Hi all,
I'm trying to print the item texts in the contract forms.
I need to print the item texts when the status is 'N' and at the same time the status is blank in the same form.
I tried using t165p.I'm unable to print the both the message status with N and blank at the same time.

Thanks yes, now it get captured soon after changed the item accordingly as you said.
so there is no need of creating hidden item for those item (i.e) &P1_DIS_COURSE_NAME. AND &P1_DIS_DATE.
right??

WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM results at a block/form

Hello friends at www.oracle.com ,
as we know, WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM is a trigger used for item validation. But if I use WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM at a block, or even at a form (since Oracle Forms editor allows me to add a WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM trigger at a block/form), what's the effect of it? How will WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM behave in such situation?

From forms documentation (ever considered to read it?):
A trigger must be attached to a specific object in the form, either an item, a block, or the form itself. The object to which a trigger is attached defines the scope of the trigger, and so helps Form Builder decide which trigger to fire when the corresponding event occurs. Not all triggers are relevant to all objects. For example a When-Button-Pressed trigger would not be attached to a display item.
That means, a when-validate-item-trigger at block level fires for ALL items of the block,
except those ones who have an own when-validate-item-trigger at item level that has the
property "Execution hierarchy" set to "override".

How to do to appear records in a text item when I run my form?

In a form I have a block with BASE TABLE=OPTIUNI_COD.
In this block I have a text item named DENUMIRE.When I run my form the text item is empty and I use F7 , F8 to have some records in the text item.
But I want to appear records in this text item when I run my form without use F7,F8.
How can I do this?

I am looking at an issue with users not getting specific group policies.
After searching a number of client computers I found that the following error
The user '*' preference item in the 'User - 6th Form Students Policy {E03166E7-A848-48B5-AA93-97B848AA9C13}' Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070003 The system cannot find the path specified.' This error was suppressed.
I can find the folder in the Sysvol folder on all of the domain controllers.
The issue with end users seems to be that the proxy settings for internet explorer is not being applied.
Potential problems?

Hi all
In administering this policy I am a little confused.
We have a policy that distributes proxy settings in the internet explorer maintenance settings section - however when opening this policy up in GPO editor the internet explorer maintenance section is not present.
I plan to apply the settings via User/preferences/control panel settings/ internet settings (or registry settings from article) however I am unable to edit the settings for internet explorer maintenance and these will persist. Ideas????

Want a particular item category line item not to print on form

HI!
We would like our smartform for invoice not to print the line item when that item category is "ZABC". I can easily do that by hard coding in the form mentioning when item category is 'ZABC' not to print it instead I was looking for a way using the configuration flag to show whether a line item should show on the form or not . Is theer a way I can do it by this method instead of going staraight by hardcoding the item category? Is theer a way on the configuration side which I can use to indicate the line item with item category 'ZABC' not to print onto the form?
KIndly indicate of it cane be done and how.

Hi Aarav,
Item category details are in table TVAP. For billable item category the Carry out pricing indicator (Field PRSFD) will be checked (X) and for free item category the field is blank. Check the table entry for both free and valuated item category and there you will find the difference in the table entries.
So based on the data in TVAP you can set the condition in Form for displaying the line item.

I have created new form and i want to attach LOV of Item like in Requisition Form a LOV attached with Item Text Box.

Change item value at Sales Invoice form before create a document

I am trying to change value for "TrackNo" item on the sales invoice form just before create a sales invoice,
I have the following code:

It seems to work only If i have selected the logistics folder ( the folder where the "TrackNo" Item is located)
If I have selected another folder as "contents" or "Accouting" when I create the document it fails.
Can you help me with this problem?

Buenas Sergio,
Try forcing a click event on the logistic folder. I don´t think there is another option. You are only able to asign the value if the control is visible(and editable).

Sorry, you cannot increase the limit. The limit is actually on the number of columns in the response table, which is currently set to 500.

Populating configuration items: Computers, Services and People under Related Items tab in Computer CI form

Hi,
We have integrated SCCM and SCOM with SCSM to import the CI information in CMDB.
We are able to import few CI information from SCCM regarding softwares, OS, etc and from SCOM regarding hardware and discovered objects.
When we open the Computer CI in SCSM, we are able to relate almost all the fields from SCCM and SCOM expect Related items tab.
The Configuration Items: Computers, Services and People are empty under related items tab on Computer CI form.
Kindly please help me to understand regarding this related items tab.
Any help will be very much appreciated.

Hi,
The Related Items is not automatically populated by any out-of-box connector. You can manually add related configuration items there. What were you expecting to show up under this section?

Restricted Item LOV for Inventory Modules form

Hi
I want to customize Item LOV on miscellaneous transactions form in Oracle inventory module. I tried it through personalization by creating a record group but i found that there is no LOV attached with this field (LOV name required in Target Object field)
Can anybody come up with a solution?

Hiding items in system form by changing record

Hi,
I have on system form textbox binded to UDF. If user change the record, the textbox is not showing. I know about possibility to catch events like form_load, resize and data_load where I can set visible to true to this textbox, but my question is, if exists some better method how to say to SBO that this field will be always visible.

I found the problem, in some forms in diferent modes is set diferent panelevel...

SAP Note 1486147 - TDS line item details not flowing in Form 16 A Samrtform

1.     Old Form 16 certificate is printed before 01.04.2010 and new certificate after 01.04.2010. (its correct SAP has written code in such a manner Old one is SAP script and new on is Smartform.)
Old FORM 16 A gets Acknowledgement No details correctly.
2.     Acknowledgment No details are not flowing in the NEW Smart Form of Form 16 A.
When I debug the program I can see PARTNER No details are copied in PAN NO field in TABLE : IT_LFA11[]

Hi,
Achnowledgement details comes in table it_qrtrtab at run time in the smartform, you can dibug the program j_1iewt_cert and smartforms J_1iewt_cert where at run time you will able to see data avaialability, If values are not available in this internal table then check related notes given by SAP, I have already implemented this note and also faced same issue but my FI consultant has given me the related note and my issue was resolved.
Please checkout related notes and data population in the dibugger.
