Hidden Element Value Quoted by APEX

Hi all together,
today I upgraded my htmldb from version 2.0.0.49 to 2.2.1.
Now it seems like Apex is processing my elementvalues in a different way than before.
I have a hidden element P1_TITLE, with some calculated HTML in it.
Second I have a region, which gets its title attribute from &P1TITLE.,
but with v2.2.1 the html entities in the string are quoted:
<a class="t9SHHeader" style="text-decoration:none" href="javascript:hideShow('region5','shIMG5','/i/themes/theme_jnj_wf/rollup_plus_dgray.gif','/i/themes/theme_jnj_wf/rollup_minus_dgray.gif');"><img style="vertical-align:middle;margin-right:5px;margin-left:0px" src="/i/themes/theme_jnj_wf/proc_action.gif" />Appropriation Requests, die auf eine Aktion von mir warten (0)</a>
Does someone know how to disable quoting?

Christian - See Re: Computed Region TItles being Escaped in Apex 2.2 You can change the hidden item to be an application item or a Display as Text (does not save state) page item with a Never display condition. In all cases, the value will have to be established using a process or computation.

  • Get row element value of a Apex report into an item on an event

    Hi,
    I am trying to assign the column value of the report into an page item. Since i used a group by to display rows on date value I cant pick the particular row date value.
    Please help me to resolve this issue.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    use a managed bean that accesses the binding layer's current row and set the attribute value of the table iterator to the value of p_idrole. The value of p_idrole is accessible from a JSF binding (component's binding property).Just access the textfield reference and call the getValue on it

  • Hidden field value init. by a var in Netscape && MSIE ...

              Hi there,
              I have a hidden field specified this way :
              <input type = "hidden" name = <%=myName%> value = "<%=myValue%>">
              Suppose that myValue is 'Ionut RUSUBOCA'
              If I run this with Netscape 4.75 it works just fine.
              If I run this with Microsoft IE 5.50.4522.1800 I get an error that points to the
              way the hidden field value is specified.
              If I change ...... value = "<%=myValue%>" ..... to .... value = <%=myValue%>
              ... ( that is, if I remove the double quotes ) then MSIE is Ok but ... instead
              of 'Ionut RUSUBOCA' I only get 'Ionut'.
              Could you, please, help me make MSIE see the correct value that is 'Ionut RUSUBOCA'
              ? ( like Netscape )
              Which browser are not W3C compliant in this matter ?
              Thank you,
              rivisa

              Thanks for the reply.
              Well, I quoted everything and still does not work with MSIE.
              Indeed, when I quote value="<%=myValue%>", I get in MSIE value = "Ionut RUSUBOCA"
              but it does not make any difference : it breaks.
              If I take out the quotes ( value = <%=myValue%> ) then the source is viewed as
              value = Ionut RUSUBOCA and when the form
              gets submitted I only get 'Ionut' as value.
              This is weird, so to speak.
              Can you reproduce this thing in your system ?
              Thanks,

    Hii,
    I am quite newbie about jsp and looking for some help..
    I have several url links on my jsp page.
    I when I click one of them, I want to reload my page with new request parameter(s) but also keep the older one(s) in hidden field(s)...
    but I dont know how to set and get hidden field value "syntax" and I am not sure about where/when should I do this... at first I though that I can do it in "onClick" property of url..
    Thanks..

    Hy,
    I have a problem just like that. I am trying to send the value of an subdomain is to another page to be able to modify an entry.
    So in listsubdomains.jsp I have
    <input type = "hidden" name = "subdomainid" value="<%=subdomains.SubdomainID%>"><%=subdomains[i].SubdomainID%>.
    This shouls send the id of the subdomain.
    I an sending this to modifysubdomain.jsp with <form name = "listsubdomains" method = "post" action = "modifysubdomain.jsp">
    and there I retrieve the value like this:
    Integer id = new Integer (request.getParameter("subdomainid"));
              out.println(request.getParameter("subdomainid"));
    My problem is that no matter what is the value I chose to modify it always sends the first value. If I another value manually it works, but just then.
    Please give me some ideas.

