Help with Mathscipt and for loop
I have a code in Mathscript/matlab and I need to output the array out. One option is my first code,the other option is using a for loop, but I am only getting the last ouput out. I need to get the whole output out.
Any help.
Thanks

Help with writing and retrieving data from a table field with type "LCHR"
Hi Experts,
I need help with writing and reading data from a database table field which has a type of "LCHR". I have given an example of the original code but don't know what to change it to in order to fix it and still read in the original data that's stored in the LCHR field.
Basically we have two Function modules, one that saves list data to a database table and one that reads in this data. Both Function modules have an identicle table which has an array of fields from type INT4, CHAR, and type P. The INT4 field is the first one.
Incidentally this worked in the 4.7 non-unicode system but is now dumping in the new ECC6 Unicode system.
Thanks in advance,
C
SAVING THE LIST DATA TO DB
DATA: L_WA(800).
LOOP AT T_TAB into L_WA.
ZDBTAB-DATALEN = STRLEN( L_WA ).
MOVE: L_WA to ZDBTAB-RAWDATA.
ZDBTAB-LINENUM = SY-TABIX.
INSERT ZDBTAB.
READING THE DATA FROM DB
DATA: BEGIN OF T_DATA,
SEQNR type ZDBTAB-LINENUM,
DATA type ZDBTAB-RAWDATA,
END OF T_TAB.
Select the data.
SELECT linenum rawdata from ZDBTAB into table T_DATA
WHERE repid = w_repname
AND rundate = w_rundate
ORDER BY linenum.
Populate calling Internal Table.
LOOP AT T-DATA.
APPEND T_DATA to T_TAB.
ENDLOOP.Hi Anuj,
The unicode flag is active.
When I run our report and then to try and save the list data a dump is happening at the following point
LOOP AT T_TAB into L_WA.
As I say, T_TAB consists of different fields and field types whereas L_WA is CHAR 800. The dump mentions UC_OBJECTS_NOT_CONVERTIBLE
When I try to load a saved list the dump is happening at the following point
APPEND T_DATA-RAWDATA to T_TAB.
T_DATA-RAWDATA is type LCHR and T_TAB consists of different fields and field types.
In both examples the dumps mention UC_OBJECTS_NOT_CONVERTIBLE

Although I am an HP Employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP. -
Hi I am using oracle 10g. Trying to aggregate duplicate count records. I have so far:
SELECT 'ST' LEDGER,
CASE
WHEN c.Category = 'E' THEN 'Headcount Exempt'
ELSE 'Headcount Non-Exempt'
END
ACCOUNTS,
CASE WHEN a.COMPANY = 'ZEE' THEN 'OH' ELSE 'NA' END MARKET,
'MARCH_12' AS PERIOD,
COUNT (a.empl_id) head_count
FROM essbase.employee_pubinfo a
LEFT OUTER JOIN MMS_DIST_COPY b
ON a.cost_ctr = TRIM (b.bu)
INNER JOIN MMS_GL_PAY_GROUPS c
ON a.pay_group = c.group_code
WHERE a.employee_status IN ('A', 'L', 'P', 'S')
AND FISCAL_YEAR = '2012'
AND FISCAL_MONTH = 'MARCH'
GROUP BY a.company,
b.district,
a.cost_ctr,
c.category,
a.fiscal_month,
a.fiscal_year;
which gives me same rows with different head_counts. I am trying to combine the same rows as a total (one record). Do I use a subquery?Hi,
Whenever you have a problem, please post a little sample data (CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements, relevant columns only) from all tables involved.
Also post the results you want from that data, and an explanation of how you get those results from that data, with specific examples.
user610131 wrote:
... which gives me same rows with different head_counts.If they have different head_counts, then the rows are not the same.
I am trying to combine the same rows as a total (one record). Do I use a subquery?Maybe. It's more likely that you need a different GROUP BY clause, since the GROUP BY clause determines how many rows of output there will be. I'll be able to say more after you post the sample data, results, and explanation.
You may want both a sub-query and a different GROUP BY clause. For example:
WITH got_group_by_columns AS
SELECT a.empl_id
, CASE
WHEN c.category = 'E'
THEN 'Headcount Exempt'
ELSE 'Headcount Non-Exempt'
END AS accounts
, CASE
WHEN a.company = 'ZEE'
THEN 'OH'
ELSE 'NA'
END AS market
FROM essbase.employee_pubinfo a
LEFT OUTER JOIN mms_dist_copy b ON a.cost_ctr = TRIM (b.bu)
INNER JOIN mms_gl_pay_groups c ON a.pay_group = c.group_code
WHERE a.employee_status IN ('A', 'L', 'P', 'S')
AND fiscal_year = '2012'
AND fiscal_month = 'MARCH'
SELECT 'ST' AS ledger
, accounts
, market
, 'MARCH_12' AS period
, COUNT (empl_id) AS head_count
FROM got_group_by_columns
GROUP BY accounts
, market
;But that's just a wild guess.
You said you wanted "Help with count and sum". I see the COUNT, but what do you want with SUM? No doubt this will be clearer after you post the sample data and results.

