where ItemCode like 'FX%'
how can I change 'FX%' to another value
I tried to make it as paramter
where ItemCode like $[ItemCode]
but I am receiving an error

Try this:
Select ItemCode,ItemName from OITM
where ItemCode = $[$5.0.0]
5 = Item number of form (On item master data 5 is item-number)
0 = Column of item... since item 5 is no matrix 0 shoul be used.
0 = Casting type (0 is default, but int, string and date is possible)

I am using JHeadstart, but have a question probably more in the ADF area. On the JHeadstart forum I asked:
"I am overriding JhsApplicationModule's advancedSearch in order to be able to search in childtables. I created transient attributes, display those in advanced search and in the overridden method I check if any of these are filled by the user and create a where clause like 'EXISTS (SELECT 1 FROM <childtable> WHERE <column in childtable> = <column in EO's table> AND <another column in childtable> LIKE '<value supplied by user>)'. I add this whereclause using ViewObject.setWhereClause.
So far so good and it works. However, if the user selects 'Result matches any criteria', combining setWhereClause and the normal advancedSearch QueryByExample implementation using ViewCriteriaRow do not provide the desired result, since the ViewCriteria and the setWhereClause are AND-ed together, which is fine if the user selects the (default) "Results match all criteria" (everything is AND-ed) but not the "Result matches any criteria", since then every criterium is OR-ed together, except for the setwhereclause criteria and the set of ViewCriteriaRows, they are AND-ed.
I looked if I could specify that a WhereClause will be OR-ed to existing applied ViewCriteria, but no luck. Do I have to rewrite also advancedSearch's ViewCriteria implementation and write an entire setWhereClause implementation to be able to "OR" every criterium? Or any other suggestions? Can I look at the entire Where clause and rewrite it (after applyCriteria and setWhereClause are called on the VO)?

Sandra Muller (JHeadstart Team) told me today: "This sounds like a JDeveloper/ADF issue that is not related to JHeadstart. The question is: how can you add a where clause using "OR" if there are already one or more ViewCriteria applied?
To simplify the test case, you could create a simple ADF BC test client class in a test Model project without JHeadstart (in the test class, use bc4jclient + Ctrl-Enter), in which you first apply a few ViewCriteriaRows to a View Object and also add a where clause.

You can't easily unless you have the latest version (2.1.1).
If you do have this version then changing the font in the Tools/Preferences menu under the code editor/fonts section will also change the font of the data grid.

You are trying to find a loophole to circumvent a basic rule that prohibits the transfer of purchased content from one Apple ID to another.

Incase you are not able to make any changes there then in that case you have to redefine the method GET_DQUERY_DEFINITION () of the IMPL class to delete the operators for a particular serach field.

Problem with this query is, the block mentioned in BOLD is returning two rows, and I am writing between and clause .. since the query in bold is returning more than one row, it is throwing error stating that single query returns more than one row .. Requirement is, whatever date which is returned with value 100002513 should be compared with sysdate, and other value 100002484 should be compared with sysdate .. Irrespective of number of items (whether 1 or more than 1) should simultaneously be compared with sysdate

I have 2 VOs, say HeaderVO and LinesVO, these VOs are used to create a view link - HeaderToLinesVL - HeaderVO is Master VO and LinesVO is DetailVO. These VOs and VL are used in HGrid. Depending on the search criteria entered by user I have to change the query of HeaderVO and LinesVO. I am able to change query of HeaderVO using setQuery, but when setQuery used on LinesVO, it is throwing an exception saying Query can't be changed because it is detail VO. Is there any other way to change the query. Or any other idea to implement this functionality.

Column Security - Users can't see it, but need to use it in the query WHERE Clause
I am looking at possible solutions (if any) on column security. We need to be able to restrict users from seeing certain columns, however, they will need these columns in the WHERE clause of queries.
I thought about creating views, however, it would be a poor database design. Is there any way that this can be done on the database level. I know about Fine Granular Access Method, however, this just excludes the column completely. Which means that they can not be used in the WHERE clause.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PhilipI too added 2nd apple ID when I tried to get Free app from apple store just to get to NONE on the credit card needed. It said it sent confirmation email to my new apple ID email that I have to confirm. Problem is I can not get to the new apple ID email account. On my ipad it logs into my original email account and I see no where to log into another email account. If I go to my laptop, the new apple ID I created does not let me log into email where apple said it was sent to. It did not send to back up email account either.

I need to change my VO query where and order by clause dynamically based on the selectOneChoice options. Any code example would be greately appreciated. I am using jdeveloper 11g, adf bc, oracle db.
buildWhereClause() accepts 2 arguments; the first is the complete query, which you will have to change by adapting the WHERE clause. You do this after you call super.buildWhereClause().
As far as calling it from a backing bean, you won't be able to call it directly. This method is called by the framework when the VO's query needs to be run. You can accomplish this by calling executeQuery() on the VO or the bould iterator.
Now as far as passing your selectOneChoices' options, your selectOneChoices should be bound to your VO. Then you can access them from inside buildWhereClause().

How can change the created date on a photo?

I have imported photos that were originally taken in summer 2002 (and where dated as such), now they have been imported to iPhoto, the created and modified dated have changed to the date I imported them (14th Sept 06), therefore they are now sitting in the wrong years folders.
How can I move this pictures back to the correct folder i.e 2002/ I have tried amended the date in 'get info' however the date can't be changed.

mini mac Mac OS X (10.4.7)I haven't tried moving photos among the 'years' folders, but you can alter a photo's date in the 'info' box that pops up at the lower left when you click on the "i" button down there. You can also change the date of an existing folder by the same means -- that will change the sort-order of the library.
