i would like to add a workflow in my web portal maked with jdeveloper webcenter and i don't know how can i do it.
has jdeveloper a workflow application? i need a portlet? i have to create it? i must use oracle workflow builder?
Somebody knows some tutorial on the web to start step by step in this?

Why not using Alert management if you are in SRM 5.0 :
Supplier Relationship Management -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Event and Event Schema for Alert Management ->....
You should have a look here, you may be able to define event for document status.

Do you want to create a chat like application like WhatsApp, where the server pushes messages without an active connection? i have a simple question or maybe it's not so simple.
I am completly new to SAP Netweaver 2004s Portal. At the moment i'm trying to understand the struture of the whole thing. I already know how to create roles, worksets and pages and i know how to combine the different elements so a user can acces them.
And now i want to create a simple portal page that shows text and images. Is it possible to create such a simple page with the portal content studio? What iView do i have to use?
(I just want to create a start page with a welcome text on it.)

Considering that you would any ways go ahead with complex development from this simple start page I recommend create a Web dynpro Iview for your start page (include the Iview in your page).
For putting the contents use Netweaver Developer studio to build a simple start page application and put your static text on that Iview.

I am trying to create a simple insert or update trigger to timestamp an xml document when I load it into my XML DB repository but I always get an error trying to compile the trigger.
"ORA-25003: cannot change NEW values for this column type in trigger"

How can I create a simple app that will automatically add folder script

Hi! I hope I can get a little help on this. I tried searching online and haven't found anything.
Is there away I can make a simple "application" that will automatically add a folder script to a users folder?
Basically I need a folder script to run but I don't want to explaint o a user how they'd have to do it in automator.
I'd like to be able to create an application they double click. The app tells them to select a folder then automatically runs the script.
Does anyone have any ideas of how'd I'd do this?

Oh I get it. Yeah I read you post on one of the other pages and didn't quite understand, but not that you say that your're makeing this for another user, it makes sence.
So what you want to do is have the computer automatically install a script on a customer's computer, right?
(I'm using "custumer" loosly; i.e. just another user)
If that's what you'd like to do, then you'll probably have to write an actual program in Xcode, since I imagine automiticlly installing folder action scrips will be highly discuraged by Apple because it would cause a huge security hole in the OS. (You wouldn't want some random person sending you a folder action installer disgused as a regular app LOL.)
But I will actually suggest the following, which I think will work great for your users:
Make a regular Automator app, and drag it to your Dock. Now, have the user click and drag a bunch of photos to the application icon, and it will run the app automatically on those files.
You could try a work flow like this:
ask the user Are you sure?
convert pictures
save pictures to ConvertedPics folder
pop up a confirmation message saying that everything was resized

So my question is that how can i create Data Source i have goggling and find two different way to do this.
1. write following line of code on apache server conf/Context.xml file.

How can I create a video with effects (sepia, B&W, Negative, oval or any other shape borders) using my ipad? I would Like to keep a higher res and also be able to shrink it down to email or send in a MMS. Or should I just upload it to my PC and mess with it there? Thats the Problem . . . how many apps do I have to try until I find the one I want? I noticed a few will render the video thus losing its original size. When I went to edit it more in iMovie the video was smaller--not good. And what software do you suggest, Templeton, for the PC? I love the apps because they are easy. I dont have hours to mess around on a software to figure out if its something I want. Im looking for simplicity. Maybe Ill get more into it later. I just want to record simple video of my playing the guitar for self analysis and create a short video for family and friends.

Let me give u a brief.
There is an application that I use, say "XYZ".Every time I perform an action on "XYZ" a log gets created in the java console. One such thing in the log I want to search is "ANI" and the program/script shud return the value adjacent to it.

Now my understanding is that whenever java logs in the console it appends at the top, i.e, first record stays on top of the log sheet.
Now this script/program shud look up the top-most line which reads ANI and return the corresponding value which in the abv ex. was "9782755100"
I wud also want a small button when clicked wud copy the "9782755100" to the clip board

Sorry Sachin, I mean that I created a simple form on the page from the widget and started adding fields to it. The more fields I add the slower the delay becomes in creating a new field. Even when I try to select and drag or move an item, there's a huge delay and sometimes the program feezes, loose what i've done and have ot restart.
I'm doing an enployment form that has more than 20 fields, at least, and I need to be able to build the fields in separate categories, like Education, Past Employment, etc... quickly without delay issues.
I can probably send you a snap shot of what I'm talking about if I cna post it or attach it here..?