Help with Simple Applescript for Midipipe
Hey all, I'm in desperate need of help with some Applescript for use in a program called Midipipe:
http://web.mac.com/nicowald/SubtleSoft/MidiPipe.html
I simply require an Applescript for Midipipe that filters out all OFF notes except for the most recently pressed key, or most recently pressed ON note. So for example, when multiple keys have been pressed, only the most recently pressed key will send an OFF note. I hope that is clear enough, i've had some major issues trying to get this work and my last hope is to hit the forums and find some help .. I've posted on some of the audio forums and i'm hoping someone here knows how to code this.
Thanks so much!! .. Its for an upcomming show next week so i'm hoping someone can get me in the right direction to solving this.
-JesI try to help, but you'll need to apply your brain cells to get it working with what I've already explained (three times with what I offer below). Try something like the following (I am renaming your buttons to ch1,ch2,ch3,ch4,ch5,ch6 so that the same functions can be shared by all buttons...
// this assigns listeners to all 6 buttons
for(var i:uint=1; i<7; i++){
this["ch"+String(i)].addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, fl_ClickToSeekToCuePoint);
// this processes any one of the 6 btns when they are clicked
function fl_ClickToSeekToCuePoint_1(event:MouseEvent):void
var btn = event.currentTarget;
var cuePointInstance:Object = vid.findCuePoint(btn.name);
vid.seek(cuePointInstance.time);
resetButtons(); // this makes all buttons go back to normal
btn.upState = btn.overState; // this makes the clicked button change states
function resetButtons():void {
for(var i:uint=1; i<7; i++){
this["ch"+String(i)].upState = this["ch"+String(i)].hitTestState;
For this to work, your buttons need to have the same artwork in the hit frame as they do in the up frame. -

Help with if statement in cursor and for loop to get output
I have the following cursor and and want to use if else statement to get the output. The cursor is working fine. What i need help with is how to use and if else statement to only get the folderrsn that have not been updated in the last 30 days. If you look at the talbe below my select statement is showing folderrs 291631 was updated only 4 days ago and folderrsn 322160 was also updated 4 days ago.
I do not want these two to appear in my result set. So i need to use if else so that my result only shows all folderrsn that havenot been updated in the last 30 days.
Here is my cursor:
/*Cursor for Email procedure. It is working Shows userid and the string
You need to update these folders*/
DECLARE
a_user varchar2(200) := null;
v_assigneduser varchar2(20);
v_folderrsn varchar2(200);
v_emailaddress varchar2(60);
v_subject varchar2(200);
Cursor c IS
SELECT assigneduser, vu.emailaddress, f.folderrsn, trunc(f.indate) AS "IN DATE",
MAX (trunc(fpa.attemptdate)) AS "LAST UPDATE",
trunc(sysdate) - MAX (trunc(fpa.attemptdate)) AS "DAYS PAST"
--MAX (TRUNC (fpa.attemptdate)) - TRUNC (f.indate) AS "NUMBER OF DAYS"
FROM folder f, folderprocess fp, validuser vu, folderprocessattempt fpa
WHERE f.foldertype = 'HJ'
AND f.statuscode NOT IN (20, 40)
AND f.folderrsn = fp.folderrsn
AND fp.processrsn = fpa.processrsn
AND vu.userid = fp.assigneduser
AND vu.statuscode = 1
GROUP BY assigneduser, vu.emailaddress, f.folderrsn, f.indate
ORDER BY fp.assigneduser;
BEGIN
FOR c1 IN c LOOP
IF (c1.assigneduser = v_assigneduser) THEN
dbms_output.put_line(' ' || c1.folderrsn);
else
dbms_output.put(c1.assigneduser ||': ' || 'Overdue Folders:You need to update these folders: Folderrsn: '||c1.folderrsn);
END IF;
a_user := c1.assigneduser;
v_assigneduser := c1.assigneduser;
v_folderrsn := c1.folderrsn;
v_emailaddress := c1.emailaddress;
v_subject := 'Subject: Project for';
END LOOP;
END;
The reason I have included the folowing table is that I want you to see the output from the select statement. that way you can help me do the if statement in the above cursor so that the result will look like this:
emailaddress
Subject: 'Project for ' || V_email || 'not updated in the last 30 days'
v_folderrsn
v_folderrsn

