Hi I have an iphone and gave my ipod to my daughter how do i change it so i dont get her apps and music on my phone

I have purchased a iphone and gave my daughter the ipod touch, but when i purchase her music or apps they come to my phone as well how do i stop this, I am not very apple smart so need easy advise please.

When you connect the iPod to the computer either by wifi or USB, and click on the iPod under Devices in iTunes you will go to the various panes for the iPod. There are labled near the top of the screen from Summary, Info, Apps, Tones, Music, ....... Clcik on the lable to acccess/show that pane. If you click on the Muic pane there is check box for Sync Music. Under that there are circles for that yu dot with yur cursor to:
Sync the "Entire Library"
"Selected playlist, artists, albums and genres"
And a check boxrs for:
Including music videos
Include vice memos
You want to sync "Selected playlist, artists, albums and genres"
The Apps pane is sumilar.

You cannot. Purchases are permanently tied to the AppleID and its account used when making the purchase. You cannot transfer purchases.
The reality is you do not own the apps on that iPad - the previous owner does. If you want them for yourself and want to be able to update them as needed, or re-download them as needed, you will have to delete the copies on the iPad, then purchase them with your own AppleID.

All app purchases are permanently tied to their Apple ID. You will have to delete and repurchase the apps with a new ID. I would recommend wiping that iPad and setting it up with another ID.

Wipe iPhone/iPad/iPod touch clean
There are a few steps to do:
Switch off iMessage in Settings > Messages
Switch off FaceTime in Settings > FaceTime (iPod touch 4th Generation or later, iPhone 4 or later and iPad 2 or later)
Delete iCloud in Settings > iCloud > Delete Account
Finally Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
Un-register your device: https://supportprofile.apple.com
Now you can sell/give.
Now, you should get her a new Apple ID to sign in the options above.

If you want to keep your iCloud data, you would need to migrate your device and a copy of the data to a new account. To migrate to a new account, start by saving any photo stream photos you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; others keeping the account will not be effected by this), choose Keep on My iDevice and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data.
Once you are on your own account, you can go to icloud.com and manually delete any data you don't want in your account without effecting anyone else.

My husband and I are using the same iTunes account on all mac & pc computers, but the libraries are different on each machine. We always manually manage our music (no auto sync). iTunes is up to date on the PCs. My husband uses our joint iTunes account on his pc, but once again, has a different collection in his library from those on the other machines. He can't load any music from his PC to his iphone 4. I can load music from my mac library to my iphone 4s, but cannot load from my pc library to my iphone 4s. How can I switch my main library that it syncs with from the mac to the pc?

HT1495 My wife and I both have iPhone 4 we have different apps and music as well have different iTunes accounts but we share same computer when we update our phones to iTunes it gives me her apps and stuff on my phone is there way to prevent this

My wife and I only have one computer but we each have iPhone 4 everytime either of us update our phones it gives me her apps and visa versa we do make sure we sign in our iTunes account first is anything can do to prevent that from occuring

Also, make sure you have "Home Saring: on your computer's iTunes and all devices turned off.

If you didn't already do so, authorize your computer for the new ID by opening iTunes and going to Store>Authorize This Computer. Then sync your phone with iTunes.

Do you guys use the same computer with itunes on it? And the best way to get them off is to go into the Setting>Itunes & App Store and sign out of her appleid if it's listed there. Also just delete all of the apps from her appleid off your phone.

Sorry. We can't help you. It's no longer an iPhone. Apple won't touch it.
Take it to whoever replaced the screen and see if they can help you.
iPhones are not user servicable and Apple does not sell iPhone parts at all. I'd be surprised if you were actually able to back it up at this point. It sounds like it's completely borked.

make sure the itouch does not have your apple id in the Settings>icloud menu. It is completely different from the App Store.

I suggest each user have their own Apple ID, iCloud account and purchase apps and music individually.
But if you must share the one account use the Settings app to stop syncing Contacts.
Settings > iCloud > Turn off Contacts.
