Hi, i updated to firefox 8. i cant even get firefox to start. it states a previous update needs to take effect and a reboot is needed. but nothing happens.

i updated to firefox 8. i now cant get firefox to operate at all.
it asks to reboot pc everytime i try to start or uninstall.
nothing happens after reboot as you try to start firefox again and it askes the same thing

Do the following, then try again:
1.     Close all open apps: Double click on the Home key and then swipe up on each of the thumbnails that appear above the open app icons
2.     Sign out of the iTunes store: Settings>iTunes & App Store, click on your Apple/iTunes ID, then sign out
3.     Check Settings>Safari, and make sure that "Block Cookies" is not set to "Always". If it is, change it to either of the other two options
4.     Make sure you do not have Restrictions turned on. If they are turned on, make sure that access is allowed for Safari, iTunes Store, Installing Apps, and Deleting Apps
5.     Reset your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Silver Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays sign back into iTunes and try again

Update 4.01 asks to update, I say yes it appears to update then in the last step it goes back up to the update center and cannot connect, the update does not take effect and it keeps asking

I allow update 4.01 to update got thru all the steps and at the last step it goes back out to the update and cannot connect, the update does not take effect.

Sign out of your account on the iPad, restart the iPad and then sign back into your account.
Settinsg>Store>Apple ID - tap the ID and sign out.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
After restarting go to Settings>Store and sign in again.

I downloaded the new update ios7.0.6 on my ipod touch 5g and all is says on the screen is connect to itunes so i did and it told me to update and restore so i did but nothing happened all it says is waitung for ipod. I dont know how to fix it!!

I excepted firefox update and wish I never got involved with it I am so upset, it changed toolbars and everything and now I cant even get anyone to help. maybe you have a suggestion or you want to fix this since it was your update that created this mess

I am trying to click on a 'zoom' button to enlarge a table or photo but nothing happens other than "javascript:void(null)" appearing in bottom left corner of Firefox window. How can I correct this?

Other times the Wi-Fi connection works fine and it check e-mail or other within few seconds. The connection problems seems to be intermitted
This issue never happened before with IOS 5 since I bought the new phone in Oct 2011.

We suffered the imap.gmail.com server problem After an IoS 6 upgrade. The simple solution is to delete the problem account, shut down the iPad, start up again and reenter the account. Everything comes back normally. Good Luck everyone!

In firefox I am unable to submit information via form buttons. The buttons are present and clickable but nothing happens once they are clicked.

I am having trouble submitting information via form buttons. I click on the button but nothing happens. It isn't site specific and is a problem that has only started to happen recently. I have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it without any rememdy. The problem does not replicate itself in Chrome or Internet Explorer. Can anyone advise what maybe the problem? Is it s a javascript setting within firefox that I may have accidentally turned off? Please help.

I am pretty sure you had the same diagnosis and solution to start it in safe mode, and if it does work, go disabling each extension one by one until you determine which extension is the culprit.

I am so sorry for the inconvenience caused. However this is just because Adobe Acrobat 7.0 is an outdated version & the now the activation server for it does not exist.
Please refer to the following KB doc. Error: "Activation Server Unavailable" | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3
The above link will help you to install a special version that does not require activation.

Since Apple's last Update on 6 June 2014, I have been unable to Import photos from any source. I receive a message saying, Importing photos but nothing happens. When I click on Stop Import, nothing happens. I must press the On/Off button to exit iPhoto.

Since Apples last update on 6 June 2014, I have been unable to Import photos from ANY source. When I attempt to do so, I receive the message "Import Preparing to inmport..." I've waited 10 minutes but nothing happens. When I click on the icon, Stop Import, nothing happens. When I attempt to Close iPhoto i receive the message, "Photos are being imported to the photo library. Please wait for import to complete." When I click on OK, nothing happens. The only way I can exit iPhoto is to press the On/Off button.

After loading this file I was sucessful in importing photos from a web site, my camera memory card and a CD containing photos.
That is a good news. We now know, that iPhoto is working as expected, when you are switching to a different library.
But this is puzzling:
I then see a box with two Librarys listed, both have the same name except for the following and are listed as:
iPhoto Library.photolibrary but one has (default) after its name which is the one which is always displayed when I load iPhoto.
Underneath the box is written:
/Users/paulfkardian/Pictures/iPhoto Library.photolibrary
Underneath this are three boxes titled: Other Library Create New Choose
I highlighted the the File without the (default) after its name and clicked on Choose. A Library was loaded which had my photos (about 9,822) from about 7 months ago. Underneath the box is written diferently than the file always loaded and says:
/Users/paulfkardian/Pictures (original)/iPhoto Library.photolibrary
You are having two "Pictures" folders in your Home folder, Pictures and Pictures (original)? And each has a different iPhoto library - one working correctly, and one not? Do you remember, when this second "Pictures" folder has been created and what caused it? Did you restore your Home folder from a backup some time ago?

Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created.