  • Exception in assigning XML elements value in Workshop

  • Problem with ParseEscapedXML with " " in element value

    I'm having trouble with using getContentAsString, manipulating using a translate in a java embed, and then converting back using ParseEscapedXML. The trouble is occuring when there are "<" and ">" as element values. I'm not sure of a good way to convert the ">" to an escape value for only element values.
    I haven't been able to get the xsl:character-map function to work.
    Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

    HL7 is a flat file old style pipe and bar format for healthcare messaging. It has a section that lists the delimeters, which usually looks something like:
    MSH|^~\&|PMS|ASF|||200704200000||ADT^A04|1177045234.756.19114|P|2.4|||AL|AL
    Where the "&" is designated at the subcomponent separator. When Oracle's B2B tool parses the message and sticks it into an XML format it would break up the fields incorrectly if I had the customer put & lt ; in the flat file. I'm also trying to build a solution that is able to deal with this kind of issue without effecting the source feed.

  • Container element value late update in ECC6

    Hi All,
    I have a problem with container element "RECEIVED" which has incomplete value. I'm using function SAP_WAPI_READ_CONTAINER (simple container) in my custom object ZBUS2081 method priceapproval. When 2nd person want to approve the workitem, the container value of element name "RECEIVED" only has previous approval person instead of table that has 2 line values (previous person who has already approved and 2nd person who want to approve this workitem).
    We have upgrade our SAP version from 4.7 into ECC6/ERP6, which in 4.7 version this container element returned table of 2 line values.
    Since the container element value has late to update the value, then it did not recognise as a final approval at the end of workflow step and raise an error for agent determination. If there is any related SAP note, please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Charlie

    Hello Charlie !
                Your RECEIVED container stores approver details.
                Please check the binding between method container to task container to workflow container.Imperfect binding could be a reason why approver details are not populated properly.It seems your container is multiline container.Make sure the method,task and workflow containers are multiline enabled.
               Check at SWO1, whether the PRICEAPPROVAL method behaves as expected and if you are using rule for agent determination, you have to check the rule at PFAC as well as binding details.Also check at workflow log.
                Hope you have delegated ZBUS2081.

  • How to call pl/sql function from element values

    EBS 11.5.10.2
    XMLP 5.6.3
    Hello,
    I noticed that the output of the rdf-to-data template conversion process makes use of an undocumented feature of data templates, and I would like to get input from experts as to which situations this feature is usable.
    The closest thing I can find in the documentation is a sample in the user guide. There is a "General Ledger Journals Data Template Example" that has a <dataStructure> section that contains <element> nodes which are NOT children of a <group> node. I can't find any explanation of this in the user guide.
    I've noticed from converted templates that in these un-grouped elements you can make calls to PL/SQL functions in the "value" attribute, like this:
    <dataStructure>
      <group name="G_LINES" source="Q_MAIN">
        <element name="Line_Num"           value="Line_Num"/>
      </group>
      <element name="C_CALCULATED_VALUE" dataType="number" value="XX_CUSTOMPROCS.SOME_FUNCTION"/>
    </dataStructure>Has anyone had any success being able to call PL/SQL functions from grouped elements? Whenever I try, it doesn't seem to work.
    When I try something like this:
    <dataStructure>
      <group name="G_LINES" source="Q_MAIN">
        <element name="Line_Num"           value="Line_Num"/>
        <element name="some_calculation"   value="XX_CUSTOMPROCS.SOME_FUNCTION"/>
        <element name="some_calculation_b" value="XX_CUSTOMPROCS.SOME_FUNCTION_B(:Line_Num)"/>
      </group>
      <element name="C_CALCULATED_VALUE" dataType="number" value="XX_CUSTOMPROCS.SOME_FUNCTION"/>
    </dataStructure>The <SOME_CALCULATION/> and <SOME_CALCULATION_B/> nodes come out empty in the output data xml file, but <C_CALCULATED_VALUE> would have a value as desired.

