Highlight words in html page set on editorpane

hi everyone
please help me quickely
I have java application
I could display html with hyperlinks on Jeditorpane
but my problem is that
i want to get specific word in this page
to highlight it and display this html page with highlighted word
can anyone solve my problem?

Thank you for the reply. I can understand if it was changed intentionally for some reason, though I can't think what that reason might be.
I know that it definitely works fine in Firefox 21, and changed in Firefox22 and 23 (I tested the beta, aurora and nightly versions and the behavior is the same as 22 & 23 there too)
I have attached two screen shots of what it looks like when I open a new tab on firefox 21 vs firefox 23. When I use a completely new profile (or even on a different operating system), the behavior is consistent as well, so I think this is definitely something that changed from 22 onwards. (link titles changed)
I should add, this quite drastically changes the way I use firefox, because I am no longer able to use middle click to paste URLs or search terms into the URL bar. I might select the out put of an error message in a terminal and then just middle click to paste in the bar and hit enter to go from there.

Recently I have had ads highlight words on every page I visit while using Safari...How do I get rid of these?

I do not know how this happened, but every time I go to a web page using Safari, an ad has highlighted particular words and if I accidentally scroll over them it either takes me to that website or a pop-up window will show up right in the middle of the page. This has only happened over the past two weeks. Have never had this issue. Anyone know what's up?

You installed the "DownLite" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the line and select
          Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "VSearch" selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.
Repeat with each of these lines:

From the Safari menu bar, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Uninstall any extensions you don't know you need, including any that have the word "Spigot" or "Conduit" in the description. If in doubt, uninstall all extensions. Do the equivalent for the Firefox and Chrome browsers, if you use either of those.

This failure of oversight is inexcusable and has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

How to centre the html pages & How to set the Index as Homepage (just upgraded to CS5 and am lost)

Ive just upgraded to CS5 and am a bit lost!!
1st Problem
I updated our website design (which was previously designed in fireworks using CS3) using Fireworks CS5 and exported the images etc as html and loaded into the website folder.... however now Im in dreamweaver and ive tried centring the page, but when I go into live view, its aligned on the left....
My method.... I open the page, I select the 'table' then in the property box, under Align, i click 'Centre'. This was how i centred in the older version.
2nd Problem
Where do you set the homepage?? In the version ive been using up until recently, in the 'Local view' file manager (on the right) i would simply highlight the 'index.html' page, then right-click and select 'set as homepage'..... that seems to have disappeared in the newer version. How do I do this now???

Ibooks hangs when I try to highlight words.

When I preview my ibook, ibooks hangs when I try to highlight words only a page with an interactive image?

I'm having the same problem, but my page does not have any interactives.
When I try to preview the book on my mac instead of my IPad IBooks quits unexpectedly.

How to convert word documents to html page in sharepoint online 2013

Hi,
I am new SharePoint and still learning it.
I have been tasked to do the following on office 365 E3 SharePoint 2013 Online edition.
1) I have to create a Web page in asp.net
2) This page needs to show document from a given SharePoint folder and bind them in a grid or dropdown on the asp .net web page
3) On selecting the document from the drop down or gird (on asp .net webpage), I need to show the SharePoint word document as HTML on the webpage (something like word to html) Note: These SharePoint word document may contain Images, bullets, tables etc.
What I have been able to do till now
1) I have been able to connect to SharePoint from ASP .net application.
2) I have been able to retrieve document from a specific SharePoint folder.
3) Read the document from SharePoint folder and bind them to a drop down on the asp .net page.
What is missing?
I am not aware about any API that SharePoint Online provides to convert Word document to HTML. Any code sample or reference on how to will be much appreciated.
I am not also not sure what is the best way of achieving the functionality this?

