How do I fix apps that don't open after update?

Try a hard reset ie hold the power and home buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears (ignore the red slider). Are you still using iOS 4.3.3, as in your profile? A lot of apps now need an iOS of 6 or higher for the update to download.

During the process you sign in and approve the purchase KNOWING that another window will open saying that you have previously purchased it and that there is no charge. So what happened this time? It will not connect and all of my saved and current games are wiped out. I want my money back, this game interface is pretty junk and operates like some ancient DOS program,,bug,bug,buggy. Anyone else had problems with some photos not uploading recently?

I've been unable to transfer all photos from the desktop on iPhoto to the iPhone. It's never been a problem until this last import. They uploaded from the camera with no problem, just wont go onto iPhone. Any ideas?

Problem with Lightroom 5: how to connect the app with my original pictures which are on a external hard disk and, once this resolved, how to create virtual pictures

A friend has installed Lightroom 5 on my MacBook air. he transferred all my picture that were on my IPhone an on Iphoto on Lightroom but without making virtual copies systematically. He put the original (real?) pictures on a external hard disk under Data_photos folder to allow more memory space on my Mac book Air. My problem now that when I connect the external hard disk with my computer the connexion does not happen automatically. it is like if Lightromm does not recognize the path to get connected to the original/real picture and therefore I cannot see pictures with all their potential and I cannot work on these. I am stuck! What should I do to 1) create this link? 2) create then virtual copies in order to be able to work on my computer without been obliged to connect my external hard disk to be able to use the application Lightroom. The friend who helped me disappeared! He is not in Japan and unable to help me.I hope you can help me. I have been looking for support to apple stores, photo shops, computer specialists but I have not found the expert capable to help me. I am leaving in Geneva. Sorry, that "mail" thing isn't a standard part of Firefox. Seek support from the developer of the add-on you have installed that added that feature to Firefox. Support contact information should be on the download page for that extension.

iTunes Store menu > View My Account...
Sign in and select "See All" in Purchase History.
You can only see them in "batches" of ten. As far as I know there is no way to obtain a comprehensive summary.
The prices are tabulated in that list. If they were supposed to be free, and they show that you were charged, then click the arrow next to the suspect purchases and click "report a problem".

Problems with some fonts, need help!

Hi everyone,
Recently I need to create some documents in Pages and I found some problems with some of the fonts. Apparently some fonts when the font size is increased the spacing between characters gets reduced and ooks very weird.

I've tried all type of configs in pages and i'm really clueless what this is.
Can anyone please give me some pointers?

This leaves several files instaled. Among them are the preferences files. If you re-install with existing preferences files, these one aren't replaced by new, clean, ones.
Right, uninstalling the application does not necessarily uninstall its preferences. (Indeed, previous InDesign and QuarkXPress betas had the problem that they preserved the older preferences when the newer betas were installed which could lead to crashes.)
Arguably, system software has to have smart install / uninstall so that all the files installed by an application are removed, but then what about fonts and / or profiles installed with the application, which some other application may be using as a resource.
I don't know, but the word 'simple' and the word 'software' don't seem ever to be synonyms .

Try #5.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.
