How can I access SCXI module serial numbers programmatically?
Hardware traceability is a necessity in my industry, so I need to be able to track the SCXI modules used in a test by stamping the serial numbers on the data files. I am able to do this for the DAQ devices, but I cannot find a way to do this for the SCXI modules. I am using LabWindows/CVI with NI-DAQ 7.0 traditional.
You cannot "access it" at all using a serial number.
Please explain what you are attempting.

APEX Report - how can i create column with serial numbers in a report
Need help
I have created a report with displaying no of rows resticted to 43, every time i genarate this report i would like to add serial numbers from 6 to 48
apear in additional column. How can i do this?This is not really an APEX question, and would have been better posted on the {forum:id=75} forum.
Note also that the best way to get fast, effective answer to questions is to provide sufficient information for people to fully understand them:

You should also ensure that your forum profile is updated with a better handle than "user8308442".
Getting back to the question, one way to do this is using the analytic function ROW_NUMBER():
with t as (
-- Test data. Replace with actual query. ---------------------------------------
select
dbms_random.string('a', 10) query_data
from
dual
connect
by rownum <= 43)
select
5 + row_number() over (order by query_data) sn -- use required ordering here
, t.query_data
from
t
order by
sn

I'm using NT, Labview 5.0 and NI-DAQI 6.8.1. also LV 6.1 w/NI-DAQ 6.9.2 and would like labview to determine the current SCXI gain settings. How can I parcel the ni-config.daq file into text?
Hi,
niconfig.daq is a binary configuration file and cannot be parced into a text file; the format of the data stored in it is not available.

Hello...I'm still kind of fresh to the Apple world. I did not know that you needed previous apps to add an old one. In my pc days, you just cleared your drive. Help! I hope I didn't blow my money on an old laptop and new program!!!!
Mattie,
When you buy an Adobe application second hand, you need a licence transfer through Adobe. The (final) application cannot have been used for any kind of upgrade, but it may be an upgrade itself and require serial numbers from the one(s) that went before it.

Here is the Adobe page for downloading CS4:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

How can I access another class in a MembershipRule's Expression
Hello,
I want to create an InstanceGroup using Module Microsoft.SystemCenter.GroupPopulator.
I need to collect all Logical Disks which contain an MS SQL DB Log File.
I would start as follows:
<DataSource ID="DS" TypeID="SC!Microsoft.SystemCenter.GroupPopulator">
<RuleId>$MPElement$</RuleId>
<GroupInstanceId>$Target/Id$</GroupInstanceId>
<MembershipRules>
<MembershipRule>
<MonitoringClass>$MPElement[Name="Windows!Microsoft.Windows.LogicalDisk"]$</MonitoringClass>
<RelationshipClass>$MPElement[Name="MSIL!Microsoft.SystemCenter.InstanceGroupContainsEntities"]$</RelationshipClass>
<Expression>
<And>
<!--
First Expression
-->
<Expression>
<SimpleExpression>
<ValueExpression>
<Property>$MPElement[Name="Windows!Microsoft.Windows.LogicalDevice"]/Name$</Property>
</ValueExpression>
<Operator>Equal</Operator>
<ValueExpression>
<!--
How can I access another class's properties ?
-->
<GenericProperty>$MPElement[Name="SQL!Microsoft.SQLServer.2008.DBLogFile"]/Drive$</GenericProperty>
</ValueExpression>
</SimpleExpression>
</Expression>
<Expression>
<SimpleExpression>
<ValueExpression>
<HostProperty>
<MonitoringClass>$MPElement[Name="Windows!Microsoft.Windows.Computer"]</MonitoringClass>
<Property>PrincipalName</Property>
</HostProperty>
</ValueExpression>
<Operator>Equal</Operator>
<ValueExpression>
<GenericProperty>$MPElement[Name="SQL!Microsoft.SQLServer.2008.DBLogFile"]/Drive$</GenericProperty>
</ValueExpression>
</SimpleExpression>
</Expression>
</And>
</Expression>
</MembershipRule>
</MembershipRules>
</DataSource>
In the first expression you "see" my question:
I want to compare the LogicalDisk's Name Property with the DB Log File's Drive property.
But how can I access the DB Log File's Drive property in this MembershipRule ?
Furthermore LogicalDisk and DB Log File must be hosted on the same Windows Computer.
Would be great if somebody could help.
Thanks
SebastianHi Niki,
thanks for the idea, but that will not work. $Target/Id$ refers always to the group to be discovered.
On last week end I was given following idea, hope it will work:
Step 1
Collect all the DB SQL Logfile Objects and write computername (PrincipalName?) and Driveletter into a textfile, line by line. Shouldn't be a problem, PowerShell is your friend.
Step 2
Read the file from Step 1, build discovery data for each disk drive as object of class "Logical Disk (Server)",
and then discover the containment-relationships from those Logical Drive(Server) Objects to the InstanceGroup.
Perhaps I must do it for the OS-Version related Disks, because I need the target classes of the Logical Disk Freespace monitors. Some more work. "Risks": I donot know the discovery algorithm for the Logical Disk(Server) Objects, but a "deep
dive" into the MPs should help.
Thanks to all, who have read.
I will inform you about progress and success

