Hi, iPak II user. Two keyboard keys won't work, and the picture goes haywire sometimes, flashing itself, bak to old stuff, typing in the safari line, all this going on vey fast. Any fixes out there?

Sounds like it could be a hardware problem.
Try a restart or reset to see if that helps. If not, contact Apple Support.
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.

Lion is Not compatible with PPC (Power PC) based software, such as your older version of PhotoShop. Your choices are you can either upgrade to the newer version of PhotoShop, or you can backup your data and apps, erase your harddrive and reinstall Snow Leopard.

Keys won't work and switches off

Hi,
Suddenly today my curve stopped working. The keys will not work and it turns itself off. The rollerball still works though but you can not use it to select.
I have read a couple of incidences like this on other forums but no solution.
Does anyone know what causes this?

Routinely the keys not working is the first symptom of moisture damage. Even in your bathroom during a steamy shower can cause this.

Just updated to 10.9.2 and my function keys won't work and mouse won't scroll!

Updated to OS X 10.9.2 last night and my function keys wont work today. the brightness keys do nothing and my volume keys jump to desktop and the calendar display. My mouse has also stopped scrolling. I have looked in system settings > Keyboard but there doesnt seem to be any answers.
Help much appriciated

Illustrator (CS6) crashes when opening in Yosemite. Any fixes out there?

I've just jumped from Snow Leopard to Yosemite. I missed out Mavericks because I was too concerned about downtime while bugs got fixed and never got round to doing it. Stupidly I took the opposite approach this time and went straight for the jugular – downloading Yosemite as soon as I could.
Unfortunately Illustrator is not working now and I need a quick fix. As soon as it opens it crashes. It asked me to update Java so I did what I was told. Still nothing.
Please, any help is gratefully received...

I have removing every one that I have and nothing has worked thus far.
I deleted Vector Scribe Studio, FontExplorererX and that is all I had... still nothing.
What did you remove and/or update?

My Iphone 3 shuts off while on safari for no reason at all. Any fixes out there for this?

It's been doing this for a couple months now. I've got the latest soft ware installed. It will shut down every time I'm on safari or any of my apps that connect to the internet like gps. Anyone know what is going on or have a fix for this? It works fine when I walk through the door at home and it connects to the wifi.

Sounds like it's physically broken. Make sure you're backing it up on a regular basis and keep your fingers crossed that it lasts till you get your new phone.

Songs stopping for a few seconds during playback in both my iPad 2 and my iPod. Running latest iTunes on both. Any fixes out there? It is extremely annoying.

Connect your iPod to iTunes and check on the Device/Podcasts pane; there are several options for which Podcasts are "kept on/left on" the iPod at each Sync. Are they set the way you want? For instance, if the setting is "to keep on the iPod only new Podcasts", that would cause older Podcasts to be removed.
If you need to chnage the setting, you will need to Sync the iPod afterwards for the change to take effect.

Any ideas out there?

I apologize for my confusion on your question. I find that depending on the principal of each photo and my target audience to determine the time frame for each photo. It seems most people get impatient with viewing one photo for more than 1-2 seconds if the photo is not complex.
If there are several things that interests the viewers in any one image, they want to look at it a second or two longer. If the movie of images is a training aid, the images may need to be more than 3 seconds. For intro's, or a trailer for a training movie, no longer than 1-2 seconds.
That was a long answer to say, generally speaking, I find 3 seconds to be an average time length.

IBook G4 "K" Keyboard Key dosen't work without using the "Shift" keyboard key.

When did your iBook start doing this? Are there any
other applications open that may have a keyboard
shortcut? The System Preferences> keyboard> may
show a few things that can be set, options. Also see
if there isn't something set in Universal Access. A few
of the preference settings in universal access can be
engaged by just a few keys, and can be shut off there.
{Check into Voice Over Utility, as there is a pile of stuff
in there, which could allow sounds when keyboarding
and capitals can activate. Only if it's been set.}
And the Speech system preference panel can allow
a key to be set for several functions. Mine do not
have any assigned, and by default none should be.

Well that still didn't make any kind of difference. I would just do without it but I've becomes really use to it with Avid for so long. I have to admit there are a lot of small moments like this that makes me miss Avid. Any other suggestions? I have checked the keyboard shortcuts a few times and maybe I'm just missing something here...

I'm using iOS 7.04 on my iPhone and basically can't use it. The screen is going crazy. I type and special characters show up. I have to hit send more than once (it grays out, then hit again) then it sends. I type words in text or email and it backspaces and deletes my entire message. I tap an application and it starts wiggling to delete. I've reboot several times. I'm looking at restoring, but that is a pain in the arse (it's my work phone). I'm nervous it will not restore properly.

Download to your iTunes library and
- First try syncing to the iPod
- Next backup the iPod to iTunes and then restore from backup. See:
