Hide Object and Assignment information in classification screen

Hi All Experts,
We are thinking about using classification in DMS and we now have a graphical question.
Is it possible to hide(remove for end users) the Object and Assignment screens for a specific document type so that the users only see the screen "Values for Class xxxxx"?
If so, how is it done?
ie, when user is in their DIR they click on classification then they only want to see the data where they will add information:
Objects
Assignments
Values fro Class xxxx
Char 1
Char 2
etc..

Hi Mikael ,
i dont think thats its possible through standard SAP.
But one possible way could be , screen varients, ie by creating a Z transaction which will hide or show fields based upon authorizations in a user profile.
For screen varients you can search forum , and you will find many threads discribing details.

I am failry new to ABAP,as I have mainly functional MM/SD/WM/
I need to be creating a fileld such as the one seen below( ZZLOOM).This is already showing on the transactions CO02/CO03(production orders).
Can you please therefore give me step by step rough guide how to create this field and assign it to the program and the table/structure?To which program needs this to be assigned on SE38? Is it the screen data program SAPLXCO1 or the field desciption for batch input program SAPLCOKO1-please see below.

AFAIK the system menu can´t be hidden - because people won´t be able to log off (but by using the X in the right upper corner). Additionally it contains additional transactions (own data etc.) that users should be able to change.

Firefox 35 won't hide address and tab bar in full screen on OS X 10.10

Hi, when I put firefox full screen, I expect the address bar and tab bar to auto-hide. From google searching it seems like this was expected behavior some time ago. A pic -> 1000 words.

Nope, zero styles in Stylish currently, this is a new install. As well I've tried going full-screen with all addons disabled and I get the exact same result.

Which Business Role you are using and which transaction you want to hide the Ibase???
Use Tx-CRMC_UI_PROFILE Now Click on Assign Function Profile of your Business Role (for ex SALESPRO) .Select Funnction Profile CRMUI_MPLAYOUT and change the Profile Value to your own Defined Account Identification Profile.

Overlapping objects in hidden information and OCR

when i use text recognition, i can search for words. This works great. I also need to remove all hidden information, which removes 'overlapping objects', which disables the text recognition. is there a way to have zero hidden information in acrobat and at the same time have OCR?

Nathan, there are a couple of techniques you can use to make this kind of work easier. First off, you can assign a build animation to an object and then move it do a different place on the slide and the animation will still work. So, in your case, you could create the replacement objects, apply the build in you want, apply the build out to the original objects, and only then slide the replacements on top of the originals (using the guide lines to line up exactly).
Alternatively, you can use the Send Backward and Send Forward menu items to manipulate the objects. If you have two sets of objects (grouped together), one original and one to be the replacement, you can move the original in front of the replacement, apply your build out, then send the original backward, and the replacement set should now be on top (presuming these are the only two groups on the slide). You can even put icons for Backward and Forward into the toolbar of the Keynote window for easy access (in the View menu, select Customize Toolbar).

I know how to add an attribute but how can i add the attribute to an existing custom object class.

The objectclasses attribute is multi-valued, so you can add several values to it as long as they are unique.
For instance, I think you can add several declaration of the same objectclass as below (note the difference is the number of spaces in the value) howewer, from a schema perspective, only 1 will be taken into account:

That's the reason why it is safe to delete previous value if you want to update an existing objectclass. No problem to add a new objectclass (new oid and new name) to the schema.

Full Screen Mode(s) & Show/Hide Toolbars and Palettes???

I use PS7 but am going to train some folks on PS Elements 8. I cannot find PSE8's equivalent of the F key "Full Screen Modes" command or the Tab key "Show/Hide Toolbars and Palettes". PLEASE tell me there IS some way to do these two things in PSE8!!!!!

Uh, yes, don't I feel dumb. Maybe since I always seem to use the Tab key in conjunction with the F key command for Full Screen Modes I didn't realize the Tab key didn't work in PSE8 just fine. At least that's my newbie excuse, and I'm sticking with it. Thanks! Next time I promise I'll TRY something before I ask about it. (I'm kinda stressing this training I need to do soon.)
Now HOW to use the keyboard shortcuts for Full Screen mode??? Anyone???

Assign information types to books and pages

Hi,
I'm using Robohelp 7 HTML and am trying to Assign information types to books and pages. The information types are defined however I have no way of assigning them to the topics/books. All my categories are marked as "inclusive"
The Adobe Hep file says that:
Click View > Pods > Topic List. The Topics List appears.
From the Topics list, select the topic.
Click Properties .
Click the Information Types Tab. .......
There is no such Tab.
What am I doing wrong? Can someone please help

You aren't doing anything wrong. What you have done is stumble across a feature of HTML Help that was never properly and fully implemented. I had a play with Information Types back in 2000 and concluded that they weren't worth the effort.
For one thing, they are far from intuitive for end users. An end user has to know they exist, then right-click the TOC and choose to sort the TOC by the Information Type (or types) that are available.
If you choose to continue with Information Types, I believe the process you follow is to create the types. Sounds like you have gotten that far. Then in the TOC you right-click the Books and Pages and examine the properties. On the ensuing dialog you click the Advanced tab and enable the Use Information Types option. Then you assign the types by clicking the Add... button near the bottom.
As Information types are only used with the TOC, it comes as no surprise there is nothing in Topic Properties to deal with them. Additionally, they only apply to CHM format and are totally moot if your output is WebHelp or FlashHelp.
My best advice would be to suggest to Adobe that incorrect information exists in the help. I'll be doing that with the comment you posted in the help topic. I just opened RoboHelp X5 and even as far back as X5 there is no Information Types tab in the Topic Properties.

In Request type, what is the difference between action 'Change user' and 'Assign object'

Dear All,
I have used only 'Assign Object' for my 'Change User' request type. But the standard request type has 'Change user'. So, could you suggest , what additional purpose does Change Object serve

not sure if you answered your own question here?
Change User - by itself would allow update of address data, user parameters, defaults, etc
Assign Object - as you mentioned roles and profiles.
However, if assigning, I think you need to have both actions: change and assign
I recall (ages ago) that change was only the user details and not the role or profiles. As a result, there were a few threads where people had to update the action for the request type of provisioning would not occur.
This is something you could test

I had the same problem. Someone here told me to make sure my earbuds were in securely. Push until they click in place. It solved the problem. The music still plays even though the screen goes to sleep. Hope this helps.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Details of database and status information of archived object can't be seen

I am trying to archive the ODS-0FIAP_O03 and the job overview(T.Code SARA) shows the status as finished. Attached screenshots show the statistics of written data objects and active records in spool. However when we display statistics(T.Code SARA ) , I do not see any details of database and status information of archived object.Please suggest where could the error be.
Also let me know if you want to see the related screenshots.

This could be an issue due to program error.
Would you provide me the archiving object so as to find OSS notes if available.
This is a common issue for most of the archiving objects..we do generally miss out the statistics..and that is after the modification in the program, this is ok.
