Help with a method to update data

I keep and update daily a weather diary, (Excel worksheet) that is formatted and contains formulas. I would like to publish this worksheet or the data within it to a webpage created in Dreamweaver.
I've tried using an "Iframe" linking it to the URL where the data file is uploaded to, but it changes the formatting considerably and isn't acceptable. The formulas don't matter at the publishing stage because I don't want the data to be interactive with visitors to the page, but I do want the data within the page to be updated daily via my FTP program.
Can anybody point me in the right direction please?

This gets discussed more than you can possibly imagine and seems to be more often as of late. Working from Excel to the web is a messy process. Excel's export HTML feature is well behind the times (but then again when they use Word for an Outlook rendering engine it doesn't say much), and there is the possibility of exporting the data as XML which can be a difficult learning curve (I'll admit I have not tried it yet). Do you have access to a database (mySQL, MS SQL, or another one) on your web server? If so one thing you can try is putting the data into the database and using Excel's remote data connection to pull in the data you need into the Excel table when you need it. Then you also have a format compatible with the web and you can use CSS to style your web version and use the GUI in Excel to format that data. How familiar are you with the following: HTML, CSS, databases?

Help with new hard drive and data recovery

I have a macbook pro 13" from early 2011...last week the hard drive crashed and after a few hours at the genius bar had to got tekserv to recover my data and get a new hard drive and update to 8GB of Ram. When I got my macbook back I was given an external hard drive that had everything from my old hard drive saved by the users on the old hard drive. I was hoping I could just transfer the user over to the new hard drive but since I had to restart the computer as a new computer I am not able to just reassign my old profile as the new one on this laptop. Maybe I've done something wrong but at this point I transferred all my documents over, moved my music and pictures over but I have a few things I can't figure out that I'm hoping someone can help with.
1. Do emails that were in my mail program from both gmail and my verizon.net program get saved somewhere or do I have to just assume those were lost?
2. my iTunes library is now there but none of my playlists are there. Should those have been saved somewhere in my iTunes folder that I should see them? I'm concerned about syncing my iPhone or iPads to iTunes without those there.

Help with C6-00 photo update

I need help with updating the items in the photo gallery. Anytime I transfer pictures from PC to the phone using either a USB connection or bluetooth, the items just stay in the memory card. What I mean is that they can only be acessed through file manager and not possible to veiw them using the Photo application. It is as if the Photo application does not automatically update itself. I have tried moving the items from one folder to another, even using the images folder itself. Please, can you tell me what to do about it?
Usually, the same thing happens with Videos too.

The apps wont recognise the photos or videos if file extension is missing.Go to file manager and locate your file.Check whether it contains file extension.If not rename the file with . Jpg extension.If you dont know the type of file, select options >details(it should be something like that) to know it.After renaming all your files in file manager close file manager and open yout photo app.It should show all your photos.Same goes for videos which you will need to rename to .mp4 or .3gp as the case may be.

Help with FCPX and Compressor updates

OK found projects, didnt realize they got moved to the events library from down by the timeline. Still waiting to see if Compressor 4.1 works with FCPX 10.1 update. Looks promising though. My computer automatically updated Compressor to 4.1 without me knowing (obviously when I opened it I noticed) but when it was failing I was still trying to compress with FCP 10.0 and Compressor 4.1 so maybe that was the issue.

Help with Acer Aspire 4339 update. PLEASE HELP.

