    vendor refunds and customer receivables are both incoming payment and they both look like a receipt on the bank statement. Can SAP helf the accounting staff distinguish on the bank statement between a customer and vendor receipt?

    Please look into your bank statement there must be difference between external transaction of incoming payment from customer and refund from vendor. And if there is no difference bank using same transaction there must be some note in 86: line level which will tell you the type of payment.
    For segregate these incoming payment you use String matching functionality in EBS for your external Transaction type with your posting rules.

    With out invoice how to repay the money and receipt also this is not down payment

    First of all, please know how this is treated in the books of accounts of the Client.  Ascertain the legality of this transaction.
    If you want to treat this as a loan, you can do it by posting the amount to a GL account say, for ex. "Loan from others" or so.

  • Cancelation of Vendors return delivery document  ( 122 Movment type)

    Dear All,
    We have a case where in all vendor receipts are quality checked and in case a quality lot is rejected a returns delivery is crated to the vendor with SD returns delivery type RLL..
    We want to reverse this returns delivery and accept the the quality rejected lot. Can you please suggest how to do the same.
    We tried to reverse the returns delivery with transaction VL09 we got an error " the vendor rejection returns delivery type RLL cannot be reversed.
    We also tried out transaction  MIGO Cancellation option and got an error "material document cannot be processed"
    Please suuggest the procedure to reverse this material document.

       We also have the same scenario like yours.But I am struggling to get the pricing details from the purchasing document. I don't know how to control this function.Material price and ED elements to be copied from the reference purchase document.How are you handling this? Kindly reply me soon.

    Posting a Return Delivery with Reference to the Purchase Order
    Choose the Enjoy transaction MIGO for posting goods movements. Enter the purchase order. In goods-receipt-based invoice verification, the system displays all the GR items. Choose the items that you want to return, specify the quantities, and choose movement type 122.
    Posting a New Goods Receipt with Reference to a Return Delivery
    If you receive a substitute delivery after you have returned goods to a vendor, it is advisable to reference the associated return delivery by using a reverse posting when you post the new goods receipt. This enables the system to suggest and update the data for this particular business process. This is particularly important in goods-receipt-based invoice verification, so that the link between the goods receipt, the return delivery, and the invoice remains intact (see also Subsequent Delivery).
    The table below shows which reversal movement types you can use to reference the associated return delivery.

    For example, if you posted the goods into goods receipt blocked stock using movement type 103, you return them using movement type 124 (return delivery from goods receipt blocked stock). To post the substitute delivery back into goods receipt blocked stock, you do not use movement type 103, but reverse the material document for the return delivery. The system automatically suggests movement type 125, which maintains the link between the goods receipt, the return delivery, and the invoice.

  • Why would this happen?

    today i created an A/P invoice Eur2547.85 for our vendor which is using Euro currency, after I did the invoice, i create a credit note Eur1418.84 from that invoice directly, all using FC - Euro. however when i go to the vendor receipt ageing report, i found out the amounts shown in the report are totally different from those orignal doc amount. but the balance of those two docs show the right figure in the business partner module balance. Anyone could tell why this happens, the amounts are so different?

    When You open Vendor Aging, is the exchange rate for Eur same with the Inovice ?
    because base knowledge, The aging will use current rate then show up the invoice foreign curr. example.

  • Trouble with executing RTP using fnd_transaction.synchronous

    Background: We have an existing PL/SQL program executed via a concurrent program that processes RECEIVE type receipts. This program inserts RECEIVE type records into the RCV_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE table for further processing by executing the Receiving Transactions Processor in a subsequent concurrent program stage. All receive receipts are currently processed in batch mode with the RTP.
    We are now trying to implement three way match. Part of the process involves handling RETURN TO VENDOR and CORRECT type receipts. Unfortunately, according to 360340.1 on Oracle Support, return to vendor is a two step process (at least for us). I've noted that simultaneously inserting the RETURN TO RECEIVING and RETURN TO VENDOR receipt records into the RCV_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE table and having the RTP process both these records in one fell swoop does NOT work. It errors out and I get the following error in PO_INTERFACE_ERRORS:
    The Quantity entered for receipt is greater than the available Quantity. The sum of quantity to be received and already received, 10, is greater than the sum of ordered quantity and over receipt tolerance, 0.
    Interestingly, a return to vendor receipt works if I insert the RETURN TO RECEIVING record first, then run the RTP, then insert the RETURN TO VENDOR record, then run the RTP. Thus, I need separate executions of the RTP in order for this to work. Can someone tell me if I can do this with one execution of the RTP batch mode? Would I have something wrong in the RETURN TO RECEIVING and RETURN TO VENDOR records in the RCV_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE table? I know this has to be a two step return process (RETURN TO RECEIVING and RETURN TO VENDOR), but I'm wondering why I can't just execute the RTP once - why do I have to execute it twice?
    If I have to execute the RTP twice, then it leads me to the question addressed in the subject of this message. My current design is I would like to execute the RTP via fnd_transaction.synchronous after each record is inserted into the RCV_TRANACTIONS_INTERFACE table. I've tried executing the RTP via fnd_transaction.synchronous after the insert of RETURN TO RECEIVING and RETURN TO VENDOR, but it does not work for me. In fact, I've tried executing the RTP via fnd_transaction.synchronous after the insert of a receive transaction (RECEIVE) just for testing - and it does not work. I've turned on debugging and I see an ORA-1403 error in the fnd_concurrent_debug_info table:

