Hide Purchase Price info

We are looking for a way to hide the purchase order price from some internal employees. We are looking at two possible options.
1. Use security to restrict access to a specific purchasing group in all purchasing transactions. Use authorization object S_TABU_DIS to prevent users from viewing tables with class MA. Unfortunately I can still see purchase order price in MB51, MIGO, MCE* transactions. Is there anyway to restrict a set of users from seeing purchase order price in MM and the downstream accounting docs?
2. Create a PO for free goods. Pay the vendor via a manual journal entry. This solution will prevent the end user fro seeing the actually purchase order price as the manual journal entry will not be tied directly to the PO.
Is there any other way to hide the purchase price from internal users? I am not confident that we can have a robust enough security policy that a user can not find a report or transaction that includes the price. We do not like the second solution as it requires a lot of manual work and will make the standard cost for the material inaccurate.
Your help is much appreciated.

Dear Thomas,
Yes there is a provision in SAP for hiding PO price to specific users. Follow the steps as under.
1. Execute tcode OMET.
2. Create Function Authorization : NP (any name u wish to give) enter description as "No prices display auth."
3. Select FieldSel. as "$DE2  Without displaying price"
4. Then Save.
5. Now you need to maintain user parameter EFB with value NP in user maintainance SU01/SU3. Maintain this parameter in ID of the users whome you do not want to display PO price.
Thats all you can do for hiding PO price to specific users. I m sure it will fulfill your requirement.
Note:
1. Do not select any other option as it may affect other Std functionality.
2. After maintaining this parameter the particular user is unable to view PO conditions.

  • CK11n Costing Run does not pull purchasing price from info record.

    Hi,
I have material which is a semi finished product (Material type: SEMI) and is purchased from a fixed vendor (specified in the source list).
The costing run does not pick up the purchasing price from the purchasing info record but
instead incorrectly picks up the standard price from the material master (Costing 2 view).
Can you please help me solve this issue?
    Thanks,
    Ketan

    Execute OPL1
    or
SPRo>>IMG>>Controlling>>Product Cost Controlling>>Cost Object Controlling>>Product Cost by Order>>manufacturing Order>>Check Costing Variants for Manufacturing Orders (PP)
Select the costing variant in the table from "Change Costing Variant: Overview" Overview Screen
    Click Detail Button
Click Valuation Variant Button in the Control Tab
Change View Valaution Variant Detail Screen Appears
In Material Valuation Tab Set Price from Purchase Inforecord as Priority 1 if you want to use Price from Purchase Inforecord for semi-finished product during CK11N
You can list down Priority 2 to 5 depending on your requirement
    This would solve your problem

  • Can we issue purchase order without price info

    Hi,
We had issued purchase orders to a vendor, but we come across that price info has not been maintained for the same. It seems that this is exceptional case. Can we issue purchase order without price info ??
    Regards...

    Hi,
In general case while creating purchase order price is picked up from purchasing info records which are valid , if the info record is not maintained it is picked up from last purchase order.
But as you said it is purcahse order without info records.
    Options available are;
You can manually enter the price in the item overview and details will automatically get calculated in item detail of purchase order
You can mark free delivery indicator in the item overview.

  • Purchase price for components in service orders

    Dear Fellow SAPPERS,
I did not find any separate forums for service management nor did I find anything for plant maintenance. As a result I have to post it in this forum since SM/CS uses lot of settings from SD. If you do not find this relevant, please point to appropriate forum for my post.
    Now the problem,
When users are entering components which are externally procured in the service order compoenent tab, the price is picking up automatically from the purchase inforecord. For some materials which are stocked and real materials we want it this way. But the client is also using generic materials like nuts, bolts, impellers etc where the purchase price is specific to the service order.
When the users are putting in a real price, the price from the purchase inforecord is overwriting the price the user entered. Then they need to reenter the price which if they forget, the purchase requisition gets a wrong price. We want to stop this overwriting of price from inforecord for certain materials.
How is this possible? We are exploring the function module CO_ZF_MAT_INFORECORD_READ where the price gets fixed from inforecord. Is modifying the funtion module the only way?
Thanks in advance for any help.
    Andy.

    Hello,
Its not that easy unfortunately. The users started complaining about this behavior many months after go live. Before that the indicator Info record update was already checked in the PO. Since these materials are generic with few materials, most of the info records are already created. Now when I delete the inforecords, I get an error message inside the service order that the inforecords are deleted. So I cannot go and delete the inforecords.
This needs to be done by a program. Anybody has experience modifying the function module CO_ZF_MAT_INFORECORD_READ by implicit enhancement?? Also any links explaining all the features / functionality of implicit enhancement.