How can I access my Excel and MS word docs now that I down loaded Lion?
Isn't it the kind of question which would have been better asked before switching to Lion ?
Of course it would be more logical to ask in a M…oSoft dedicated forum.
In case you forgot it, here you are in a forum dedicated to an Apple product named Numbers

How can I access iPhone 5C phone history
How can I access iPhone 5C phoen history?
Thanks for your response. I thought that with my iPhone 4 I was able to go pretty far back to retrieve phone numbers of calls received and placed. With the iPhone 5, I see that I am only able to go back as far as a week or so, then there are only saved FaceTime call contact numbers prior to that. Is there anyway to access those old numbers? It is just from last week.

How can I access the Help preferences?
How can I access the Help preferences? I hate the way the Help window stays in front of every other window, so I really need to change it's behaviour.
Mary,
To see the reports button, your workflow user record must be at least Process Administrator (use the admin module to see an individual person's properties, in the Privileges tab I think..)
The backend stores information suchs as where and when a workitem was processed, but it won't contain the information that was populated on the forms, unless you make the fields you need to searchable fields on the process map. Beware, this can add to the size of the database quickly.
All of the available tables are documented in the pdf files that are distributed with the product.
Good luck,

How can I access my iCloud account on the web from my phone
how can I access my iCloud account on the web from my phone
iPhone 5 iOS 8.3
I have iCloud turned on, location services on, find my phone works but when I try to access iCloud via Safari on the phone it takes me to a page Apple.com,
iCloud then three options
set up iCloud on my phone (i have)
Install Find my phone, it is installed and it works from my MBP
or install find my friends, I don't need that I have no friends.
my calendars and contacts and bookmarks and all are all sync'd and working on the phone, but i thought if I typed in iCloud.com on the phone in Safari I would go to my iCloud web page that looks like this on my Mac.
Is that NOT how iCloud should/would look on my phone via Safari?
This is maybe a dumb question after 3+ year of iPhone'ing
thank you for clarifying or helping me to understand
jojoguitar_mmn_usaI've been playing with a Galaxy here at work and here's what I've found so far - please feel free to jump in and suggest alternative methods to configure or access the various icloud components.
So the original Q: Can you access your icloud account on Android?
Not entirely: the website can't be used from an android browser (not properly - even with Dolphin HD and posing as different browsers it won't load correctly. So Find my iphone is out, so is the address book or looking at your e-mail or calendar just in a browser window
I was able to setup my e-mail using the IMAP settings published here:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864
Be sure to setup the account manually - and note if you have trouble using SSL try TLS (that worked for me)
Address book is a no go so you'll have to use iTunes to sync all your contacts over to Gmail - if you still have an iPad it means managing contacts in two places though . Same goes for your calendar - transfer it to Gmail and forget about iCloud's calendar. Nice instructions here: http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-20064060-285/how-to-switch-from-iphone-to-an droid/
iWork is an Apple proprietary bit so don't expect much there.
So in my case, if I'm really going to make the switch to a Galaxy from my iPhone it really means I'm going to have to switch to using google as the backend. The timing to swap over to a galaxy/android phone is not the greatest - given that I'd have to give up my Apple addiction (syncing photos and itunes and losing access to my device tracking). Plus I still have an iPad and a mac and like living in the Apple ecosystem. I think I'll wait and see what the new iPhone looks like before I commit -
I have to install Photoshop CS4 extended on a new computer from a disk because my old computer had a hard drive crash. There is no serial number on the back of the case. How can I obtain a usable serial number?
Find your serial number quickly
You can activate software without following up and registering it... at least that was the case in the past. The serial number is normally located on the disc case or a box inside the main box. If you did not purchase the disc from Adobe then it is possible you would have dealt with a redemption code, in which case it would have been up to you to keep a record of the serial number, especially if you did not follow up and register the software.