  • J1Ih error for return sales

    Dear All,
    I have done a return sales and returns delivery. Out of 10 items 5 items got returned. While doing J1IH (adjustment entry) the BED value is automatically getting captured by system for full 10 items. Can anyone pls solve this error?
    if iam wrong pls tell me how to do adjustment entry fo rreturn sales.

    If it is return , rather than doing reversing the ED paid entry, I think you should claim the Modvat like other Vendor receipt.
    This is the process , which most of the clients now follow.
    They do not reverse the ED paid entry as it may create a ambiguity if retruns comes after utilization has been done.
    Better process is , you should create a J1IEX entry ( without PO) and take the hit into RG23A.
    Only thing in J1iex , you have to create a Dummy Vendor. This vendor is just a information.

    Kindly check whether you have created document types for the following transactions in FBCJ :
    Vendor Payment; Vendor Receipt; Customer Payment ; & Customer Receipt apart from
    GL account document
    In FBCJC0, have you assigned these document types in the relevant coloumn for each
    cash journal and CJ Cash GL account.

  • Abap coding in SAP query (SQ01)

    Hi,
    By using the a table like for MSEG if i want to retrieve data for the movement type 101 (receipts from vendor), i can build a query using this table and retrieve data - my problem starts when the system shows individual line items instead of cumulated result as mentioned in the following example.
    Example :-
    for the date 01.07.2007 - i have 10 entries (101 movement) of quantity 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 against a vendor V1. - the query lists all the 10 entries.
    But what is required is the cumulated entry against the vendor like shown below
    vendor    receipt
    V1         55.
    What abap coding should be written (provide the sample code) and the where should it be written in the query transaction SQ01

    Hi Magesh,
    If you do not wish to see the detail lines, then you do not need to create them.  Just create the Statistics portion only.
    If you wish to see 'summarized Vendor quantity by day', then you might sort on Vendor first, then posting date second.  Or, vice versa, depending on your business requirement.  I would think that you might also wish to include Material in the sort, since each Material is probably valued differently.

  • GR/IR:  Open receipts with vendor name

    Hello SAP Gurus-
    I am not sure if we are doing something wrong but we are currently reconciling our GR/IR account and what we noticed is that when we added the vendor name to the report with the help of an OSS note, we noticed that it gives us all transactions that make up the balance however it isn't what we wanted exactly.
    What we were looking for was once we execute MR11 and handle all differences, we want to see only open receipts with the Vendor name.  How can we achieve this?  Is there a report?  Should the GR/IR account be set up as a clearing account?
    Any help/ insight is greatly appreciated!

  • Vendor expected receipts report

    I am looking for a report of expected receipts which can be used to forecast cash needs as well as vendor exposure. This needs to encompass both POs and PAs.
    I have reviewed some of the standard evaluations (ME2M, ME2L, etc) which do not contain the data I need, nor do they have a useful output format. I have also looked at ME2V (which appears to be completely useless to me, as it doesn't even show a material number, just quantities and weights by date).
    I have found some information in other threads which indicate to create a custom ABAP. I cannot believe there isn't a standard R/3 report which would list vendor, purchasing doc, material, qty and price.
    Can someone please help?

  • Goods receipt report by vendor

    Hi,
    Is there a standard SAP report which sums up the goods receipt for specified materials for a given vendor and a time period?
    I have tried reports such as MC$4 and MC$G but they show goods receipt quantity for purchase orders which have been created within the given time period.
    MB51 goods movement with parameter WE shows me all the goods receipt and goods return for a material for a specified time period but it is too detailed and shows me the various movements. I just need the total quantity of goods receipts for specified materials from a vendor for a given time period.

            I think mb51 is the apt report...filter by movement type 101 (G.R.N) and from the list filter the materials and vendor...a bit lengthy process but will work.

    Is there any place else they can view vendor, vendor name for those good receipt documents .

    Please go to FBL1N, In Dynamic Selection give document as "WE", this will give and enable Purchase Order Number
    This will give you Vendor Name, Purchase Order and  FI Document number or u can try MB51, there you will not get Vendor Name, but you will get Vendor Code, Material Document Number and Purchase Order Number

    You can untick it from vendor master and info record.
    1. Using MK02 - Go to purchasing data and the untick the GR-based Iv
    2. In info record for the vendor and particular material - purchasing organization data1