    ah - perfect. That makes sense. Thank you for the response!
    But what about when we need to pass parameters to those functions whos values are the results of aggregate element values?
    This happens a lot in the converted data templates, where pl/sql package functions are meant to replace formula columns from the original Oracle Report. Take this example from the conversion of ARXAGMW.rdf (Aging Report, 7 Buckets):
    (note the function call in the value of "Set_Percent_Inv_Inv" is using aggregate results from subgroups)
      <group name="G_INV_INV" dataType="varchar2" source="Q_Invoice">
        <element name="Total_Inv_Inv_Amt" function="sum" dataType="number" value="G_Invoice.C_Amt_Due_Rem_Inv"/>
        <element name="Total_Inv_Inv_B0" function="sum" dataType="number" value="G_Invoice.C_Inv_B0"/>
        <element name="Total_Inv_Inv_B1" function="sum" dataType="number" value="G_Invoice.C_Inv_B1"/>
        <element name="Total_Inv_Inv_B2" function="sum" dataType="number" value="G_Invoice.C_Inv_B2"/>
        <element name="Total_Inv_Inv_B3" function="sum" dataType="number" value="G_Invoice.C_Inv_B3"/>
        <element name="Total_Inv_Inv_B4" function="sum" dataType="number" value="G_Invoice.C_Inv_B4"/>
        <element name="Total_Inv_Inv_B5" function="sum" dataType="number" value="G_Invoice.C_Inv_B5"/>
        <element name="Total_Inv_Inv_B6" function="sum" dataType="number" value="G_Invoice.C_Inv_B6"/>
        <element name="Set_Percent_Inv_Inv"  dataType="number"  value="XX_CUSTOMPROCS.XXC_ARXAGMW.set_percent_inv_invformula(:Total_Inv_Inv_Amt, :Total_Inv_Inv_B0, :Total_Inv_Inv_B1, :Total_Inv_Inv_B2, :Total_Inv_Inv_B3, :Total_Inv_Inv_B4, :Total_Inv_Inv_B5, :Total_Inv_Inv_B6)"/>
        <element name="Sum_Percent_B0_Inv" dataType="number" value="XX_CUSTOMPROCS.XXC_ARXAGMW.Sum_Percent_B0_Inv_p"/>
        <element name="Sum_Percent_B1_Inv" dataType="number" value="XX_CUSTOMPROCS.XXC_ARXAGMW.Sum_Percent_B1_Inv_p"/>
        <element name="Sum_Percent_B2_Inv" dataType="number" value="XX_CUSTOMPROCS.XXC_ARXAGMW.Sum_Percent_B2_Inv_p"/>
        <element name="Sum_Percent_B3_Inv" dataType="number" value="XX_CUSTOMPROCS.XXC_ARXAGMW.Sum_Percent_B3_Inv_p"/>

                <element name="C_Inv_B2" dataType="number" value="C_Inv_B2"/>
                <element name="C_Inv_B3" dataType="number" value="C_Inv_B3"/>
                <element name="C_Inv_B4" dataType="number" value="C_Inv_B4"/>
                <element name="C_Inv_B5" dataType="number" value="C_Inv_B5"/>
                <element name="C_Inv_B6" dataType="number" value="C_Inv_B6"/>
              </group>
            </group>
          </group>
        </group>
      </group>
      ...All of these groups and sub-groups are based on one single query, so I am not sure how I would move the function call into the query without changing the results of the function.
    In the example above, elements Sum_Percent_B0_Inv through Sum_Percent_B6_Inv grab the results of the calculation done in set_percent_inv_invformula. Here is the essence of that function:
      sum_percent_b0_inv := ROUND ((total_inv_inv_b0 / total_inv_inv_amt) * 100, 2);
      sum_percent_b1_inv := ROUND ((total_inv_inv_b1 / total_inv_inv_amt) * 100, 2);
      sum_percent_b2_inv := ROUND ((total_inv_inv_b2 / total_inv_inv_amt) * 100, 2);
      sum_percent_b3_inv := ROUND ((total_inv_inv_b3 / total_inv_inv_amt) * 100, 2);
      sum_percent_b4_inv := ROUND ((total_inv_inv_b4 / total_inv_inv_amt) * 100, 2);
      sum_percent_b5_inv := ROUND ((total_inv_inv_b5 / total_inv_inv_amt) * 100, 2);
      sum_percent_b6_inv := ROUND ((total_inv_inv_b6 / total_inv_inv_amt) * 100, 2);The only solution I can think of is to have separate queries, one for each subgroup, that do the "sum" in sql; but that seems terribly inefficient.