Help with resultset and looping thru a sql filed
Hi,
I have a SQL statement which connects two tables with accounting number, the table2 have multiple rows for one accounting number in table1.
So I did if else condition in accounting number in resultset as following:
List<AccRecord> retval = new ArrayList<AccRecord>();
while(rs.next())
//instance of account record
AcciRecord acct1 = new AccRecord();;
if(acc_No != accountNumber)
//then get all data from table1
acc1.setEmpId(rs.getInt("ACC_ID"));
acc1.setEmpId(rs.getString("Acc_Name"));//and other 20 fields like this
else if(acc_No == accountNumber) //this is where it breaks down if same acc number has more than one row in table2,we don't //want to get all other data again from table1
//also get all data associated with that accounting number from table2
Other other1 = new Other();
other1.setEmpId(rs.getInt("EMP_ID"));//these are datas from table2
other1.setjobCode(rs.getString("JOB_CD"));
other1.add(crew1);
retval.add(acc1);
}My question is how can I make logic right, in above code for the first account number it will go to else if condition (coz very first time acc number is never going to be different then previous accounting number,so it won't get my accounting data, the way I have compared it)
I want to code like for one accounting number it brings all accounting data and for that accounting number it also brings all employee data (which is in table2) which will more than one entires,
So..when accounting number is same as previous it shouldn't get all data again from table 1 ,it should go to only else if condition to get data from table 2 , it should go to my if block only when there is a new accounting number, in other words when there is next record in table1
Can anybody help me??
Please...
Thanks
Edited by: ASH_2007 on Mar 28, 2008 11:55 AMhi there,
thanks for ur feedback
but it is always going to contian accno .. so it will never go in your condition
May be I haven't explained it well
I need something which gets all data for every new account number in table 1
Now for that same account number, table2 have 3 rows including that account number 3 times (I am connecting this 2 tables with acc no, table 1 doesn't have duplicate acc no but table 2 does)So my resultset runs 3 times for the first record in table 1, because for that accno table 2 has 3 entries
This is because my sql is as follow,,which I have to,,I can't change due to requirements...
SELECT A.accNumber, A.Date, B.EMP_ID, B.JOB_CD
FROM Table A, Table B, (SELECT SSA.accNumber FROM Table SSA, Table SSB
WHERE SSB.EMP_ID = ? AND
SSA.accNumber = accNumber) C
WHERE A.accNumber = C.accNumber
AND A.accNumber = B.accNumber
//so if I do: like this in my resultset
while(rs.next())
Integer accNumber = rs.getINt(accNumber);
accno =accnumber;
if (accno != accNumber)
{ get all account data
else if(accno == accNumber)
{ get all other data
}but question is it will not satisfy my if condition , because for a new record ,in this case,in first record acc number will never match...
I appreciate your help and time
Please help me
THnaks

I'm looking to get my boyfriend either a TV or home theater system for the basement. I know he eventually wants a 3d TV. Right now he has a set up where he has 2 tv's so he can play video games and watch sports.
The basement that the tv and home theater system will be in is large (I'd estimate at least 15 ft x 30 ft...maybe more) so I want to make sure the home theater system will be enough for the room. We live in a ranch so basically the basement is almost the size of the house with some of it being storage.
I've started to look at products online but there are so many and technology isn't really my thing.
If anyone could help with recommendations for the home theater system and/or the tv I'd appreciate it!
Thanks so so sooo much!!!!What will he be using the HT system for? Just watching sports or skipping the movie theater and watching them at home. If you plan to watch them at home your going to be on a tight budget with the home theater system but it is possible. Spend good money on the sub, that is one speaker you don't want to skimp out on. With such a big space you have a lot of room to fill and the cheap subs aren't going to cut it. You will probably need two subs as it is. The speakers I recommend on a tight budget Polk or Klipsch. My list includes a Denon receiver as I am a Denon fan but Yamaha, Onkyo, or Pioneer will suffice.
Here is a Option 1 will run you about 1700 with just one sub. You could always go up a model on each speaker if you feel the one sub is enough. I like an explosion sounding like it happened in front of me so that is why I mention 2 subs.

While loop and for loop condition terminal
Hello friends,
I am using labview 8.6. The condition terminal of the while loop and conditional for loop is behaving in just the opposite way.
When i wire a true to the condition terminal of my loop, the while loop continues to run when I click on run. when I wire a FALSE, it stops.
Is there any setting change that I have to make it to get it work properly.
Please suggest on this.
Thanks and regards,

I am sending you the VI. I am not sure if this would help you because only in 2 computers this behaviour is seen. In others, it works as it is supposed to work.
Whatever you are seeing must be due to some corruption or folding error. It all works fine here.
To make sure there are no hidden objects, simply press the cleanup button which would reveal any extra stuff (which is obviously not there). Does it fix itself if you click the termination terminal an even number of times? What if you remove the bad loop and create a new one?
Could it be you have some problems with the graphics card and the icon of the conditional terminal does not update correctly?
Whay happens if you connect a control instead of a diagram constant?
What is different on the computers where it acts incorrectly (different CPU (brand, model), #of cores, etc.)

Multiplication Table with Two Nested For Loops
I am trying to code a multiplication table in which the user enters the number of rows between 2 and 10 and enters the number of columns from 2 to 10. This must be in nested for loop format somewhat like this:
rows has been assigned the input variable for rows and columns is the name for input value for columns
for (int i = 1; i <=rows; i++)
for (int j = 1; j <=columns; j++)
i * j
i can't figure out how to get it to print out in table format or if the calculation coding is correct. can anyone help me please?
it should look like this for rows is 4 and columns is 7
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
2 4 6 8 10 12 14
3 6 9 12 15 18 21
4 8 12 16 20 24 28
