Hi Guys, having trouble remembering all my passwords on all my devices for the many accounts that we all have. Surely there must be a better and more secure way to prove your identity for all these accounts? Please help my head is going to explode.

Sure, I have them all written down on scraps of paper about 4"X4"--maybe 50 total--and stored under a loose floorboard beneath the kitchen sink. If they get wet from a drain leak, I can easily dry them out in a warm oven at 200° for several minutes.
Besides that, I keep some in Keychain, but most are in Firefox saved passwords. I've never felt the need to do anything else. Where it's important, I use long random strings. And I don't let Firefox save passwords for anything that involves purchases from C Cards.
(Note: I really do have the ones written down on scraps of paper that I don't want to keep in a browser, but not really under a loose flooboard, etc.)

Try these steps:
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

Apps are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them.
Go to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and re-set th password for the old one.
Then, log into the app store with it and update the apps purchased with that ID. -

We do this in my family now. We have one account for purchases, so it is used to share music and apps (I think that is in Settings/iTunes & App Stores). Each iDevice has this configured.
Then, each of us has our own iCloud account that is configured under Settings/iCloud. That then allows us to have our own Mail/Contacts/Calendars/Reminders/Safari Bookmarks/Notes/Passbook/Photo Stream/Documents & Data/Find My iPhone/and Backup. That Backup piece is pretty sweet and comes in handly if you replace your iDevice. You can just restore from it.
So we all share the Apple Store account but we all have our own iCloud accounts to keep the rest seperate or things like you mentioned are a nightmare.

Think of it as an internet based ("cloud") area for all of those items listed in my response. What you need to remember is photo stream only maintans the last 1000 pictures so don't count it as a complete backup solution for your pictures. Even though I rarely sync with a computer these days, I do still try to sync my phone with iPhoto (I have an iMac) so that I have copies of all of my pictures. 1000 may not stretch as far as it sounds.

It's very simple. I've started using app tabs, and my first three are fine. Now I've created an app tab from my tab to the website http://www.thomasyoungcentre.org/index.html.
However, its app tab only appears as a white page, which isn't very memorable, especially as I find that some other websites I use have the same blank app tab. So I wonder if I can make a little custom icon of some kind to identify this website for me on its app tab. Alternatively, what do I need to tell the website managers that will enable this feature for us.You must realize that the quality of sound has been compromised by the very fact of compression and equipment. You are never likely to experience the nature of a live event by listening on an iPod. The best solution is to get a better quality of earbuds/ earphones/ headphones to improve the playback experience. The higher quality headphones such as Bose, Sennheiser, Sony have capabilities to counter ambient interference ( Bose noise-cancelling for example), and they have a better quality speaker than the Apple earbuds. This standard issue bit of kit is more of a courtesy to iPod buyers so that they will have something right out of the box in order to listen to their music but they are not the highest audio quality. The best audio quality will cost every bit as much as, or even more than, the cost of an iPod. As for turning up the volume, that is a foolish undertaking that can have long-term consequences on your hearing. Tinnitus cannot be cured! You will live with it unto your last days.

The balance between security and ease of use is way out of control with Apple. Where does Security end and Controlfreak begin I have a very secure password that I use on many really high security programs and applications where peoples lives, safety and finances are at risk. There has never ever been a problem because I have chosen the usernames and passords carefully, I use them all the time so I don't forget them. If I wrote different ones down so that I could access them from different locations that would be a huge violation of security.
This policy is so extreme that it makes the tools that Apple makes available. I have used Apple as my music management system for years. This has become so impossible that I am going to have to convert to another system. This will cause me time and work. This is quite un-necessary. Control freaks are hard to deal with.I give up, I'm going to go away.I have no idea what your issue is, but if you want to comment to Apple, use their feedback page:

Posting complaints here, and in particular threats to go to other products, where only we your fellow users will be likely to see them do no one any good. None of us here will really care if you decide that iTunes doesn't work for you and you have chosen to shift to some other product. That's you perogative as a consumer.

New MacBook Pro 15" won't authorize my iTunes to sync with my other Apple devices, iPad, iMac, iPod and other MacBook Pro 17" since I have authorized other devices (5 is the limit) that I no longer own.
How do I get passed this severe limitation? I also assume that my Apple TV won't be alowed to sync due to this limitation as well... any help with this would be greatly appreciated.Sign into your account in iTunes - from that page you should be able to deauthorise ALL 5 authorised computers - supposedly you can do this once a year.
Thereafter any devices you no longer have will be deauthorised, and you can reauthorise those you still have or are new.

