Highlight clipping does not work

I have done exposure bias tests overexposing a sheet of white paper. Even my +5 overexposed files do not show clipping. LAB values read 100% even on +3 exp biased shots.

case. The report works fine and i get all the results
no matter what the cap is. The problem is with
higlighting words in report (this is this built in
functionality in APEX when you choose report and then
specific column to edit then there is a field
"Highlight words". There I put &P70_F_NAME, which is
my search field item name.
The problem is that it does not highlight word if it
has different caps used in it. But the word is still
the same - only caps are different. I need a solution
where the same search string is highlighted no matter
what the caps are.I understand that your search word highlighting is not working the way you expect it to. I was trying to point out that the way mine are implemented, they highlight the search term regardless of case entered into the search field.

but does not highlight words "milK", "Milk", "MILK"
etc
What I need is that all those words would be
highlighted as well.I suspect that you might be overriding the highlighting with some other styling, either through your template definition or column specific formatting.
Can you put an example of this on apex.oracle.com so we can look at it and try to see what's going on? If you do put it on the hosted site make sure to reply back here with the workspace, login and password, application and page number where the problem occurs.

Using the spacebar for starting and stopping a clip does not work

The spacebar for starting and stopping the playing of a clip in the viewer of a sequence in the timeline has a live of its own. Without changing any setings, it sometimes works, but mostly not. Is there a seeting, I have not figured out yet? While in a session with Final Cut Express, it does not change its behavior. It starts with a working or not working spacebar. The same applies to the arrows to go back and for a frame, or back and for a clip. If the spacebar does not work, the arrows do not work either.

As uggested, I deleted the preferences in the library (which is also what is suggested by fcpbook.com/Misc1.html)
I am used working with Final Cut for some time now. And just got myself a new iMac and the program. So everything is quite new. I did not change any settings so far.
The first 2 days everything was fine.
Then, one day, the spacebar and the arrow key stopped working. Not in the middle of a session, but when I started the FCE new. Inbetween, it worked for some time. Now, the spacebar is gone again.
It's just the function of playing the clip that does not work. In whatever window (timeline, viewer). The function of the spacebar to make a space (for example in te name of clip or in a text file) works fine.
I would not mind the spacebar that much, but I miss the arrow keys to go from frame to frame, or from clip. It's strange.

Highlighting changes does not work with rulebased workflow

Hi Experts,
When we run the standard change requests provided with MDG 7 FP 2 we can see changes highlighted in colour but when we copy the same change request and make it a rule-based workflow we lose the functionality in the new change request.
Is there something else we need to do to have the same functionality for Rule based workflow?

Yes.I am copying the standard change request that is working with highlighting the changes and then I change the copied workflow to the rule based workflow.
The standard Change requests are highlighting the changes.
I am using MDGF 7 with FP 2.
We upgraded from MDG 6.1 to MDG 7 FP 2 and I am not convinced that the old UI was completely replaced when I run report RGZZGLUX before I opened the firs change request.
I have the new UI in my change requests but the highlighting function is not working , even if I create a new CR from the Standard CR's now.

IPhoto video clips does not work in iMovie

I just installed Leopard and ilife '08 into my MAC.
The video clips from my iPhoto library are not shown properly in iMovie. I'm only able to hear the sound of the clip but unable to watch it. when i skim through the clip, i don't see anything on the viewer, i just hear skimming through the sound. when i tried to play the clip, just the sound began to play. even the thumbnail does not show a picture of the clip, its just grey.
Can someone help me please???

I've captured video from my built-in isight camera in my MacBook. when i was trying to skim through or play the video clip in iMovie, the clip didn't appear in the side viewer. I am able to hear the voice of the clip and even see the thumbnail clearly but not in the viewer.
This sounds like part of your original problem. Suggest you try importing the same files to an alternative platform and/or possibly an alternative user account to see if the problem is "global" on your system and "limited" to your system only. Suspect you may have a bad install or corrupted application that may simply be generating unusable "thumbnails" here. You basically need to isolate the problem to see if it is in OS and/or application. For instance, did you update to iMovie v7.1 before or after installing Leopard or better yet, have you installed all of the updates?

