Hide Tab Dynamically in RFx.

Hi,
I am new to FPM. I have a requirement that I want to hide a tab dynamically for Guest User. when i tried to Implement the Interface IF_FPM_TABBED_CONF_EXIT I am getting the error that Interface IF_FPM_TABBED_CONF_EXIT already Exists. But Unable to use the interface.
Please find the screenshot.
Please help me how to hide the view Dynamically.

Portal Tabs - Dynamic Hide/Display

Hello:
We have a Portal Page Group with multiple TABS. We like to be able to display/hide (or enable/disable) tabs based on the Portal Roles assigned to the current user.
Is it possible to Hide/Display tabs dynamically based on certain conditions? What is the best way to enforce this without creating multiple page groups?

The only way I know to conditionally hide/show tabs is to grant access on each tab to one or more groups. The tab will then only be displayed on the page to logged-in user that is a member of a designated group for that tab. (Portal admins will be able to see all the tabs.) If there's another way to hide/show tabs based on other criteria - I'd like to know too! :-)

Hiding a Tab Dynamically in FPM

Can you please let me know how to hide the tab dynamically in FPM. I tried to implement the interface IF_FPM_TABBED_CONF_EXIT in the SAP standard webdynpro, but I get a error " Web Dynpro comp./intf. "IF_FPM_TABBED_CONF_EXIT already exists". Even though I get this message I am not able to find the interface IF_FPM_TABBED_CONF_EXIT in the implemented list of interface.

Hide Tab Bar command

Under the View menu, there is a command that says 'Hide Tab Bar'. Mine is grayed out. Is anyone else able to select it? This command works with the Windows version.
btw- I liked the tabs on top in the Mac beta version

You should be able to select it. Try deleting the com.apple.safari plist from Home/Library/preferences.

How to use the Hide Tab Bar Command in Yosemite?

I guess I need a lesson in some basic Safari functionality. In Safari 8, when only one page is open (one tab, therefore), the Hide Tab Bar command in the View menu is functional. But, when a second tab is opened, the command is grayed out and the tab bar (at least in my configuration) is on screen with both tabs.
What is the point, therefore, of the Hide Tab Bar command if it is only functional when one tab is open? Or, do I need to configure my Safari differently so it can be functional with many tabs open?

I tried this solution (using CP 5.5) but only to limited success. The TOC search seems to be able to pick up on some of the script but not all. I think it might be chronological, as in it will search within the first part of the script but not in latter parts, but I can't be sure. Are there any limitations to this solution, such as script (within the text box) length? Also, this may or may not be related, but the TOC rearranged and renamed all of my slides. For example, I have no duplicate slide labels and they are in order within the project, but my TOC looks like this:

Slide 2
Slide 3
Slide 4
Slide 4
Slide 21
Slide 40
Slide 70
Slide 16
etc...
As the project plays, the TOC status checkmarks jump around the list, appearing next to the corresponding slide (although in most cases mislabeled). Any guidance correcting these issues would be most helpful. Please let me know if you need any more information.

Changing tabs dynamically

I have a requirement to change my tabs dynamically inside my view for different scenarios.For this, i have binded selectedTab property of tabstrip to some context attribute and then i am setting this attribute with Id's of my tabs depending upon the scenario.But this is not working and always first tab is shown by default.I tried to debug the value af the attribute and it is getting set by different Id's.Can anyone help me in this regard.This is very urgent.

hi amit this is what you must be following......
for testing purpose, initially in the wddoinit method provide the second or any other tab id ( in capital letters ) to the context and check what happens.
if it works fine then your logic is differing in some place that by default the tab1 id is sent to the context.

Hi,
To solve the issue, delete the query in powl_type and powl_query transaction.
Run the Report POWL_D01 to clear the cache and load the application again.

Think about how many translations are required to move your avatar, then think how many translations are required to move everything else in the entire world. Depending on whether there is more to translate in your avatar or in the rest of the world, you have your solution.
Not knowing how your system works I can't really suggest anything further but could the collision avoidance be interacting with everything in the world as well? That would increase the workload somewhat.

However depending on the type of employee we need hide some Areas(ie For the type of Employee A, I need hide the Area :

I know that I can hide Areas in the ESS creating an Enhancement Implicit in the FM HRXSS_SER_GETMENUDATA. I made this and work fine. But the problem that I have in this moment is following:
The Area were hided but in the role of ESS yet still appear all the Worksets:
Employee Search | Personal Information | | Benefits and Payment | | Travel and Expenses | Career and Job
Is posble Hide Workset dynamically or What I need do for solve this Issue?

Hello,
You said that you have a different employee type so here I believe it appears the need for a different group with its permissions and restrictions.
I am not sure on how to dynamically change the Worksets without the BADIs, but I would suggest you to use more groups so that you can define the rules you are creating on the BADI on the group itself.

Hide tabs of a tabstrip after authority-check

Hi experts,
I would like to hide tabs of a tabstrip depending on the user that is running the application. We have created an authorization-object "Z" to restrict this.
The scenario will be the following: for example, he have a tabstrip with 4 tabs. USER1 could only have editable tabs 1, 2 and 3. And USER2 have the restriction of not viewing tabs 1 and 3.
How can I associate each tab with the authorization-object?

-one for the tab number
-one for the action (Create, Change and Display)

How to hide Total value in RFX response webdynpro component

We are working on SRM 7.0 and there is a requirement to hide the Total Value that appers on RFX Response Header for a particular Role.The webdynpro component is FPM_IDR_COMPONENT and View is IDR_VIEW..I have searched the SDN and found that CL_FPM_IDR class methods can be used to hide the Items.But method SET_ITEMS_VISIBILITY sets the visibility for all items,but i want for a particular pair.Please advise me how to hide this field value pair dynamically.

What you might try is to remove the particular key_value pair from the lt_items table which is passed to the IDR.
So search in(WDA/Assistance class/Feeder class ) and find out the place ,from where this table is filled and called to set items on IDR.
Remove the pair before from table before the call to IDR.

I have an application that displays some graphics and data, I need to create a dynamic action to hide everything, which only present the graph, I work well with regions and item, but I can not hide the tab menus.
Any hints on how to do ....

For DA to work you need a JQuery selector or some other means to identify the items you need to hide.
Tabs are usually <li> rendered by the #TAB_CELLS# built-in and do not have a name or id associated, hence your problem.
Depending on the theme you are using you may or may not be able to find a selector.
A simpler and more straight forward way would be to make the Tabs conditional on whatever condition you intend to use to fire the DA. Not sure if this is an option for you though.

SAP Strategy Management 10: Is there a possibility to hide tabs?

For example, to hide "Reports", "Dashboards", "Briefing book". I saw in demo video that they had these tabs hidden.

When you set up your roles in NetWeaver you can decide which rights and actions different roles have. If you don't want a certian role to be able to see a tab you don't assign that action or right.
There are rights for SSM_ViewDashboard, SSM_ViewReport etc.