I & a lot of my Thai friends are having a problem with the 4-row Thai keyboard coming with ios6. It is very tough & hard to type. We have more than 90% of typo. Is apple providing rthe old 3-row Thai keyboard to download? Please.....it is much better and more user-friendly.

Thanks.Can't agree more. I have no idea why they changed it. The old three row one was innovative and far easier to use. The vowels were all kept in one bucket button so they were easier to find. Wished people made more of a fuss so that they would add the old keyboard back and allow people the option to choose between the two. I no longer type in Thai as it's seriously too much effort.

i have problem with my wifi in 4 S, i cant connect to any wifi itried resetting network setting and reset all setting but the result was the same, its only keeps searching for wifi and cant find any, itried to use OTHER but also didnt work.please help me???
If Join was on then your home wi-fi must be set to Non-Broadcast. If you did not set this up (maybe your provider did) then you will need to find the Network Name they used, and any password they used. The SSID is Security Set ID and to see more try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSID . Basically it is the name used to identify your router/network. A lot of times the installer will leave it set as LinkSys, or Broadcom or whatever the manufacturer set it as for default. Your best bet is to get whoever installed it to walk you through how they set it up, giving you id's and passwords so you can get in. HOWEVER, if you are not comfortable with this (if you set security wrong, etc.) you would be well ahead of the game to hire a local computer tech (networking) to get this working for you. You can also contact the vendor of your router and get help (if it is still in warranty), or at least get copies of the manuals as pdf files. Sorry I can't give you more help, I hope this gives you an idea where to go from here to find more.

Everytime i eject my ipod and reconnect it all my music is gone. and sometimes while i try adding music to it. itunes completely freezes. please help. and sometimes when i plug it back into my PC i have to rename my ipod and such
Antivirus has a tendency to freeze iTunes sync Operation with iPod Classic, causing a timeout, which corrupt your iPod filesystem, so when iTunes can't read the iPod, it is pointing to this problem. Other causes is when your iPod hardisk is dying, or your battery is dying causing hardisk crashes.
My suggestion.
Connect your iPod to the PC and run chkdsk, to fix any iPod diskerror, then disconnect it, after chkdsk complete.
Disconnect your PC from Internet. (just to make sure no nasties creep into your system while you syncing.
Stop the Antivirus program
Connect your Ipod to the PC
When iTunes Open up, Restore your iPod please, this is for iTunes to map correctly, to fix the corrupted filesystem.
When Restore complete, eject the iPod and reconnect again.
Sync your ipod, preferably manually Manage in small batches and disconnect after every batch, to check that all is well, since you got such a huge library.
When all sync is complete, and iPod disconnected, start back your Antivirus and connect back the Internet.
If this doesn't resolve your problem, then let me know.

The Apple IDs from @mac.com and @me.com (Older MobileMe and more recent iCloud Names) are also Valid AIM Screen names.
Any other sort of Apple ID is not a Valid AIM Name.
A Google ID that is associated with Google Mail Account (And has "Talk" enable on your Google Settings) can be used in iChat as Jabber Name/ID. (Google Run Jabber server).
Jabber and AIM are different IM Services and it is not easy or straight forward to add Buddies from one Service to the Buddy List of another. (As A Starting point consider it "impossible")
iChat 4 and 5 have links to the registration page of @Mac.com here with a "Get an iChat Account" button in the add (Account) screen (You select @mac.com or MobileMe and then press the Button - Choosing AIM and then pressing the button used to lead to the AIM registration page but AIM moved their page).
Apple IDs can be any valid email (or an @mac.com or iCloud registration)
Therefore you could make a Google ID into an Apple ID.
However this will not be a valid AIM Screen Name the way @mac.com or MobileMe/iCloud ones are.

It's beta. It's no where near ready for prime time. It's put out there so that developers can start getting their products ready fo the new release.
I've been working in IT for over 25 years. People have gotten the wrong idea about what a beta is thanks to the likes of google, who release a product to market and call it "beta" just so they don't actually have to support it. I've beta tested operating systems going all the way back to OS/2 when it was still a joint Microsoft/IBM project. Believe me, you do NOT want beta versions of operating systems getting into the hands of the unwashed masses. It would quickly turn from 'getting rid of bugs' to outright revolt. -
My icloud account is not verifying it says check my mail witch I have done and I get a message say your iPhone for has been used to set up and Icloud account but still can not use the icloud can anybody help me.
Be sure you are checking the email account that you used to set up the Apple ID you used to create the iCloud account. Also, be sure to check your spam/junk folder as well as your inbox. The email you should receive looks like the image below. When you get it, click the Verify Now link.
If it still isn't there, try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right look for a link to resend the verification email. -