Flash video with cuepoints and skin does not work

Hi guys, i created a SWF file based on the template available

Basically the movie has navigation buttons on the left side
of the video display to enable users to jump to predefined sections
(topics) within the video. It also has the video controls under the
video.
I imported my video as well as the sample provided in the
webpage above and the clip does not work in Presenter. I can see
the skin but the buttons flash and we cannot see the video. I'm not
a Flash or Presenter expert. Just wondering if anyone can help
troubleshoot this. We would really like to embed a swf with
navigation buttons into Presenter. is this possible? ideas

I'm sure someone will post a workaround for you (there are about 4 or 5 different workarounds people have posted at various times). But I wanted to thank you for your post. My experience as a very recent PC to Mac convert has been frustrating, mostly due to Keynote. When I first started using Keynote I was amazed at what it could do. I spent a lot of time working on a project (several days) only to spend another several days trying to figure out why it wouldn't Export. I finally logged onto the forums and see that people have been posting about this problem for MONTHS. It's been very frustrating to say the least and is a major flaw.
Your note is the first indication I received that Apple is truly working on this issue. I feel for people who posted months ago waiting for an update every day. Like them, I sent a support email (not answered).Your note shows both hope and progress. Apple could really convert a lot of people if it got software like Keynote to work correctly. I'm still blown away by its power. But it's like owning a Ferrari with now wheels. It has a lot of power, but there's nothing you can do with it until you get wheels.

The blue indicator in system audio panel will appear for a second as I slide the bar for internal mic but then it disappears. Is there a fix?

If the clips are not actually missing, you could try to refresh the timeline by using cmd-0 and then going to the timeline options tab. Then select name only where it says "thumbnail display". Press ok to accept the change, then repeat the process to add thumbnails back to your timeline.

Row highlight does not work when class has a background-clolor

This is more a CSS / javascript question but since the problem occurs in Apex I'll try my luck here.
I try to implement a row highlight feature that worked in 3.2 but not in 4.0. The difference is that the style that is used for the table cells contains a background-color in the 4.0 template and it did not in 3.2.
This is how it works.
I created a report template with "before each row" : <tr onMouseOver="cOn(this);" onMouseOut="cOut(this);">
The javascript does this:

Right click clip in sequence to remove attributes does not work?

Trying to get my old head around the three way color corrector. In the process when I try to right click a clip in the sequence to remove the attributes it does not work. When I do it again the filter square is still ticked. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help. The transition from Avid to FCP is not an easy one for me.

Also are the pdf files password protected?
In password protected files user is not allowed to add any comments.

Clip Speed and Transpose does not work on a sound clip

Dear All,
I am trying to slow down and change pitch of an .aiff sound clip in Soundtrack pro but the "Clip Speed" and "Transpose" does not work. I tried the same version of the clip in .mp3 format but nothing happens. It is a music clip 2 min 19sec long. What am I not aware of?
I am using 2.0.2 version and I am fairly new to the software.

Have you checked the integration services (Assuming you are using Hyper-V)?
The devices are configured based on the related services. You might need to install/Configure that thing.

Color Highlights does not work for chart

When I set the color coding in the chart, it works fine if I run the crystal report on the same DB that I use to design the report.
Problem occurs if I run the report on another DB. Color Highlights does not work in that case.
I am using JRC to run the reports.

In chart expert there is a tab "Color Highlightsu201D. In this tab one can specify the condition based coloring.
In my case I want to show "RED" color for Unauthorized events andu201D GREEN" color for Authorized Events.
While creating a report suppose I am using a database server "DB-A".I set the color highlights in the chart as I explained. Please be noted that when we click on the color highlights tab it asks for the database login.
To view the report we have our own server and we are using JRC APIs.
Hence I map my report with server and try to view the Report. My Server is connected with database "DB-B" which is different from the database I used to create the report.
This time color Highlight I have specified while creating the report does not work.
I have tried using the "Format Series Riser" option. But the problem with this is that, it does not color the chart conditionally.
I mean if I give GREEN for Authorized and RED for Unauthorized. It gives the green color either to Authorized or Unauthorized which so ever occur first in the chart.
For example:-suppose there is no Authorized Event on date 15-Jan-2009 and I select the date range starting from 15-Jan.In this case Unauthorized event is the first to print on the chart hence this event get the green color though I expect this events to be in RED color.

Do those entries have a yellow star at the far right?
If they have then they are bookmarks. You can remove them if you open that link and click the star to open the Edit This Bookmark dialog and click the Remove button in that dialog.
