Imported files will go into any smart playlists that they qualify for. If new playlists are being created as you import folders then the folders contain m3u playolist files made by another application and iTunes is importing those too. You can search for and delete these before import, use http://albumbrowser.klarita.net/itfw.html instead of iTunes' Files > Add folder or use my script KillTopLevelPlaylists after the import.

How are you creating the file, exactly?

All downloads from iTunes are tied to the account that downloaded it, you can't re-download content via a different account. You checked the spam folder on yourr old account as well as the Inbox, and depending upon how long ago you did it, have you retried getting it reset : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password' ?

This happens when someone drags the HD or a system folder icon to the iPhoto Window by accident. Solution: restore from back up created before this occurred.

When you quit firefox with tabs and windows open it "remembers". When you start Firefox it tries to restore the tabs and windows you had open.
You may also want to check the preferences for Firefox:

That is probably a lot of stuff you do not want on your iPhone. So this can be handled a few different was. For you current situation, you can delete the apps directly on your iPhone by holding on the app until it starts to jiggle and then tap on the X of all the apps that you do not want. The second thing you can do is before you sync with iTunes, look at the app section on your iPhone to know what gets transfer to it and you can deselect items that you do not want. Lastly, if you download content on your iPad and it is a universal app, you can actually download it directly to your iPhone by looking at your past purchases and download it directly from the App Store. After deleting songs manually from my phone, (say, I have a song on there twice and only want one or I realize I don't want a song on my iPhone) when I try to manually pick a song in the music app on my phone, the song that plays will be one that is a number of songs above the one I chose. If I delete a number of songs, it may be four or five songs above the one I want to play. It continues after I sync it in iTunes. How do I stop this? Thanks, Gregg

Have you tried resetting the device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if your Music app is behaving normally.

You are getting entagled in the two confusing meanings of the term pixels, namely as a unit identical to points and equalling 1/72 inch, and the basic component of raster images (and effects).

Once Firefox is open, you should be able to open the Right click context menu on the icon. From there you select 'Options' and then de-select 'Open at Login'. Hope that helps.
