Help with Reading values from static table in a .pdf file

Hi guys,
Pls try to clear this doubt of mine.
I basically have 2 files. Both are .pdf extension and they have tables in them. I need to compare certain values in one file with the corresponding values in the other table in the second file.
I need to do this programatically in c# . net
I have tried using packages like pdfbox and stuff which convert the pdf file into text. But cant I get the table as an object or something using which I can access the required rows and columns?
Also, these tables are static information. They are not a part of a form or anything like that.

Help with getting values from request. Very Strange!!

My very strange problem is the following.
I have created three dynamic list boxes. When the user select
the first list box, the second becomes populated with stuff
from a database. The third becomes populated when the second
is selected. Now, I have used hidden values in order for
me to get the selected value from the first listbox. The
following code is my first listbox:

At this time I am able to get the value of hiddenObject to populate
the second list box.
But, when the user selects an item from the second list box
and the second form is also submitted,
I lose the value of hiddenObject. Why is this??
The code to populate my second listbox is the following:

Form parameters are request-scoped, hence the request.getParameter("hiddenObject"); call after the submission of the second form returns a null value because the hiddenObject parameter does not exist within the second request.
A solution would be to add a hiddenObject field to your second form and alter the onChange event for res_categories to read

A far better approach would be to create a session scoped bean, and a servlet to handle these requests. Then when the servlet is called, it would set the value of the bean property, thus making it available for this request, and all subsequent requests within the current session. This approach would eliminate the need for the clunky javascript, making your application far more stable.

Never use the run continuous button. That is just a debug tool. You need a while loop around the read. In order to write to a table, you would need a shift register. The Express table might be different but I don't use Express VIs often. To plot, you would convert the string to a numeric and wire it to a chart.
p.s. Using the VISA Configure Serial Port with termination character enabled along with the VISA Bytes at Serial Port is a bad combination. If your instrument sends data with a termination character, you just need a constant wired to the byte count of the VISA Read. You would also eliminate the wait function.

To read the 'Input help with fixed values' of domain , you can use the function module : HR_P_GET_FIXED_VALUE_TEXT.
iIf you enter the domain name, you will find the fixed values entered in the domain.
These values are stored in a table DD07L(DD zero 7 L). Here the values are stored based on domain name.
See if it works for you.

Reading Data from a Table With an Expert

Hi all - I'm trying to write an Expert in OWB that would read data from a table and create a new table based on that information. I have the table creation part down, but how can I read data from a table with an Expert? From what I've read, Experts only deal with metadata, and there is no mechanism in Experts to actually read data in the tables. Does OraTcl work in Experts?  I have to read data from BSEG table based on WBS element field (PROJK). As I'm not passing key fields to WHERE clause system couldnt run the select statement. Since BSEG is a cluster table I cant even create secondary index on PROJK field.

the reason why you can't get the text is because you are reading the value before some actually inserts anything in any fields.
Here is what you need to do:
Create a JDialog/JFrame. Create a JPanel and set that panel as contentPane (dialog.setContentPane(panel)). Insert all the components, ie JLabels and JTextFields. Add two buttons, Login and Cancel to the panel as well. Now get the username and password field values using getText() inside the ActionListener of the Login.

Copy selected values from a table control into another table control

hi there,
as seen in the subject i need to copy selected values from a table control into another table control in the same screen. as i dont know much about table controls i made 2 table controls with the wizard and started to change the code... right now im totally messed up. nothing works anymore and i don't know where to start over.
i looked up the forums and google, but there is nothing to help me with this problem (or i suck in searching the internet for solutions)
i have 2 buttons. one to push the selected data from the top table control into the bottom tc and the other button is to push selected data from the bottom tc into the top tc. does somebody has a sample code to do this?

How to retrieve 2 values from a table in a LOV

I'm pretty new to APEX. I try to retrieve two values from a table using a LOV. I have a table named DEBIT with then columns SITE, NAME and KEY
I want to display NAME to the user in a list. When the user select an item from the list, I want to retrieve the data of the SITE and KEY column of this item in order to launch an SQL command based on this two values.
How to retrieve thes two values whant the user chooses an item from the list ?

From what I understood about your requirement, you want a 'select list with submit' which displays "NAME" and based on the value selected, you want to get the corresponding values for "SITE" and "KEY" from the table.
Step 1: Create a select list with submit, say P1_MYSELECT 
Use something like this in the dynamic list of values for the select list: 
SELECT NAME display_value, NAME return_value
FROM DEBIT 
Step 2: Create a page process of type PL/SQL block. Also create 2 hidden items P1_KEY and P1_SITE. 
In the PL/sQL, write something like:
DECLARE
v_key DEBIT.KEY%TYPE;
v_site DEBIT.SITE%TYPE;
CURSOR v_cur_myvals IS
 SELECT KEY, SITE
 FROM DEBIT
 WHERE NAME = :P1_MYSELECT;
BEGIN
OPEN v_cur_myvals;
LOOP
 FETCH v_cur_myvals
 INTO v_key,v_site;
 EXIT WHEN v_cur_myvals%NOTFOUND;
:P1_KEY := v_key;
:P1_SITE := v_site;
END LOOP;
CLOSE v_cur_myvals;
END; 
Then you can use these values for whatever purpose you need to.

Reading values from lookup columns through custom workflow in SharePoint 2013

We are able to read the values of text, number columns through custom workflow (via coding) in SharePoint 2013. However, we are not able to read values from lookup columns. So, request anyone to provide help on this.

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to read values from lookup columns through custom workflow in SharePoint 2013.
Since the workflow just doesn't get lookup fields, let's give it something static to work with instead. If we can capture the ID of the lookup field and store that as a static value in our list, the workflow can happily use that to look up our related.

If no data is read
- Insure that you use internal code in SELECT statement, check via SE16 desactivating conversion exit on table T006A. ([ref|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/2a/fa0122493111d182b70000e829fbfe/frameset.htm])
If no quanity in result internal table
- There is no adqntp field in the internal table, so no quantity is copied in itab ([ref|http://help.sap.com /abapdocu_70/en/ABAPINTO_CLAUSE.htm#&ABAP_ALTERNATIVE_1@1@]).
- - Remove the CORRESPONDING, so quantity will fill the first field adqntp1. ([ref|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_70/en/ABENOPEN_SQL_WA.htm])
- - Then loop at the internal table and move the quantity when necessary to the 2 other fields.
* Fill the internal table
SELECT msehi adqntp
INTO TABLE internal table
FROM lipso2
WHERE vbeln = wrk_doc1
 AND msehi IN ('KL','K15','MT').
* If required move the read quantity in the appropriate column.
LOOP AT internal_table ASSIGNING <fs>.
CASE <fs>-msehi.
 WHEN 'K15'.
 <fs>-adqnt2 = <fs>-adqnt1.
 CLEAR <fs>-adqnt1.
 WHEN 'MT'.
 <fs>-adqnt3 = <fs>-adqnt1.
 CLEAR <fs>-adqnt1.
ENDCASE.
ENDLOOP.
- You could also create another table with only fields msehi and adqntp and then collect ([ref|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_70/en/ABAPCOLLECT.htm]) the data to another table.
