Hot to identify WF Item Type

Dear,
I hope so you all are fine.I want to know how i can identify which workflow is attached with my form.if i go to PO or Invoice Form in Payable. How i can find which workflow or item type is attached with this form.
Thanks
SK

Hi,
No - there is nothing from the front end. If you pulled the form apart and looked at the underlying code, then you might find a call which starts a flow - or it might be something that puts a message on a queue which then gets processed by Workflow, or raises a business event....
If you have a specific form in mind, then asking in the forum for the appropriate product might help you. If it's custom code, then you'll need to either look at the code within the form or have a functional / technical specification document which provides the information.
Likewise, there is no way to look at a Workflow instance and find out where it came from - there are too many different ways that the flow could have been started for that to be possible.

Matt

  • Why URL column in WWSBR_ALL_ITEMS is empty for url item type??

I tried to query url of the url item from WWSBR_ALL_ITEMS, but url doesn't return anything. Did I queried wrong table? Can someone please let me know how to find the actual url(such as http://www...) for the url item type. Thanks!

I don't remember exactly where I got this solution -- I think it was from a TAR -- but I have the following comment on the copy of WWSBR_ALL_ITEMS that we use to replace the one that ships with Portal 3.0.9.8:
    "The join between WWV_THINGS(t) and WWSBR_URL$(u) is defined as t.url = u.url(+). The join should be t.id = u.object_id(+)"
I haven't looked at the type stuff in a while, but I remember that we used the subtype to identify things when we were working with that view.

  • How to identify Contract items in a SO

    Hi,
I want to display the support Contract Value. If the sales order contains support items then i need to display the support value in the report. For this first i need to identify the support/contract items in a SO.I am not aware about the inventory item types. So how to identify the Contract items in a SO.
    Thanks,

If you are using Oracle's service contract functionality, then the contract item type code should be populated.
Run the following to see if Service Contracts is installed.
select status from fnd_product_installations where application_id=515
It seems to me that your client is not using this functionality. They may be creating regular items and assigning a different status or item type. Talk to someone in the Master Data group and find out the process of creating a service item.
Service item is a type of a contract item (other types are warranty, usage and subscription.) Please also go thru' the link I provided earlier.

  • How to not select an invoice if a certain line item type is present?

    Hi,
I've created a report that lists all invoices that have a particular line item type on it.  For example, I wanted to produce a revenue report by item type, "P-Tank". So, the invoice table links to the invoice line items table. Each line item record has a "resource id" on it. The resource id links to the resource type table. So, if invoice #8 has, say, three line items and one of them has a resource type of "P-Tank" then I report on it.  Basically, I'm making a report grouped by Resource ID and the Resource ID must by of Resource Type 1, 2 or 3.  So, this report I've solved.
Now, I want to report on those invoices that do not have either a resource type 1, 2 or 3 item on it.  If I use a formula:
"Not ({resource_type.resource_type_id} in [1, 2, 3]) that doesn't work because it just omits the line item that is of resource type 1, 2 or 3....but still leaves the invoice on the report with the other line item types. * I want to identify any and all invoices that do not have either a line item resource type 1, 2, or 3 on it.*
    Any help is much appreciated!
    thx,
    Mark

    Hi Abhilash,
That didn't seem towork.  I'll simplify the example to see if we can find the answer easier this way.
I'm using two tables: invoice; and invoice_items
An invoice can have many items on it.
I don't want my query to select any invoices that have a Tank item on it (Tank has a resource id = 8).
So, I'll join the invoice table to the invoice_items table:
    invoice.invoice_id = invoice_items.invoice_id.
The result set looks like the following:
Invoice #        Invoice Item #     Invoice Resource ID
    22                              1                               8
    22                              2                               9
    23                              1                               5
So, because Invoice #22 has a line item with resource id = 8 on it I do not want Invoice #22 to appear on the report at all, regardless of what other items and resource id's are on it.
I have tried joining the two tables in every manner (e.g. inner, outer, not enforced, enforced, etc) and even when I put the condition, invoice_items.resource_id <> 8, it still brings up Invoice #22 but just omits the one line item and leaves the record with resource id 9 (in the example above).  I don't want Invoice #22 to appear at all in the report.
Does that help clarify the problem?
    thx,
    Mark

  • Identify unread items in Inbox via SDK

I have determined that it is possible to read the items in a user's inbox via the RESTful WS SDK, since it can be accessed like any other folder.
I would like to know if it is possible to identify which items in the in the inbox are unread.
(As far as I can determine, the answer is no, but I'm hoping I missed something).

    hi Emily
You are correct. The Platform Rest WS just returns infoobjects and their types.  It doesn't return info that is specific to the type of plugin associated with the infoobject. This could be a great enhancement for the SAP Idea Place though.

  • A/P Credit Memo (Item Type) not to deduct quantity in inventory

    Hi,
    1. I purchased an item > supplier gave me invoice> I key in A/P Invoice (Item Type)
    2. Found out item was overpriced
    3. Supplier gave me Credit Note to adjust the price
How do I key in this credit note via A/P Credit Memo? To my understanding if I key in the a/p credit memo (item type), my inventory quantity will be deducted as well.

Because the item is over priced, it means that my inventory gl is over stated. When I get the supplier's CN, I will have to reduce the inventory gl. When I create a Service Type A/P Credit Memo I must choose inventory gl. But this will create another problem - Inventory Audit Report balance will not tally with Inventory gl balance (because i didn't reduce the item price in the first place). To solve this is to do a Inventory Revaluation.
Hi Lay Chin, what you suggested is the best option so far.
Thank you everyone for the reply.

  • Unable to change gl account in purchasing document rows of item type(8.8 ve

    Hi all,
In previous sap b1 version ,in purchase document rows of item type -- system allows to change the gl account in rows.
But in current 8.8 it is missing ,can any one know how to activate this or is there any logical reason to lock this.
    Regards,
    Naresh K

    Hi Chandra,
In some older version this was possible. This was changed as this is the stock account to avoid usage of incorrect account and valuation report issues.
If you want a specific stock account for the item change you can define that on the item master data. Set it to Item Level and then change the GL account.
    Hope it helps,
    Jesper

  • Line item type

If I know a line item type name how can i find how many Rate Categories currently receive this line item type?

    Hi,
Other than writing a BI or other custom report, you could do it in multiple steps:
Run report REAVAR01 for the Line Item Type in question (as the only parameter)
This will list the Variant Program/s that use the line item type.
Then for each Variant you can do a "Where used" to see which Rates the Variant (hence the line item type) is used in.
    I hope it helps.

  • Sales AR Item Type Invoice Print Layout Design "Sub Total" per Page

    Dear Forum Team
We need some advice on how to modify, fomulate(?) [Sub Total] for each page's 'amount' on the Sales AR Item Type Invoice.
Currently the 'sub total amount' on each page is showing Grand Total instead of sub total.
    Thanks

    Hi,
In you PLD, In repetitive area, you might have linked the fields like Item name, Item Description, and so on. In these fields one of the field will be Total for line items.  Am i right?
If it is so, then in repetitive area footer, Create one Formula field and give formula PageSum("Field_025") (in your case)
    Ie., Field_201 = PageSum("Field_025")
Field_025 - contains the Line Total of Row items.
I hope this could help you.

  • How to know item type in a .fmt???

My problem is that I don't know item type when I read a .fmt
    Please, Help Me.
    Thank You

The FMT format is not designed to be readable - use the Forms Object list report instead. If you are trying to make changes by changing the FMT, this is not supported. Look at the Forms C api in 6i and 9i or the Java API (JDAPI) in 9i to do this kind of operation.