    Hallo Welt von SAP,

  • Configure GRIR account and Purchase Price variance

    Hi,
Please explain steps involved in GRIR configuration and Purchase Price Variance
Thanks for help. Points will be given

You need to set up the automatic postings:
IMG \ Materials Management \ Valuation and Account Assignment \ Account determination \ Account determination w/o wizard \ Configure Automatic postings
In particular you need to ensure there are settings for the Transaction Event Keys PRD (price differences) and WRX (GR/IR).  Drill through and set per:
Valuation Grouping Code (these are set per Valuation Area which is normally Plant level and you can see the settings one step back in config.), General Modifier (if applicable) and for all possible Valuation Classes.
This link is very good,  read the top bit for an overview then go to Transaction Event Keys (about half way down) for further info. on these.

  • History of Article Purchase Price (ERP)

    Hi!
The only way that I know to get the calculated purchase price for an article in ERP is by using the function EINA_E_SINGLE_READ. However, this function always returns the today's price. Is there a way to get the price from the past, on given date?
    Thanks in advance!
    Regards,
    Igor

Hi, that function appears to be looking a the purchase info record, which has a static price, I think you need to look directly at the purchase orders for that article,  you can check table EKPO for line items, this will have the net price, you can also check PO history table EKBE this will show receipts against the PO with the price.

  • Maintaining purchase price.

    Hi,
Is There any provision to maintain the purchase price of the material for a vendor, other than info record.
my requirement is,every time i raise a PO to the vendor for a material.price has to be picked from the price list.but in info record prvious purchase price is getting updated.
i mean to say i will maintain only basic price in price list.when ever i create a PO only basic price has to pick and the other charges will maintain manually for the conditions.
    Thanks
    Mahesh

    Dear,
Tick Info update in purchase order Master Data available at item detail level of purchase order once time.
Then always put old price from old po.

  • Purchasing price.

    Hi thanks in advance.
can we maintain purchasing price of material any where.if its maintained, when a PO is created for this material, price should be defaulted from this price list.and a error message shld come if user try to increase price while creating PO.
if the scenario works please describe in detail.
    Regards
    Mahesh

    Hi
I am not aware of your full scenario.
    Plz try this.
Maintain the info record for the material and maintain the purchasing price in the inforecord. The PO picks the price from info record. Restrict the authorization of change in info record so that no body can change that.
If anything else you want to do, explain in detail.
    Thanks & Regards

  • PO Last Purchase Price ??

Hi ! currently I'm working on a P.O. Report. My query is :- I want to display the last purchase price of the P.O..
For this requirement, I've joined the tables EKKO & EKPO, sorted on material & plant. And now I want to fetch the last purchase price from EIPA table using the info rec no. For that how can I write a select query.
    Right now I'm using :-
SELECT SINGLE PREIS    INTO DISP-LASTPR      FROM EIPA  WHERE INFNR    = DISP-INFNR.
which is not solving the problem.
    Please help.

    Hi,

I probably have at least over 2000 songs in my iTunes, plus a couple of videos. Though since I can always still use my desktop for anything else, maybe it is better I take the 256 over the 128. I had read a lot of other topics on this with a lot of people saying it is better to go with the 8GB memory and I would buy that also if I could, but I can't and of course I want this laptop to last me a while.
Thanks for your help I think I'll go for the 256 + 4 instead, and I presume I can always get other external drives to store anything if I really need to down the road.

  • Valuation stragety "Net purchase price " for cost calculation

Hi,i indicate "Net purchase price" used for plan cost calculation, but if there a many PO with different venfor for this material, how the system to determine which PO price used for cost calculation?
    thanks in advance

    Hi ajai,
I agree with your point,we have 3 info record for a material and 2 are valid as such. The price maintained in  two info records are as 7.5 & 1.0 respectively(valid info records).
The last price in the purchase order (of the info those records) are 0.41(dated on 09.04.2010)  & 0.2(dated on 19.04.2010) respectively, but when we execute the cost estimation the system picks the price of 7.5  not the least price of 0.2(as its the latest purchased price).
Do let us know why and of what logic the system picks the highest price.
    Do revert.
    Regard,

  • Previous purchase price in PO -

    Hi Friends,
How to get previous purchase price in PO as item wise.
    1 time -Ex. Material A , net price=5000
2-time - if i will put Material A for purchase , system have to show me my last (Previous) purchase price of this material is 5000.
    Regards,
    MAhesh.

If you want the system to take the price from the last Purchase Order, then do not maintain the conditions in the info record because it has precedence over the last PO. This means that the netprice field in the info record should be left blank.
In the case when you have already maintained the conditions in the info record (or netprice), try to delete them or make them invalid by changing the validity date.
Even though no price was maintained, the info record will still keep track of the Order price history.
To check the Order price history, go into the material info record and click Environment -> Order price history

I purchased a large app early 2012. It was updated late 2012 to support iOS 6 and iPhone 5. Unlike other apps that I've purchased which say "open" when I view them in the App Store, this one shews a full purchase price. I've deleted and downloaded this app before. If I delete it again will I be made to pay for it again? or will it download with everything anew? or will I lose the app?
