Hide an application so it can't be brought to front without a password...

I've been searching for a solution to this problem: I would like to be able to hide a running application, so that it a password is required to access the application in the foreground again.
So far, I have searched without results. Does anyone have an solution? It doesn't have to be elegant...

Everything besides the screen is completely fine-the screen will not recognize my finger anymore. I am not trying to fix the phone, but I need to have my contacts. The pictures have already synced, but I need my password to do a full backup. Unfortunately, I can't type in my password. Is there any way around it? If I take my phone to the apple store, will they be able to help me? I am not willing to replace the screen just to do this, however, so that is out of the question.

Someone else may have a workaround, but, as far as I know, if you cannot interact with the screen on the iPhone, there is no way to unlock it so you can get to your contacts.
Were you saving them to iCloud by chance? If so, you can restore them to your new phone.

Text can't be brought to front.

All my objects and text are on one layer. I can push objects behind the text but I can't make all of them go behind. When I group an object that is behind the text the text gets pushed back behind the object.

Have you tried Cmd+X and then Cmd+F on the text object?
(Read Ctrl instead of Cmd if you’re on Windows.)

Can't get Linksys set up without a password

I have recently order the Linksys WRT54G from Windstream and after a lot of trouble I have finally received it and all the appropriate stuff to get it hooked up on my computer. I am going through the installation CD and it asks for a password. I was never given a password other than the username and password that I use for my Windstream DSL service (I have tried both of these options for this password and neither works). I need to know how to access this password so I can FINALLY get this thing set up and running. Thank you. -Db

By defualt the user is left blank and the password is admin. You can run the CD or do it manually by opening you browser and typing http://192.168.1.1 in the address field. That will get you to the user/password screen then to the user interface so you can configure it for your ISP and wireless settings. To keep our wireless devices from logging onto your wireless net work WPA and WPA2 security is recomanded. When you set up your wireless make sure to change the SSIB to something other then linksys so you can identify your network.

i changed my apple id, because i got a new email and i cant delete the old one with out the password that i dont remember, and the email that is inactive, and none of the security questions are working in my favor. is there any way around that so i can delete it?

I just downloaded iOS7. I have it set up and everything. I changed my Apple ID email address a couple of months ago. The only thing is that on this iPod, iCloud has the old Apple ID. And every time I go into Settings > iCloud > Delete Account, it asks me for the password of the old Apple ID. And since that Apple ID doesn't exist anymore, I can't put the password. And since it won't take the password, I can't sign in to iCloud. Since I can't sign in to iCloud, I can't delete the account to enter the new email address. I really need help here

I FOUND THE SOLUTION!
I had the same exact problem. I had my old apple ID connected to a school email which did not exist anymore. My ipad (ICloud) was prompting me to put the password in for that ID and I could not delete it from my ipad because the "Find My Ipad" was turned on, once again prompting for password. I called apple and they said this Apple no longer exists and is not in there system, which I knew already. After hours on the phone nobody could help me. Try this.
-Go to create a new Apple ID and use the same email address as the old apple ID which is locked in on your ipad
-Create a new password and all that, it will say it send a verification link to your email, in my case my email no longer exists so I could not do this
- I called Apple to explain this problem and I asked if they could verify it for me, which they did after I convinced them it was worth a try. The guy told me that the verification shouldnt matter and should still be able to login but he did it anyway. You can try skipping this step but if it doesn't work then go ahead.
-Go to ICloud and click on your account, the email should be grayed out but it should allow you to change that password, put in the new password which you just created.
-This allowed me to sign in to accept the new terms and conditions but it said "unable to conncet to server" so I just backed out and went to "Delete Account" and it worked!
The whole idea is to re-create your old apple ID into Apple's system and then use that new password. The guy at Apple said tons of people called about this problem and nobody could solve it. I thanked him for helping me and he thanked me for helping him. I hope this helps you!

Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address (you shouldn't need to verify the old account). You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

The PDF you are trying to access seems to be encrypted .
I would suggest you to follow the error message you are receiving .Please make sure the password you are typing in is correct .
You could verify the password with the person who created and encrypted the PDF .The password used here would be different from your account' password .
The best option would be connect the the creator of the PDF or if there are any instructions given along with the PDF on how to access it ,please refer that .
Adobe would not be of much help in this case .

It is not possible to delete an apple id completely. You can only delete information like credit card, adress, name... To do this, go to iTunes Store, click on your email adress in the upper right corner and enter your password. Now you can manage your account.
An apple id without password is not possible.

Can't always hide an application

From time to time, I find that I cannot Hide an application (menu "Application" -> Hide "Application" is greyed out and Apple-H doesn't work). I cannot find any pattern. Most of the time it is OK, but this happens occasionally with both Apple and third party applications. Often, the App in question starts to behave again some time later.
Does anyone have any thoughts as to the cause, and how can I clear it if it happens.

Before I upgraded to iOS 6, there was a way to hide an application on my phone. When you did this is only showed up in Featured Apps in the App Store and specifically, would only appear in "Hidden Apps". Also, the app wouldn't show up at all on my device when I sync to the computer. I can't figure out how to hide an app anymore. Can anyone help? Oh and I'm talking about purchased apps...not the ones that come standard with the iPhone.

0- Have you used the Spotlight search on the iPod? Maybe you just can't find it
- Do yu have a Restriction set that woud hide the App Store app? Go to Settings>General>Restrictctions. It is protected by a passcode.
