You can also customize a slide control to look like radio buttons. You can control the text labels and the number of element through a property (by changing the scale properties). If you really want it to look like radio buttons, you can try ripping the images from the dialog radio button. Also, to save some time, you can get the OpenG buttons package, which includes a slide customized to look like radio buttons. The main problem with this is that changing the number of items does not change the size of the control and that makes the dot filling the radio buttons look compressed.
Another option is to create an array of radio buttons, but then you will have to handle the logic yourself.

Trying to disable a button and code does not work help?

I am trying to disable a button.
I created a button by adding a display item and placing the following
in the Pre Element Text:

Disable ThinkVantage Button and F11

Is there a way to disable the blue thinkvantage button and f11 key restore functionality on R61 laptops? I have about 900 of the R61 Laptops in a school invironment and would prefer that a student did not perform a restore.

Logout button and Page submission problem

We have logout buttons on every page of our application. The problem is that if the user clicks on any part of the page, even on the group-panel, the logout button gets the focus and a hit on the enter key causes the user to log-out.
I want that the logout button, should not get any focus unless and until it is clicked by the user to logout.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Here is what I do.
Create a page fragment that contains the logout link/button.
I use this in a menu panel page fragment or a header panel page fragment.
That way, you can just add the page fragment and don't have to duplicate code on every page.
The only thing you have to do is make sure the navigation is set up properly.
For example. I create a menu page fragment with buttons that go to each page of my application.
The menu page fragment has all the logic to return the proper navigation string.
The page fragment is incorporated into the page.
You have to set up the navigation rules for each page, but do not have to include the button logic since it is included with the page fragment.
This also isolates you from the problem where a return activates the logout button.
As an aside, you might want to trap the return keypress and direct it where you want or toss it.

Hide or disable HELP button in ME21N

Hello ABAPers,
How can I hide or disable the [HELP button|http://img174.imageshack.us/img174/8445/picjy7.jpg] in standard transaction ME21N? It's located within pf-status NORMAL of functiongroup MEGUI.
(I tried SDH0, but I believe it is not possible to change a pf-status. If it is, please tell me how.)

White screen when pressing home button and getting text

Strange thing, hopefully software bug. I press the home button to check time and all that shows is a white screen. It's not the white screen of death because I can simply press the sleep button and then go straight back to what I was doing, pressing home button, etc. and it's fine. I've even taken a screen shot of it with iPhone. All that appears is my true wallpaper, as if it didn't know it wasn't already showing it. Also, it's very random. I can't reproduce. It's pretty minor as I can quickly getout of it but I want it clean.
I've restored, restored as new, reset, turned on/off, everything I can think of. Any ideas?
I also have the speaker distortion bug many are talking about (blown speaker sound).
I have a genius bar appointment Sunday so I'm curious what they say.

I suggest going through the usual troubleshooting steps:
1. Reset the phone by pressing both home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears (ignore red slider).
2. Setting > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
3. Restore in iTunes using a backup.
4. Restore as a new iPhone
5. Take it to the Genius Bar.

Creating Logout button and invalidating session

Hello All:
I'm new to java and I'm trying to figure out how to log a user out of a web servlet. Basically I just have a link that returns the user to the first servlet (my login servlet) called log out. I am wondering if when I click on that link (or do I need to make it a button) that I can tell the servlet to invalidate the session I have created, therefore allowing a new user to login from the login servlet.
I honestly have no idea how to go about this. The following is my code from another servlet in my group:

The Log Out link is the one I want to check when clicked, and if so, invalidate my session before the user is redirected to the RegLogin Servlet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much :).

On Android 4.2.2 on a Nexus7 tablet - No Firefox button and most text entry fields do not work at all

I installed Firefox 19.0.2 and appears to be ok, but I don't see a Firefox button anywhere, so I cannot access any of the functions that it controls, such as bookmarks, which is why I installed it!
The ASUS Nexus 7 tablet shows up as a supported platform.
I set it as the default link browser, but quickly realized that I could not enter text into any data entry fields, so I reset the default back to Chrome, which works fine for that.
I installed Firefox because bookmarks in Chrome are very lame, but I can't use bookmarks at all in Firefox, so again Chrome wins.
Any suggestions, before I uninstall it?

I am now a Democrat supporter. dccc.org does accept text input from my mobile.
The forum problem I mentioned earlier is apparently a known issue but only affecting legacy phones.

Radio button and show text

i am assigned to create a page (index and action page) where
the index page has a group of radio buttons ( 4 of them) . if one
of the four the radio button is selected then a text (paragraph of
about 30 lines) is shown in the action page after a submitt button
or next button . can this be done????

Disabling radio button and only keep one active out of all...

I have 4 radio button names as RD1. RD2, RD3 and in the last RD4.
Now when user excutes the transaction, I want only RD3 to be selected and RD1, RD2 and RD4 to be inactive (greyed out). I tried couple of ways but its not happening.
Please help.

Sorry, your boss can't control what happens on a users PC. A website can't change what plugin is used to display a PDF file in Firefox, not can a website disable or block access to features or controls in the PDF Viewer.

Is it possible and legal to disable home button and the screenshot feature in an ipad app?

I am being asked to develop an iPad app that can't be closed until some actions are done, also it must prevent the use of screenshot feature and the home button. Is this possible? Is this legal? In case of this not being legal what would happen (in legal terms) if I do develop it?

It's impossible to develop an iPad app that can't be closed until some actions are done. The iPad programmer cannot override what happens when the user presses the 'Home' button. The 'Home' button will always tell the front application to go to the background, and if that application doesn't cooperate within a reasonable time it will be terminated.
Bear in mind that an iPad is an overgrown iPhone. It's always possible that someone will phone you up when you're running an app, and the app must release control and let you answer that phonecall.
I suggest you discuss the design philosophy with whoever wants the application, remembering that computers are meant to help us do what we want to do, not boss us about.

In this report (standard) normally displayed Navigation tab on left hand corner in the oput format for expanding the report...in our case that tab is appreard in active mode

the variation is set to 'do not explode' in the report 1SLK-001 (S_ALR_87013614)
You can check this using the following path in transaction GRR3 (library 1VK) report 1SLK-001:
Menu: Edit -> Variation, you will see that the variation is set to 'Do not explode'.
This is why navigation between the different reports or variation is not
available in this report, (the icons are greyed out).
Iif you wish to have this functionality, then you can copy the report and change
the variation as follows:
-> via GRR1 create a copy of the standard report using report 1SLK-001 as
    a reference, ('Copy from'-field).
-> in this new report you can then via Edit->Variation change 'Cost Element
     from 'Do not explode' to 'explode', and CO area from 'Do not explode'
     to 'Variation sing. val'."

Adobe Captivate - Multiple Choice Quiz Question - Radio Button and Text Alignment

I have created a quiz with multiple choice questions.
No matter what I do I cannot align the radio button and the text for the choices (see below).
I would like to align the center of the radio button with the center of the letter A) and B).
I have tried every option that I can think of in the Properties options.
Please let me know if anyone has a solution for this.

Previously I tried several different combinations of fonts and font sizes, but didn't see any change.
