it transferred and downloaded instantly
2. You don't have enough memory space on your device to put the playlist on. This was the problem for a lot of other people, not me, but they said it worked once they cleared some space on their device.

ITunes 7 - syncing between Mac and PC using network

I thought there was an announcement today that Apple had made it easier to copy your iTunes library between Mac and PC with or without using an iPod.
I have not been able to find such an option in the iTunes 7 menus on my mac or pc. I could copy the library using standard network file copy, but then I would lose the playlists and settings.
Anybody know the new way to copy/sync a mac and pc itunes library while keeping playlists and settings?

I need help! Something about playlists

Hey there, I connected my iPod to my pc about a week ago but I had too many songs so it automatically created a playlist which did not select all the songs. I then deleted some songs from my library and deleted the playlist, but now when I try to update my iPod it says, ipod cannot be updated because all the playlists selected for update no longer exist, or something like that. Whats worse I now have no songs on my ipod! Arghh! Can anybody help me I aint much good with PC's so help would be much appreciated!

When you plugged in the iPod and had more music in your library than would fit, it created a new playlist which would fit.
You deleted this playlist but the iPod is still looking for it.
As Robert stated, there are a few options.
You cna do what he suggested.
Also, you can set it to Sycn all music.
It will create a new playlist as before that fits on the iPod and set it to Automatically sync only selected playlists.
I just create a Smart playlist and set ti to pick music at Random and limit it to the size of the iPod (a 4GB iPod is ~3700 MB).
When I want new music, I select the playlist, select all the songs an dpress Delete. It will fill up again automatically.
Then I plug in the iPod to sync the new music.

How can I sync the Mac contacts app with my friends Facebook photos?

I have an iPhone 5 and and iPad so I'm not to new to Apple products, however i did just get my first MacBook (I'm in love!) I have a question, is it possible to sync the Mac Contacts app with Facebook so that my friends Facebook photos will show up in the Mac Contacts app like they do on my iPhone or iPad? When I use iMessage on my Mac I would like my friends FB picture to pop up, would someone mind to walk me through this process?

If calendar events are not syncing from the iPhone to iCal on your mac, try Resetting the Sync History as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TA23030
Then enable calendar syncing in iTunes and choose the Merge option on the initial sync.

Help syncing iphone to new MacBook Pro

I got a MacBook Pro for Christmas, and I need help syncing my iPhone to it without losing my pictures, contacts, and music. I already wirelessly shared my iTunes library to from my old mac to the new one. Is there a way to sync my phone to the new computer and transfer my pictures and contacts and the rest of the stuff on my phone to it without losing it all? Or since I wirelessly shared my iTunes library, will my back up still be available?

There is no phone number for itunes store support.
Just copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer to the new one.
You can also transfer itunes purchases from the iphone to the computer. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
