Help with PHP array code
Not sure what's going on here, but hopefully someone can spot where I'm going wrong.
Its especially weird, as I'm using the same code, with the same database table names etc but on a different site.
Basically, I've set up a database table to store customer feedback on products.
Its all working fine on this site :

But on the site I'm working on, its only showing the first record. There are only a couple of records at the moment, but I've tried changing the query from ASC to DESC, and it swaps the one it shows, so it looks like the issue is with the array. Even though its the same code.

Any ideas what's going on here?
Its OK - I figured it out - it was the
$row_rsReviews = mysql_fetch_assoc($rsReviews);
line in the query.
Turns out it wasn't that one was working, and the other not - they were both starting from the second record.

Need help with a activation code for Adobe Acrobat X Standard for my PC, Don't have older Version of Adobe Acrobat 9, 8 or 7.
You don't need to install the older version, you only need the serial number from your original purchase. If you don't have them to hand, did you register? If so, they should be in your Adobe account. If not you really need to contact Adobe, though it isn't clear they will be able to do anything without some proof of purchase etc.

Help with parallel arrays of different data types
Hello all, I am having an issue with parallel arrays. My program requires me to read information from a text file into 4 parallel arrays (2 String and 2 double). My text file needs to look something like this:
John Johnson
0000004738294961
502.67
1000.000
Jane Smith
0000005296847913
284.51
1000.000
...and so on
Where the first thing is the name (obviously), an account number, the balance in the account, and the credit limit. I just cant figure out how to read everything into the arrays. We havent learned anything too heavy, and this seems a little too advanced for my class, but I guess we will manage. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks guys.
CaseyMan this is a dumb homework assignment. The requirements scream out for a class along the lines of
public class Account{
private String name, number;
private double balance,creditlimit;
// more code here
}and then to use a List of Account objects.
Anyway what's your actual problem. There's nothing very hard about it. A loop. So....
You should consider posting (formatted) code showing what you have done and where exactly you are stuck. -
Need help with PHP mail script
I have created a log in system . In that when the user completes the registration process an auto reply(auto-reply@domain) will generate and sent this to users email id regarding about the user name and password (Lo gin Details). After formal approval from the admin the user will get a user activation mail with log in link.
But , my problem is these are work only for mail accounts from my domain only(test@domain). its not send any of above mentioned details to other mail services like gmail or yahoo etc.
i discussed this with some others, they said its the problem with your mail function configuration. but i didn't get any needful information as am a beginner in PHP scripting.
i have contacted this with my hosting service they said its the problem with php mail () function and use php mailer() instead mail().
please give me a solution for the same..

Problem with PHP, CSS & Code Navigator in CS4

I've got al little problem with code navigator. To show the problem, I created this 3 files:

The CSS-Definition is defined static, with simple HTML.

The Problem in Dreamweaver CS4
When opening the test.html - File in Dreamweaver CS4, I can easily see the CSS-Definition of the <p>-Tag in Code Navigator. To edit these definition I can simple open the test.css by clicking on the definition in Code navigator. For a complex webpage this is a greate feature. Sadly, this does not work, when I open the test2.php. Although when going to Live View and selecting the <p>-Tag I can see the CSS-Definition and the file in which it is defined in Code Navigator. But by clicking on the definition the test.css DOES NOT OPEN!
Has anybody a solution? Because many of our projects have dynamic CSS-Definitions, it would be a shame, if this would not work.

Note that the include file contains the opening and closing style tags.
By including your styles like this in a PHP include file, Dreamweaver applies the CSS in Design view (you don't need to turn on Live View). Holding down the Alt key while clicking in Design view brings up the Code Navigator with all the details of the CSS. The one missing link in the chain is that clicking the style selector in the Code Navigator does not open the CSS file. However...
The file that contains the CSS is listed in the Related Files toolbar, so you can edit it in Split view, and see the results in Design view in exactly the same way as with an HTML page and ordinary style sheet.
As I say, not the full solution that you wanted, but it might be something worth experimenting with. -
Need help with an array function
I'm using the array index function and i would like to be able to control what elements go out on it. For example, if i wanted only the first element to go out, i don't want the second element to send out zero. Is there any way i can control what elements leave the array index function. I also don't understand what the index inputs do on that function either. If anyone has any advice on the application or can modify it in any way, please help.

