Hotsyncing to new desktop Dell XP operating system

I think I have installed the software correctly. The little hotsync blue & red arrows
show up on my screen in the lower right hand spot. The little picture of the Palm shows up on the desktop screen...... But when I press the hotsync button on the cradle, it won't do it. And then I get the meaagse on the Palm that it was unable to connect to the computer. What am I doing wrong?

You can turn off compatibility checking, but more and more of the Google Toolbar will not work. Google is no longer supporting the Google Toolbar so you should use the alternatives.

I found that Time Machine in Mavericks will sort it all out for you. You shouldn't need to buy another backup drive, unless you have insufficient space left and can't afford to delete whats on there. It should just work fine.

You need to copy 2 files, key3.db and signons.sqlite, from the old [[profiles|profile folder]] to the profile folder on the new computer.

If you backed up before the upgrade, restore the backup.
If not you are going to have to erease the disk and install the older OS.
You should back up any data you want before so that it can be restored afterwards.
Is there a version of you CAD program that is Lion compatable? That would be an easier solution.

You say that nothing happens, yet you are able to export to youtube. Please describe in detail what you are trying.
What destinations do you see? How exactly are you trying to export?
Also: Cmd-E will only work if you set a default destination.

The computer is an HP Pavilion dv7-3165dx Entertainment Notebook and I have Windows 7 Professional (64x) as the operating system. Tried to download Mediasmart from the HP Web page to play DVD and Blu-Ray Discs. The programs downloaded but will not install. Any suggestions?

Adobe's new 64 bit multimedia operating system code named Quick Silver

As far as I know Adobe is not creating a 64 bit bit operating system but I wish they would. Or at the very least they should make a web browser called Quick Silver. I am writng this because I seen the Mozilla Fire Fox video. I think Moziila will soon write a mobile OS and maybe even a desktop OS. They are even asking for donations. I like Fire Fox because it is free. If they charge for it I would probably just use IE. I know Adobe has the free Acrobat Reader and Flash Player why not a web borwser? I think if Adobe created an OS and gave it away free for 18-19 months it could get a large amount market share. Two years later they could start to charge $35 for the OS. I think within 3 years Adobe could get 50% of the market share for new computers if the OS was only about $35.00 for the download version ($45.00 retail version). I don't doubt that Adobe could get a good 50% of the market share and other multimedia software and hardware vendors would also support the Adobe OS. Before I make the feature request I would like to know your thoughts.

Imagine if the car industry ran like software/hardware:
Dragging your car home with a rope (and no wheels because they were not included) to spend 8 hours removing unnecessary things like 'McAfee windshield wiper fluid made from glue', 'iMovie sticky gum' on the upholstery, and "VAIO media player lemon scent deeply rigged into the AC unit" which has pretty much nothing to do with the car... only to call the dealership and ask: "when I start my car and pres the window down button the right blinker turns on and then the vehicle stops" then be put on hold for 6 months to receive the following response "what was the number of times the blinker flashed before the car turned off? we need that number to determine what part to send"... and then when you finally DO get the wheels the dealership releases a new version of your car and the state puts a road law into effect that crashes your vehicle when it touches the road unless you pay the dealership to upgrade from car 1.5 to car 1.5.7390... which when you do the engine is not supported? So... you buy the NEW NEW car that comes with 1.6 installed in the engine and find out the wheels will not be released till next month.

I would totally would have preferred to pay $6500.00 for a "Dedicated Adobe Tower Master Collection Desktop" @ $65 per month (hardware included)

When a new car comes out they don't just change the wheel well and expect the Tire manufacturers to follow suit later, no indeed, that kind of thing is rolled out proper and one can drive right off the lot the day its bought.

How to install Deskjet 3055a, new router but unsupported operating system on Macbook

Hi, Please go easy with me, I really know very little about all this ! We have a Deskjet 3055A printer which has been linked wirelessly to my iPad and a MacBook without a problem until now. We have installed a new router. I am thinking that we have to amend our network in some way ? I have tried to run the HP cd on the MacBook to amend it, but all I get is the message as follows... "Unsupported operating system. The installer is not compatible with the version of the operating system on your computer. It is compatible only with 10.6 and below." The MacBook is running OS X version 10.9.5 Any help greatly appreciated - thank you ! ( Please keep it simple !! ) We

I understand you are trying to install your Deskjet 3055A on your Mac, running Mavericks. The installation CD may be compatible up to 10.6, and that could be why you are seeing the error message.
This link should help you. It will show you how to install the printer on your Mac. There is no full driver and software available for the Deskjet 3055A on Mavericks, which basically means you will need to review your other options to scan on your Mac through Apple Updates, which is all included in the guide.

NMH 410 new software/firmware and operating system

Hi.
I have a NMH410 without any disks installed.
Just bought one new 2TB disk.
Is it possible/need to format/preinstall the software before inserting the new disk?
Then i need a procedure.
I'm unable to find any software download for the NMH410.
I suppose that the installation CD is just for final configuration after the HUB is up and running.

No need to reformat the drive but you might want to check the compatibility list first.

Pavilion p6-2203a Desktop PC . Operating system Windows 8, 64-bit

I am having trouble with my keyboard. Some of the keys I use in conjunction with the Shift key do not produce the symbols I want - especially those above the number keys. For instance Shift+3 produces the £ sign instead of the hash symbol (which I cannot locate anywhere on my keyboard) and the @ sign has to be produced by using the Shift key + the " key. I have sent email messages to HP Help online, have followed the instructions they have given me regarding re-setting my input options in the Control Panel, but to no avail.
Can someone help me with this frustrating issue I have.

I'm assuming you are using Win 7.
It seems like your keyboard isn't set to US Region.
Please go to Control Panel -> Clock, Language, and Region. Click on "Change Keyboards or other input methods". Click on "Change keyboards". Capture a screenshot and post it here.

New operating system is burning up my battery life -- any suggestions!?

New 7.0.3 operating system seems to be burning up my battery. My 4s i-phone doesn't hold the charge at all now and this started when I installed the new OS. Is anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions how to get my battery efficiency back -- at least until I can turn in my 4s for a 5c in March 2014.