Okay, I'm already sick and tired of Acer. Since my warrenty is expired, I had to deal with terrible scam site called answersby.com that Acer RECOMMENDED. I cannot believe that they would actually share this TERRIBLE website to their customers. First of all, the live chat service only directed me to the same technician that would'nt reply to ANYTHING that I said. Not only that, the website itself is buggy and whenever when you try to send feedback, you'd have to click it like 6 times in order for it to send. Ha, and get this! There's many many people telling how that website scams people entirely. Anyways, diving into the CORE of my situation is that recently, I tried playing Sims 3, on this terrible laptop, and my drivers are outdated. (Horrah!) So I was like, okay, let's update. Come to find out, the updated drivers are 2011 which I don't even know why. Yes, yes I know. Acer Aspire 4339, so so old. But in order to actually download most things, you aren't able to update the Intel Graphics since it's customized by Acer. (Great!) *sarcasm* Also, whenever I try to update my chipset with the lovely Intel Update utility, I'm slapped in the face with errors. Went to Acer and my product, I can't download the chipset? I don't know. I'm confused on why there's OUTDATED software for Acer Aspire 4339. Not only that, I need an UPDATED version of Intel HD Graphics. The latest driver is literally from 2011. Come on. Why would the video card even be customized by Acer???? Ugh, if ANYONE can find me an UPDATE for Intel HD Graphics on the Intel website thank you, you've saved me from ripping my hair out. Since there isn't any updates, I won't be able to run MODERN gaming software on this computer. My Computer specs: Intel Celeron(R) CPU P4600Windows 7 Professional 32-bit (Pretty sure that's all you need.) My GPU is integrated, too. Since it's a laptop. I need to bypass this OUTDATED driver and get one at LEAST in 2012 and later. I tried so hard to avoid this forum, but Acer pushed me too far and now I'm here. So please, save my hair before I rip it out from the frustration that lovely Acer has given me.

bypassing custom Intel drivers is easy. check on programs/features if any Intel VGA drivers is listed and uninstall, if not...go to device manager, choose display adapters, right click your Intel VGA and choose to uninstall, deleting software drivers too. at next reboot, probably windows will be low res but you will be able to install the latest Intel original VGA drivers.

Help with drop create and update table

Sir/Madam,
I have joined 5 tables and selected some columns ,then I need to update some columns in that. After updating I need to create a report with the new column values.
To do this my method is to create temp table with the select statement then update the temp table , use this temp table for the report and then drop the temp table.
Is there anyother way to do this ??
Can I create a cursor and update the cursor column ??
Does dynamic sql always be created as procedure ??

1. you need a view on which you will create a drop down list UI element and a table view element
2. you will need to create a contoller class - this will be used to handle the event that will be triggered when user selects an entry from drop down list
3. you will need a model class in which you will write the business logic to retrieve employees of selected department.
Pls search this forum or blogs for - data binding with BSPs, Table View. Pls read these concepts and try to develop your requirement. You can come back to this forum if you face any issues during development.

Icloud help with restoring to an earlier date

I plugged my Iphone 4S into my computer and it said i could update to the new IOS 7 so i did.
When i completed the download my phone had completely lost all pictures, videos ect along with all text message history and so on.
All i had was my contacts.
I therefore tried to restore back to an earlier date but that didnt seem to work.
So i decided to restore my phone as i read that may work, then once done that sign into icloud and get it back that way.
Well once i restored my phone all my itunes was wiped and it now says i have 12.8gb of space when before (when all my stuff was there) i only had 7 or 8.
Therefore i am worried now that EVERYTHING has been truly deleted, even from my itunes and icloud.
Is there any way i can get this back?

It sounds as if you either didn't backup to iTunes before updating, or you clicked "Restore iPhone" instead of Update. Either way, you can try to restore again from iCloud (https://support.apple.com/kb/ph12521), and if nessecary choose to Show the older backups available from iCloud. Or learn more about how to keep a backup of your device so this doesn't happen again.

Help with if/else in displaying data - (possibly foreach)

Hello all,
I've been trying to set something up, and I'm having difficulty getting it to work.
Lines 84-111 have become my biggest difficulty. I've got an if/else statement set up so that if one record has an image located on the localhost that image is pulled up. The way I have it now, this works great.
If I swap lines 93-96 with 102-105, and just tweek line 90, I can get it to work if the image is located on an alias and not the localhost.
The problem is that if I have it like it is now, I can't get both to work at the same time. So, I'm trying to get the if/else statement to apply to each record that is being pulled up. It seems like what it is doing now is choosing which part of the if/else statement it needs to use for the first record, and then applies that for all records.
Is there a way to have it coded like it is now for the if/else statement (because I want to be able to add multiple alias' and just check to see if the image is on the localhost or not); but have the image be displayed no matter if the image is located on the localhost or an alias?

