How can I allow a customer to upload an image to be stuck onto a mug or t-shirt and then view what it would look like on that mug or t-shirt?

In the absence of drivers, a rather nasty way to achieve this would be to ensure that your software always occupies the same portion of the screen such that you know the position of the 'sample' button. You could then simulate a mouse click at those coordinates when you require a sample to be taken.
This would not be a robust solution as a user could move or minimise the window, or other windows could also find their way into the critical position and cause the application to work incorrectly or cause unexpected things to happen.
However, if you just need a short term work around this method might be acceptable, just be aware of the risks if you try it.
Searching for simulate mouse clicks and having a play is the way forward.

I'm new to lifecycle so I need some help. I figured out how to create the form I wanted but there is one thing I am stuck on and I know someone knows how to do this. It's probably so easy but I am stuck. If you go to the form I created you will see three drop down menus. If you just make a selection you will see the total show up in the "total package cost" box. I want to be able to manually enter a "discount" and then have that subtracted from the total. The script for the "Total Package Cost" is this.rawValue = NumericField1.rawValue+NumericField2.rawValue+NumericField3.rawValue. The "Discount" box is NumericField5. What should I do allow me to enter a number in the discount field and have it automatically subtract from the total field? I hope that's no too confusing. How can I place a custom table over an image?

I have a graphic embedded in the Master Page at the start of every chapter like this.
I created a borderless Custom Table without the data that I want to place over the image so it looks like the text is typed on the notebook paper. I apparently can't add this to the Master Page, but I can't seem to figure out how to do this on the Body Page either. The table is the same as in my previous question but included here again for reference. While the borders are evident here, I will turn them off when I get this placed. The merged cells are for graphics that will change every Lesson. Appreciating this forum as always. Someday I hope I have enough knowledge to help other people here...

You need to have a text frame over the area that you want your table to appear. On the Master Page, use the graphics tools to draw the text frame (Body not Background type) where you need it. Then on the Body pages insert the table. You may need to play with the positioning of the graphic on the Master Page and perhaps use the Format > Page Layout > Line Layout > Baseline Synchronization option as well as the Table Row Height properties to get things to properly align.

Specific to Flash Professional CS5. With its export options greatly reduced, there seems to be no way to make Flash graphics accessible by other programs. Is there any workaround?
Currently, Flash can output two kinds of vector images: SWF and FXG, neither of which seem to be importable by most applications, including Fireworks and Illustrator (which write to FXG but not read from it), and Catalyst doesn't seem to write to anything other than what Builder uses. In other words, I know no way to export Flash files to vector formats (besides using Flash CS4).

Unfortunately, this is a problem that is driven by the DRM Dictatorship. Despite the proliferation of mobile devices and the fact that there are many of us who do a lot of international travel, content providers don't want you to have access to their products outside of your homeland. The Balkanized mentality of the DRM Dictatorship is way out of touch with the modern world.
At least Apple, to its credit, allows you to use your accounts outside of your homeland as long as you have the proper credentials for them. Most other services use the more Draconian geolocation filtering which does require you to be physically present in your homeland. For the most part, you are not allowed to leave home if you want access to your favorite entertainment!

How can I allow a user (client) to choose a local image file (on his hard drive) and modify it using an applet from his browser ? I am trying to develop a web page that enables the user to choose an Image file, manipulate the image using a java applet, and display the results.
Using Java�s �JFileChooser� does not work when called from a browser, probably due to security privileges issues. On the other hand, I can choose and upload any file using a JavaScript form:

Once you have a customer (eg. 100002) in one sales area (eg. 0010/10/10), you open XD01 tcode, enter the same customer number (100002) in customer field and enter sales area (say u want to create in 0020/10/10) in which you want to create the same customer. Now in Reference section, enter the customer number (100002) and sales area in which already the customer exists (0010/10/10). When you press enter, it allows you to modify the sales area data for the customer for new sales area.
then save it.

I have one album where the first track was uploaded, and the other eleven tracks are all tagged as "Duplicates." These tracks were not uploaded to the iCloud. How can I force iTunes Match to upload these eleven tracks erroneously tagged as Duplicates?

I'm adding my 2¢ because I just "discovered" iTunes Match yesterday and decided to subscribe thinking there was no downside (doh!).
Well, firstly, there's the enormous downside of Apple's structure not being able to keep up with (what they should have known would be) enormous interest... my iTunes has been matching for >20-hours and has yet to reach half-way up my library. BTW: I thought I read the iTunes Match info fairly thoroughly prior to subscribing and did not see anything about it being for songs vrs full library.
And secondly, and even more important to me, is that Apple's method of determining duplicate songs is not robust enough, especially for classical music and audio books (e.g., LoTR). I have >12000 "songs" in my library, and Match has determined a boatload are duplicates. They are not of course and even if Apple's duplicate-determining algorithm just looked at disc & track numbers it would "know" that. Anyway, there's a fairly good chance I will not have one complete album upload/match out of >500 albums. That's nae Scottish, in anybody's book.
Gotta say, using Garage Band to individually alter >2000 "songs" on the off-chance that may assist Apple's duplicate algorithm to be correct is not gonna happen. If, after the matching/uploading is complete, I still have >even 100-not-duplicate-songs listed as duplicates, I'm getting my $29.95 subscription back.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
If you want others to be able to see the pics, but not add to, change or alter your library, then enable Sharing in your iPhoto (Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and use Fast User Switching to open the other account(s). In the other account(s), enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. Your Library will appear in their source pane.
Remember iPhoto must be running in both accounts for this to work.

I cannot begin to express my level of frustration. I have been trying to use the composition widget light box display for some time now. I drag the widget to my document. The default widget has three small trigger boxes and a large area made up of a forward and backward button, a background, a text box and a frame for your image.
My steps have been …
I click on the little trigger box.
I click on the frame that holds the main image.
I go to the fill menu and browse my computer for my image and then click OK.
IT shows up on my screen. Yay
I attempt to continue using the next two trigger boxes provided in the widget.
After that, I add more by clicking on the little plus sign.
This is where all heck breaks loose.
Every single time I attempt to add thumbnails, something messes up. When I go to preview, either not all of my main images show up, or it starts with the wrong one, or some are missing. I have looked and looked for help on this and the only thing I can find is how easy it is to create a great portfolio lightbox display. But as we know, that only works when your thumbnails are the same image as the images in your lightbox. If you want something different, you have to use the composition wizard. I am finding it extremely difficult and confusing to customize.
Is there an exact sequence you need to use to add images to the slideshow? I am my wits end.

It must be summer vacation time. Questions are not being answered and this is the third question that I've had to find out the answer for myself.
The solution I found (from a post by hemanth kumar r https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1479495) was to make variables and functions properties of AdobeEdge.
So in the external .js document a variable is declared and given a value:
AdobeEdge.myVariableName = "The variable value";
To use it in a symbol/element:
alert(AdobeEdge.myVariableName);
And a function is declared:
AdobeEdge.myFunctionName(param){...function code...} //param optional
To call these in a symbol/element:
AdobeEdge.myFunctionName(param);
