Hi! The cable for my ipod broke(6mos after purchase from the states). Is the warranty still applicable in the apple stores here in the Philippines?
So my cousin bought me an ipod 5th gen and sent it here in the Philippines. 6 months later, the cable became unusable. It doesn't charge my ipod anymore. I'm wondering, since it wasn't bought at the apple store here in the Philippines, is the warranty still applicable? Can I still exchang my cable for a new one through the apple stores here in the country? Help!
It is hardly Apple's fault that Epson can't/won't update their driver, but at least Epson suggest that you use the Gutenprint driver, which in any case is far better that what Epson offer.

I supsect you did the update on other than your syncing computer. If yu did the app, music and synced photo will not be on the iPod after the update since those items are not in the backup that iTunes makes. See:

The above applies to all updates performedvia USB on a computer. To get stuff back, restore from backup on the syncing computer.

You should go to a nearest Phone Repairs store near you , and they should be able to help you there ! Otherwhise search online for iPad screen repair and send your device by post to an apple store or to a repair store !

When I sync my iPod some of my purchases from iTunes transfer, but some do not. When I try to drag the songs onto the iPod icon it shows the 'crossed out' symbol and won't move them. I've tried synching from multiple computers that are all connected with home sharing but it still didn't do the trick.
Installing iTunes does not cause content to magically appear on the computer.
Your media is only where you put it.
iOS devices are not backup devices.
Copy the media from the old computer to the new computer. -

Now I am in Saudi Arabia, and there is no Apple Store here , What is the procedure in this case?The warranty is only valid in the country where you bought the phone. To get it serviced by Apple, you'll have to bring it back personally, Apple does not ship internationally.
If you can't bring it back to Apple in Canada, your only other chance is to search for a 3rd party repair shop. An Authorized Apple Service Provider in your country will not service the phone, sorry. -

Thanks!Yes, as long as you buy a new device from an Apple Authorized reseller (which BestBuy is) then you have the normal Apple one year warranty with it. Apple will honor that warranty in any of their stores, and anyone with any Apple device is welcome in any Apple retail store with questions or seeking help.

As far as I know, all the iPhones bought online or in the Apple Store ar unlocked.
Only carriers (e.g. T-mobile, Vodafone, O2) are able to lock a phone, Apple won't do that (afaik).
This would mean that you shouldn't need to unlock your iPhone.

Sounds like you have a phone that was hacked to unlock it. Updating has re-locked it to the original carrier. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Contact them.

Because the warranty for your iPod touch does not cover manufacturing defects with your iPod Nano. You are talking about and dealing with two seperate products.
