You are not alone. Thousands have this problem, on various models of Macs. Short answer, it has something to do with the disk going to sleep (possibly?). You can't do anything about it and Apple won't address the problem. Maybe you should buy a time capsule. Just keep giving them money and use their proprietary equipment.

I can't even find my account. I've been billed thru iTunes, but can't find contact details for them either. I thought that I had cancelled it at one address but was billed for the next issue today so obviously I got that wrong. I'm in Australia, if that makes a difference. Look at you purchase history.
Open itunes, click on your name in the top right corner and go to your account and look.
BTW, there is no telephone support for itunes at all.

If you have Quicktime Pro you can rotate the video. There's a plugin for iMoive that can rotate clips. Go to MacUpdate.com and do a search for "rotate video" and you'll find several apps that can do the job and the plugin: MacUpdate: Search for '+rotate +video'

I made the backup from Firefox 3.6.12 with the backup program provided by Mozella. I made this backup from a prior computer and therefore do not have the restore program available, which is part of the backup program. I will have the same question for Thunderbird because I used the same program. PLEASE HELP!

That backup program isn't ''from'' Mozilla, it's a 3rd party program. You probably used MozBackup to do that PCV backup.
