hi i have a scanner and its called Canoscan N67OU and im trying to get the driver but i couldnt get one . I have the cd software for installation but its not installing i think maybe because my macbook pro has tha latest operating system which is maverick, please if someone could help me on how to install the software/driver of my scanner on my macbook pro because i need to scan documents

I got new hard driver for my MacBook I don't have the cd but I do have flash drive that has the software I need help because when I turn on my laptop it shows me a file with question mark how can I install the software from the flash driver?
Hold down the Option key while you boot your Mac. Then, it should show you a selection of devices. Click your flash drive and it will boot from that.

Thank you for your suggestion. I backup on itunes. I went to itunes, deleted syncing my contacts, then re-synced them. But the Facetime capability option continues to be there on most (not all, for some curious reason) of my contacts. I am not sure I posed my question correctly. I want to be able to FT with my family, so don't want to delete the FT capability totally from my iphone and ipad. But I don't want all these other iphone calls from various contacts to ring on my ipad as FT calls. I want a way to select with whom I have FT capabilities. Any further suggestions? Read the system requirements for iCloud. It is not compatible with Snow Leopard which your system profile confirms you have.

Those aren't apps; they're bookmarks to websites. Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? If all else fails, you can just re-do the shortcuts.

I have Photoshop cs6 Ext on an ASUS laptop. How can I increase the font size of the contents of the FILTER Panel situated on bottom left of screen. The font size is extreamly small and almost unreadable. I have changed display parameters, not the resolution, to no avail.

You can default Firefox to a larger zoom level to avoid having to zoom every page. You'll still be able to adjust the size for individual sites as needed. It sounds as though you are aware of these add-ons:

There are some discussions about changing coming in Firefox 22 (I think) to address higher density displays like the Retina display. So perhaps there will be a built-in setting to address this in the future. -

Serial numnbers are platform specific so you will not be able to use it for the Mac if it was initially designated for a PC. YOu will need to perform a platform swap. See the following for information:

Since I upgraded to Elements 13, I have lost all my filters from 3rd party. How can I install them in version 13 that still are installed in version 11 and 12?

I am over capacity on my #GS iPhone and I have a very large amount of audio space that I think might be taken up by season one of Downton Abbey. I have tried to copy and save episodes to my external hard drive but I get a message saying I "don't have permission". How can I move the six episodes out iTunes ??

EXTREMELY poor idea! Leave the apps on the internal HD. You can move files and libraries from iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, Aperture, etc.. to an external HD but leave the apps them self on the internal HD.
Did you empty the Trash after moving all that data to the EHD?? -
My images are not related to the converted catalog, only preview works, tags and other information is given, but the (network) path to the original images is missing and is substituted by a local path with c:\. How can I solve the problem automatically ?

I have dropped my phone from a box above a door (don't ask!) and the screen is still not cracked (a miracle!) but the white backing case and silver bit between the screen and back case has sort of come apart the phone still works just wondered how much it costs to fix this problem

It happened while our EIS were saving a computer breakdown, but now i would like to know how to selectively delete the duplicates, without doing it individually. That is, can I set up iPhoto to automatically search for and delete duplicate photographs in the library?

I have recently tried to install the CD software for the above printer and although I can print wirelessly. The CD presents an error message saying that MAC os 10.7 is not supported. I have followed the instructions to install a software update from apple but no printer update appears in my updates window. What should I do? Can anyone forward me a link to the update?
