Using the various forms of the exec() method in the Runtime class, you can execute arbitrary programs, such as MS Word. exec() returns a Process instance, which you can do various things with such as get input/output streams, kill, etc. Note the parameters to the exec() method are platform specific, because of differing command shell names, path separators, etc. So you will definitely have to experiment and see what works on your platform:
Process msWord = Runtime.getRuntime().exec( "cmd.exe /C winword.exe" );That is one of the general idioms for using exec(), like I say you will have to experiment to see what variant of exec() works for you. Try searching these forums, this question has been answered numerous times before.

I had gone through documentation but it is not of much help.

You are missing some steps.
When you invoke a java method from C++, the parameters have to be java parameters, no C++ parameters.
For example, your code appears to me as thogh it is trying to pass a (C++) array of ints into a java method. No can do.
You have to construct a java in array and fill it in with values.
Here's a code snippet:
jintArray intArray = env->NewIntArray(10); // Ten elments
There are also jni functions for getting and setting array "regions".

No syntax error but junk values returned as I had not written the logic for retrieval based on this operator. This means that if you add the selection_param to the dynamic query and then handle that same thing in the GENIL class for the component then you would be able to retrieve the values based on this.
On the UI , you would be retrieving all the operators for the parameters. There for that particular field you have to add the new operator for your case. And this would be send to the Dquery class and added as a selection param. When the query is executed, if the genil class has been updated to handle this parameter, you should be able to retrieve the results.

Problem in aligning dynamic UI with the static UI

I have problem in aligning dynamic UI with the static UI, I am using Matrix layout.
Static fields are spread over 2 colums and 3 rows:

lableE SPACE dropdown SPACESPACElableF SPACE dropdown
Now when a value is selected in C, than E becomes visible, and depending on the values selected in E, there are dynamic UI generated, i.e dynamic lables and depending on some validation it will be either a dropdowns or input fiels or both.
at run time screen is like this:

lableC SPACE dropdown SPACESPACElableD SPACE dropdown

I want to populate a dynamic DataGrid with User Preferred
columns (ex : EmpId,First Name and Phone). Each time columns may
change based on User Selection in Preferences Page so columns
should not hard code. I'm able to see data for EmpId, First Name
but I want to see the Inner tag data of "Phone" as a Field.

To display nested data, you must use a labelFunction. I have

You can assign a function reference to the column's

      it is possible..
       you should first pass the id of he ui element and then bind it.
       for ex:
         if there is an input field, you can get the attribute that is bound, using cl_wd_input_field->bound_value.
         if you want to set an attribute, use cl_wd_input_field->bind_value.
         the first one will give an idea of how a valueshould be given.

Some problems can indeed be fixed this way. But working from Recovery_HD or Disk Warrior DVDs and working in the restricted environment those provide can be difficult. You can literally spend days working on this problem (while your regular work is unavailable) only to discover the old drive is unsalvageable.
There is no way to know up front whether you are facing a major Hardware failure or a minor software glitch, or something in between. Often you are forced to work from the drive you no longer trust. I continue to recommend you do this work from a different, fully functioning Mac OS X booted from a different drive.
If you have had the foresight to (as The hatter often recommends) clone your virgin install onto another drive for use in such situations, you will be able to recover from such problems in record time. If not, my previous recommendations stands:
Buy a new Drive. Or two. Install Mac OS X from scratch on a new drive, and get your Mac running again. Later, you can use the full power of Mac OS X to attempt to rescue your data, if needed. Then Zero the old drive, to see if it can hold data again reliably.
If the old drive eventually provides some needed data, and is salvageable, Merry Christmas.

Dynamic Report with Hundreds of Columns in APPS -- Possible ?

I am working on a design of building a dynamic report with up close to 1000 columns in Oracle MFG. Depending on the number of item parameters user entered, the report could have 100, 200, 500, up to 1000 columns. User wants the report exported to EXCEL to do analysis.
Is this huge report possibly built and run in Oracle APPS? What are the major issues and limitations involved and what attentions I should give to design and build? Thanks in advance.

Since formatting is not important, I would use pl/sql. Pl/sql is better suited for dynamic sql. With utl_file you can write the results of your dynamic query to a csv fiel for import in Excel.

Is it possible to invoke other software applications in labview? I would like to upload my files processed in Labview to my web based database. I have no basis of FTP and SQL. Providing that I have no Internet Database Toolkit installed in my computer. So, is it possible to "call" the software in Labview, just like calling a function or sub VI?
