I need to submit a form electronically which has been posted on a tender site in PDF format.
I followed the instructions and signed up to 12 mths of Adobe product which outlined that I would be able to convert PDFs to word.... however the box in the right hand "tools" column is still not highlighted.
I have pressed "convert" and then clicked on the blue writing saying "view converted files" and all that happens is a new tab opens with a rotating set of 4 blue squares !!!!!
Help please - how can I get this form in word format.....fast !!

Converting forms to Word almost never gives a usable form, the layout is too precise. In the worst case, official forms, this can lead to trouble. To fill forms stick exclusively to PDF.
If you can type in the PDF, do so.
If you can't, print it out and write on it, that's what they expect you to do.

Hi, Sylvain.
This is a great idea! Currently, ExportPDF only can export 1 file at a time. (Acrobat can do a batch export using it's Action Wizard feature.)

I only can repeat that what I found in Adobe's help sites, as I wrote above. Verifying that any iCloud account that may be signed in is signed out should resolve this error.
On your Mac, open iCloud preferences, then click Sign Out.

I've had all kinds of trouble keeping my iTunes software current over the past year, but have found the easiest way to remedy the issue is to simply download the latest version of iTunes as though I am a first-time user and then just install it into the directory my current version of iTunes is using. Doing this has allowed me to update my software without losing any of my media/data. Hope this helps! Best of luck!!!

Acrobat 9 Pro (not Standard) can export ("convert") PDF to Word, RTF, or other text formats.
Click-path: File - Export
Take your pick.
With install of Acrobat 9 the Help PDF is installed also.
From the this PDF's Bookmarks expand Chapter 5's bookmark and select "Convert PDFs to Word".

I just purchased ExportPDF and have tried to convert a PDF file to *.docx and *.rtf for the first time. In both cases I get a file that says there was an error is accessing the online service. What do I do?

Could you try these steps to alleviate the access issue you're having:
Choose Edit > Preferences (Win) or Adobe Reader > Preferences (Mac)
Click 'Online Services' on the left-hand side
Sign out of our Adobe ID and sign back in.
Try to convert your document again.
If you continue to have trouble, please verify that you can access the service via the web interface. To do this:
Open a browser and navigate to http://exportpdf.acrobat.com/signin.html
Try to log in with your Adobe ID (email address) and password
Once logged in, follow the on-screen prompts to convert a file
Let us know if you're still having trouble and we'll try to help!

When you say you cannot print, do you see any error? Please use Print button from Reader toolbar instead of Safari > Print.
What is your Safari version? You can find it from Safari > About Safari
Can you please verify Safari > Help > Installed Plugins : Do you see Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plug-in, Version 11.0.06?

I install Adobe Acrobat 9 in my laptop which runs on windows 7. I use Firefox 3.6.8 and have the problem with the PDF file. The problem is I cannot open the PDF file in Firefox web browser at the first time I launch firefox. It shows a warning box without any message. Only OK button is shown so I can close it. However, if I manage to open the PDF file from my local computer by just using adobe acrobat itself then the PDF can be opened in the Firefox web browser. I followed the instruction on the mozilla help but nothing works for me. The problem still exists. I wonder if anyone have the same problem like me and know how to solve this. Thank you so much

I cannot help you, but I think we have a common problem: We got a system here running Vista SP1 with Acrobat 9 standard on it. When we open a pdf file it works normally, but when we open another pdf file, we see the first one in that second window.
Think that missing option to watch several files within a single window-thing messed up more than meets the eye ... but as we just purchased the 15 licenses, we have to use version 9.
I didn't find any clues on this problem, but I will post any new hints I get.

Very slow times on iBooks when open PDF files after upgrading IOS 5

Hi,
After I had upgraded my ipad 1 to the new iOS 5 every time that I open a PDF file inside iBooks it takes, at least, one minut. After it works fine and I don't have special problems when I'm reading but on finishing it and returning to the library it takes one other minute. It's annoying!!
Inside the library I have about 200 pdf files.
Before my upgrading all worked fine!
Anyone has any suggestions?

Usually related to file associations in Windows. Right click on the PDF and select the Open With option and select Acrobat. Be sure to check "always open with."