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you want to customize a table to display the list items.
    We can write CSS to customize the table style(background color, highlight, hover).
    The following is an example for your reference:
    Code:
    <style>
    #TermList table {
    border-collapse: collapse;
    margin-bottom: 2em;
    width: 100%;
    background: #fff;
    #TermList td, th {
    padding: 0.75em 1.5em;
    text-align: left;
    #TermList th {
    background-color: #31bc86;
    font-weight: bold;
    color: #fff;
    white-space: nowrap;
    #TermList tbody tr:nth-child(2n-1) {
    background-color: #f5f5f5;
    transition: all .125s ease-in-out;
    #TermList tbody tr:hover {
    background-color: rgba(129,208,177,.3);
    #TermList .HiddenColumn {
    display:none;
    </style>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.10.2.min.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    $(document).ready(function () {
    ExecuteOrDelayUntilScriptLoaded(getAllListItems, "sp.js");
    $("#TermList tbody").click(function(e){
    //get hidden column value
    var hiddenColumn=$(e.target).parent().find(".HiddenColumn").text();
    alert(hiddenColumn);
    function getAllListItems(){
    var listName="CustomList01";
    var context = new SP.ClientContext.get_current();
    var web = context.get_web();
    var list = web.get_lists().getByTitle(listName);
    var query = SP.CamlQuery.createAllItemsQuery();
    allItems = list.getItems(query);
    context.load(allItems);

  • Hidden element overlaps text when link is clicked to unhide div tag

    I am using Dreamweaver CS4 and using the slide effect.
    When the page loads, the div is initially hidden with (disolay:none).  But when i click the link to show the content, the content is displayed but it overlaps the table beneath it.
    I am using 4 collapsible panels.  The hidden element is in the second collapsible panel.
    Everything works good except that when the table is displayed after clicking the link to unhide it - it overlaps the 3rd and 4th collapsible panel.  When the table is unhidden by clicking the link, the other tables that are in the same collapsible panels move and this is good, but it overlapps the 3rd and 4th collapsible panel though. How do I fix this?

    This is why you don't use absolutely positioned elements to do this kind of thing.  Because absolute positioning REMOVES the positioned element from the normal flow, this element then cannot interact with any other element on the page, nor can any other element interact with it.
    The better way to do such a thing would be to use abuse 'display:none' to remove the container from the page rather than 'visibility:hidden', and of course, not to use absolute positioning.  Something like this -
    <p>Velit esse cillum dolore <a href="#" onclick="document.getElementById('foo1').style.display='inline'">MORE</a> <span id="foo1" class="hidden">sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Duis aute irure dolor lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. In reprehenderit in voluptate quis nostrud exercitation ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Qui officia deserunt sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt eu fugiat nulla pariatur. Ut enim ad minim veniam, lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit.</span>
    </p>

  • Can InDesign or an InDesign script solution tell me if I have hidden elements in a document?

    Can InDesign or an InDesign script solution tell me if I have hidden elements in a document? As in the following examples:
    • I import a picture file and some, or all of the file is not viewable in the picture frame, can InDesign alert me of it?
    • I accidentally place a picture so that it is completely covering another picture, can InDesign alert me the an image is being completely covered by another?
    I am using InDesign CS on a Mac running OSX version 10.4.11.
    Thanks,
    Elliott

    Not out of the box. Perhaps with a script. You can ask in the scripting forum.

  • Directing workflow transition based on form element value

    Question 1
    =======
    How can workflow change values in a form element?
    Example: We have an expense aproval form.
    If the form transits from state ManagerA to state Reject, I want the form element Rejected by: to be automaticaly set to value ManageA.
    How ho achieve this?
    Question 2:
    ========
    How can a workflow read a form element and based on the element value automatically transit to other state?
    Example: An expense aproval form is in state ManagerA.
    If a user set the form element Rejected by manually to the value ManagerA, I want the form to be automatically transited from state ManagerA to state Rejected.
    How ho achieve this?

    Dangross, thanks for the reply. Yeah, that Transition on Entry Data Value will do the job.

  • EJB 3: Dynamic Element Values

    Hi all,
    I'm fairly new to EJB3 and I'm wondering whether it is possible to dynamically assign annotation element values like this:
    @Entity
    @Table(name=myClass.getTableName())
    public class Employee {
    }If not, what else can I do to use the same entity class and respective service class for different tables, which all have the same fields?
    Thanks in advance.
    Stephan

    Hi,
    You should be able to achieve what you're after extending the Employee entity and override @Table in every subclass. It should work. (I'd also be looking for something helpful in persistence.xml as that's where mapping and other configurations are - maybe there's a tag for mapping a class to a table?)