If this was SharePoint server then it would be easy however in O365 You need to create a app which will use the word automation service and below is powershell which you can use for the conversion:-

Set DOCTYPE for a self rendered HTML page using cl_gui_html_viewer

I'm dealing with HTML in ABAP and i' stuck with a nasty little problem. Perhaps somebody know's the answer and can help me out. Thanks in advance. (I'm sorry for my poor english)
My problem is:
I am rendering a html page in abap and display ist using a cl_gui_html_viewer.
Works fine.
But now in need to set the right DOCTYPE for the rendered html page.
If i add the DOCTYPE definition, my html page is not displayed, instead i get a display of the html-code??
To break it down to the root:
How can i add the DOCTYPE definition to a self-rendered html page?
If i add the DOCTYPE definition as first element of my html table, the html code won't be interpreted.
If i do not add the DOCTYPE defintion everything works fine.
I need the DOCTYPE definition so that the browser won't get into quirks mode and interpretes the html tag's right.
What i've done so far:
(Dynpro, container, html_viewer)
Load my JScripts (with load_mime_object)
Load my CSS (with load_mime_object)
Load my HTML:

I've "solved" my issue with a little workaround.
I created an empty html page with an existing DOCTYPE def and an tag like <!MYDATA!>
After that i filled 'l_merge_table TYPE swww_t_merge_table' with my tag and my html_data.
Loaded the whole thing with CALL METHOD gr_labform_html->load_html_document and now the DOCTYPE is set fully correct!
But i'm still interessted why i can't set the DOCTYPE directly? Anybody knows?

I am looking at a web page with highlighted words that are links that open new windows. I don't even click on them and they upen as I pass over them accidentily with the cursor. extremely annoying!what is it called and how can I remove this 'feature'

it is usually one highlighted word that when touched, opens up a small window of related companies or info or websites that I might be interested in. one word "presenter" was highlighted, touched it with my cursor, and I think caught a damaging virus.

How do You set -noverify in an HTML page that calls an applet

I have an applet which runs fine from inside JBuilder when I specify a
-noverify switch in the debugger. (java -noverify myapplet.class)
Without this switch, I get a verification exception.
So I need to specify the -noverify switch from inside a webpage so that when the client runs it, he does not get the same exception.
The question is how do you pass -noverify to JVM from an HTML page that uses <applet> tag and javascript?

Odd, because I work on an applet that gets built with 1.4. We have 30,000+ clients who use it every day, and I'm sure we don't tell them about setting -noverify switches in their plug-in control panel, and we don't (cuz we can't) set it in the applet (object/embed, actually) tag.
Of course, I suppose it could be a backwards compatibility issue going from compiling in newer version than it's run in.

Although the submit and the form work fine, the portal will not allow the cookie to be set it seems.
Is there a way to allow cookies to be set from an embedded page in a url iview??

Cookie Basics
Web browsers have built in rules for receiving and sending cookies. When a browser makes a request to a web server and the web server returns cookies with the response, the browser will only accept a cookie if the domain associated with the cookie matches that of the original request. Assuming that you mean with "created a session" that you've created a bean and have set it as an attribute of the HttpSession, e.g.httpSession.setAttribute("someBean", someBean);then do for example using the JSTL c:out tag:<p><c:out value="${someBean.someProperty}" /></p>or, if you're using at least Servlet 2.4 API with JSP 2.0 API which allows EL in template text, then do for example:<p>${someBean.someProperty}</p>

I don't believe this is a Genieo problem, though. Genieo usually just hijacks the search engine. It doesn't cause the random underlined words that cause ads to pop up. That's going to be caused by some other adware, probably also described in my Adware Removal Guide.

Help with setting up a new html page

Following the tutorial and it tells me to select 'structure' on the insert tab when setting up a new html page. I do not have the 'structure' option. Help please.

If you don't have the Structure option, you probably don't have Dreamweaver CC. The tutorial is designed for CC. It won't work with earlier versions of Dreamweaver.

Is it possible for an applet to set a values on a HTML page?
I know there is getParameter but how do I set one?
even if it involves setting some JavaScript object/variable...

How do I get rid of words being highlighted within my web page

Words are highlighted within my web page and if you hover over the word it loads an advertisement.

You may have installed the "DownLite" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the line and select
          Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)

This failure of oversight is inexcusable and has compromised both Gatekeeper and the Developer ID program. You can't rely on Gatekeeper alone to protect you from harmful software.

from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