Array and for loop.vi 1190 KBThe index inputs determine what elements are retrieved. For example of you would wire a 10 and a 20 to your two index inputs, you would bet element #10 and element #20 of your array. You can resize it to get any desired number of elements.
If you don't wire the index inputs, you'll get the first two elements.
If you only wire the top index input (e.g a 10), you'll get element #10 and #11.

Help with php session variables
I am using Dreamweaver 8 to set up a dynamic app with PHP and
MySQL. I want the code that the user logs in with ('UPN') to be
stored as a session variable so that recordsets on subsequent pages
can be set to display personalised data.
I have set the session variable like this: $_SESSION['UPN'] =
'UPN' (UPN is the name of the form textfield, also set as the
username for logging in)
On the data page, I have called the variable like this:
$query_Recordset1 = ("SELECT pupils.pupilID, pupils.UPN,
pupils.forename, pupils.surname FROM pupils WHERE UPN = '" .
$_SESSION['UPN'] . "'");
The recordset returns nothing- the dynamic table returns ony
the column headings (both as headings and immediately under where
you would expect the data to be).
Can anyone help?

Your code assigns the literal string UPN to the session
variable. If
it's coming from POSTed form data, you'd need to do it like:
$_SESSION['UPN'] = $_POST['UPN'];

Need help with PHP contact form
Hi guys,
I've made a PHP contact form for my site and need help with a couple of things:
The form action links an external PHP script (scripts/contact-form-script.php) but is there a way I can have it so the PHP script for the form is contained within the same PHP file as my contact form (contact.php)?
I tried just putting the form code at the top of contact.php but the browser automatically reads the anti-spam re-direct, so maybe that needs revising too?
The second thing is, how can I make the Name, Email and Message fields mandatory? So if a user tries to submit the form and hasn't filled in one of the required fields and clicks submit, contact.php reloads with a message at the top of the form saying something like 'Complete the required fields' and highlights the relevant field with a red border?

Here is the go folks this is a pice of code which I was helped with by a member of this forum, THANX HEAPS DUDE. What has happened now is the criteria is changed, previously it would search for a string in the vector. But now I have to have searches with wildcards, so it needs to utilize a char array methinks. So it will go through change the parameter to a char array, then go through the getDirector() method to return a director string, then it needs to loop through the char array and check if the letters are the same. then exit on the wild card. Now all this needs to be happening while this contruct down the bottom is looping through all the different elements in the moviesVector :s if anyone could give me a hand it is verry welcome. I must say also that this forum is very well run. 5 stars

Hello guys need help with reverse array
Need help reversing an array, i think my code is correct but it still does not work, so im thinking it might be something else i do not see.
so far the input for the array is
6, 25 , 10 , 5
and output is still the same
6 , 25 , 10 , 5
not sure what is going on.

im thinking this is because the main array is has 10 elements with only 4 in use so this is a partial array.
Example
the array is { 6, 25, 10, 5, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0,}
after the swap
{0, 0 , 0 , 0, 0 , 0 , 5 , 10 , 25, 6}
i need it to be just
{ 5, 10, 25, 6}
so it is swapping the begining and end but only with zeroes the thing is i need to reverse the array without the zeroes -

Im a newbie when it comes to working with Javascript and Adobe Edge and need a bit of help with adjusting some javascript code to work with Adobe Edge. A friend of mine helped me with making this javascript code: Edit fiddle - JSFiddle
Its a simple countdown which counts down to a certain time at a certain date. What I aim to do is to add this code as a trigger on a text-element called "countdown" (within a symbol called "count").
I have tried to do this as the code is, but it does not work. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have stumbled upon a problem with these animations; They crash the browser after viewing them a little while, usually less than 30 seconds in.
Is this problem also occuring when you watch the animations?
Is the countdown-code to much for the browsers to handle?

I need help on some HTML code if at all possible.
What I am trying to do is set up a page that someone can
enter their name address and email into a form and when they hit
the submit button it automatically sends them a premade email of my
choosing that I make prior and somehow maybe embeded into the html
code to the address that they entered? I dont know if it is
possible but I am sure it can be.
