Hide the two tab from infotype 0024

Hello,
I need to hide two tabs from infotype 0024 sreen, "Appraisals where appraisee" and "appraisals where appraiser", in PA30 transaction. But it should appear on the infotype 0025 . Is there any way to do that?

Screen 3000 is and overview screen. You need to create a module pool for screen 2000 - detail screen. Enter 2000 also as alternative screen in the same line and double click it. There you can set the invisiblity of the certain field / tab.
The entry should look like
"Module pool Screen Alter. screen
MP002400 2000 2000
You can also include feature if you want to differantiate alternative screen i.e. based on country.

* Fill t_pernr_tmp with employees (PERNRs) as follows -
      t_pernr_tmp-plvar = '01'.
      t_pernr_tmp-otype = 'P'.
      t_pernr_tmp-sobid = '00000001'. "give employee number here
      append t_pernr_tmp.
*     READ QUALIFICATION

How to hide the PORT NUMBER from the URL

We have Application on Node 1 and Database on Node 2
Apps Version: 11.5.10.2
DB: 9.2.0.6
We recently added a new node to act as web server for iSupport.
Now we are able to access the url using public Ip-address which looks like
http://<Internet Ip-Address>:<PORT NUMBER>
Eg: http://******.com:8000
But we dont want the *'PORT NUMBER(8000)'* to be displayed.
How to hide the port number ?..

How to hide addnl data tab from CVO1N Transction

Dear Friend's
While creation of Document through CVO1N Transction first we fill up the data in "Document Data" tab then system gives"Addnl Data" tab.
Here i don't need this "Addnl Data" tab.
Pls guide me how i can hide the same tab.Give me the steps so i can implement.

Additonal tab control with the assignment of class type and class in the document type. Removing class type and class will eliminate this additional data tab. In this case if any additional data is required then you will have to manually assigne class type and class within document each time
However this is not what you want, you want to assign additional data after you have created a document, therefore solution could be make characteristics and class as an optional field so that system does not enforce you to maintain information at the time of creation. Second solution could be thought of as screen variant

What means the error message "This static method cannot hide the instance method from Referee"?
Referee.java is a interface. I implemented it in the class RefereeMyName.java and made a method in that class to be static. Thats why I received that error message.
But can't I use static methods when I have implemented a interface in that class? I want to have a Player.java class which I want to access RefereeMyName.getTarget(). I cannot use a instance instead because I wouldn't receive a valid return value then (RefereeMyName is the client class).
What is the solution?

Well i do not think that you can do that b'cos that way you are not giving the same signature for the method as that exists in the interface. I do not know how other way it can be done but if something urgent for you then you can remove that method from that interface and only define in the class.

This is weird: I wrote that document a few weeks ago, it is theorically published on SDN but this is not possible to find it by using the research tool... Maybe because it applies only to BPS in 3.5. I did not have enough time to migrate that solution to BI-IP 7.0.

Hide the Core universe from some user groups

Hi all,
We have one Core universe and few derived universes for each user group. One team is responsible to implement the Core and the derived universes. This means they have Full access on these universes. There are few other user groups which have VOD access on their group specific derived universe and the VOD access on the Core universe in order to create or run WebI reports. Since they have VOD access on the core universe, they will be able to create report against it. We like to hide the core universe from our user group and they should always use their derived universes.
Does someone know which entitlement setting will allow us to hide then core universe or prevent a certain user group to create new report against it without impacting their ability to run existing reports?

Hi,
Step 1. Try at CMC level
CMC-> Universes-> remove the groups (don't shouldn't have access to that universe)-> ok
If it doesn't work then try step 2.
Step 2. At Designer level -
Try to restrict the universe at designer level. i.e goto Tools-> Manage Restrictions -> Manage Access Restrictions -> add groups(required groups dont should have access to users) ->Ok.