I've looked through a number of tutorials and it's been indicated to use a for each loop. However, I can't seem to get this to work. Is there anything I can do to get this to work the way I am trying to? Is it a problem with my if/else or do I need a for each? If I need a for each, how do I do that?

When the records are pulled, it seems like only the first part of the if / else statement is being applied to every record that is being pulled. The problem is if I've got records like the following:
Record one - (file on the host computer)
needs to be displayed from the condition
src="movies/coverart/<?php echo $row['art']; ?>"
Record two - (file on networked external hard drive)
needs to be displayed from the condition
src="http://<?php echo $row['ip_address']; ?>/<?php echo $row['alias_name']; ?>/coverart/<?php echo $row['art']; ?>
The way it's coded now, only record one will display the image (record two will not display the image). If I swap the order of the conditions, only record two will display the image (record one will not display the image).
How do I get both record one and record two to display the image when both appear on the same page from a single search query?

You could view source there to get the code. Here is what I believe is my problem
I'm trying to automate the site so that when you click on one of the links on the left, without refreshing the page, the paths to the galleries xml file changes, and the spry Detail Regions (1 for the images, 1 for the navigation - left and right arrows). I think the problem is that once the link changes the set and calls my updateSpryComponenets() function, the detail regions need to be refreshed. I'm currently trying to solve this by dynamically rewriting the HTML thru .innterHTML, everytime I call updateSpryComponents().There may also be a problem in the Javascript function updateSpryControllers because if I put the alert after the spry calls, I never get the alert

Ok, the first query on the Recent tab doesnt work for me because it wont show unless its already voted, and since these are supposed to be new blurts, that kind of breaks the whole site:

Help with findByDateRange method in CMP enity bean

I am trying to deploy my entity beans to WebLogic 7, runnning on a Sun Solaris
box. The application connects to an Oracle 9i database. I am having problems with
2 queries in my ejb-jar.xml file which correspond to 2 finder methods. These finder
methods take two java.util.Date parameters. I have read that EJB QL does not support
dates or date literals in its WHERE clause and one has to use long values of these
dates. I tried various combinations but haven't been able get the query to work.

2 queries in my ejb-jar.xml file which correspond to 2 finder methods.These finder
methods take two java.util.Date parameters. I have read that EJB QL doesnot support
dates or date literals in its WHERE clause and one has to use long valuesof these
dates. I tried various combinations but haven't been able get the query towork.
Here is an excerpt from my ejb-jar.xml file

Do I have to change the method parameters to java.lana.Long or to 'long'literal
from java.util.Date?

Help with iTunes/iPhone/Software update

Hi all, I have a MacBook Pro and am running OS X version 10.5.8 on it. However, when I plug in my iPhone 4GS in it now, it says that it can't be used unless I have the new version of iTunes (currently showing version of iTunes 10.6.3)--- however, when I check for software updates, nothing is coming up and it says everything is up to date. If I directly try to download the newest version of iTunes, it says my OS isn't up to date... This is something new that has occurred within the last couple of months. I didn't have a problem with it before. Help please!!!

If you need the current iTunes 10.7, you'll need to upgrade to OS X 10.6. You can buy it online from the Apple store or call them, which in the US is 800-MY-APPLE.

C# load xml data with attributes to datagridview; update data and save back to the xml

Now my question is:
I would like to update the data from the DataGridview with the Attribute("ID").Value == "22" and save the data back to the XML.
For example, after I load my data on the datagridview, we only pickup anything that is in the node

Can anyone please help with the 2.3 update in UK?

Can anyone please help? I have an unbranded x10 in the UK. PC companion constantly tells me my phone software is up to date (with android 2.1) so I cannot upgrade to 2.3. I've tried all the tips on the SE support page like deleting the database content and looking for the setting to update the phone next time it's connected which doesn't exist (very informative SE!). I'm not keen on this independent software installation through the rapidshare download, it seems full of glitches looking at the forums. http://www.sonyericsson.com/update/?lc=en&cc=gb&pid=xperiax10 This link clearly tells us the update is available through PC companion, no joy for me though. Any help is welcome.