Hide the cross-tab headers

Hi -
I am trying to figure out how to hide the cross-tab headers on even number pages. I know that I can suppress the text in the header columns but I would also like to hide the cells as well. Is there a way to do this?

hi Akash,
unfortunately there is no ability to hide the cells / space for column headers that are suppressed. the grid lines cannot be conditionally hidden either.
if you really need this look and feel you may wish to insert a 2nd section below your existing cross-tab. copy and paste the cross-tab into the new section and have that 2nd cross-tab's column header suppressed as well as shrink up this header with the Size and Position > Height property. you can then remove the grid lines (if applicable) on the column header for this 2nd cross-tab.
now you need to conditionally suppress the new section based on the page number and the original section based on the page number. to suppress the new section should be
remainder(pagenumber, 2) <> 0
and for the original section
remainder(pagenumber,2) = 0

Is it possible to go to the last tab from a different tab group?

1. Create tabgroup1, tabgroup2
2. On tabgroup1, open tab no.3 out of 10.
3. Ctrl+Shift+E, select tab no.6 out of 10 on the tabgroup2
4. Now I would like to go back to the tab no.3 of the tabgroup1. Currently, I have to switch back to tabgroup view by clicking Ctrl+Shift+E and clicking to the necessary tab. Is it possible to do this by one single mouse click or key shortcut? This would be really nice and time saving in case I wanted to repeat switching between these concrete tabs for several times.

To explain more about my situation.
Target database has the dump files, where as the source database (cloud) doesn't have access to the target database.
However, I can request the target DB DBA team to run the par files and provide me the output like a SQL file which I can take and run it in my source database.
I got the metadata the same way, but is there any way I could get the data from the dump files on the target DB without actually accessing it? My question might sound weird, but please let me know.

When i go on my music app why do i have the old songs from icloud on there? i need to get these off but want to keep the songs......is that possible? they wernt there before i uploaded iOS7?? just so annoying....... when i put my phone on docking station takes forever to find songs inbetween all the old icloud songs

Is the correct place for your question. Selecting what music you want to sync and then checking the box "Replace allitems when autofilling"
should do what you are wanting. If that doesn't do exactly what you want, you can always sync manually.
If you prefer not to use Autofill to sync music to your iPod shuffle, you can manually sync music instead.
Connect iPod shuffle to your computer and open iTunes.
Select the option to "Manually manage music" from the iPod Summary tab of the iPod settings screen.
Select your Music, Podcasts, or Audiobooks Library or a playlist on the left side of the iTunes window.
Select one or more pieces of audio content and drag them to the iPod shuffle icon under Devices.
If you have turned on disk use, disconnect iPod shuffle by selecting it under Devices and clicking the eject icon (iPod shuffle is ready to be disconnected when the status light stops flashing).

How can I extract the two channels from a stereo track?

I am writing a class that is able to draw an audio signal. It seems to be working well but I have a question. If I load a mono audio file I am able to draw it on a graph by using the byte[] array and everything is ok until now. That's the code:

The results is correct only if I have a mono track. Obviously when I get a stereo track the array becomes very large so here the question. How can I extract the two audio channels from a stereo track?

A mono audio stream is stored [sample, sample, sample, sample], so just a list of samples in an array.
A stereo sample is interleaved in the same manner, so you get [left-sample, right-sample, left-sample, right-sample]
So every nth sample is the 1st channel, every nth+1 is the 2nd channel...

I accidentally managed to delete the "New Tab" from the Navigation tool bar and I can't get it back. Can you help?

I wanted to rearrange to Navigation toolbar and accidentally deleted the "Add new tab" from it. I now have the "Stop loading this page", "Reload current page" and "Home" buttons, but the new tab button is gone! I checked the "Customize" panel, but it's vanished from there too. All that's there is a "Open in a new window" tool. I'm aware that i can open a new tab just by clicking the plus next to the open tabs or Ctrl+T, but I'm used to doing it with the actual button, so I'd be grateful if you could help me.

You can find the New Tab button showing as a '+' on the Tab bar. 
You can open the Customize window and drag the New Tab button that shows as a plus sign (+) from the Tab bar on another toolbar and it will become a regular toolbar button like the New Tab button that you have in Firefox 3 versions. 
If you can't find the New Tab button then click the "Restore Default Set" button in the Customize window. 
If you want the New Tab button at the far right end of the Tab bar then place a flexible space to the left of it.
