  • How can I set the data binding between Web Dynpro & Database table

    Dear friend,
    I am a beginner of Web Dynpro. I want to develop my simple project like these:
    1. Create my own database table via Dictionary Project such as TAB_USER and have 3 fields: USER_ID, USER_NAME, USER_POSITION and I have already deployed & archived it.
    2. Create my own Web Dynpro Project, and create the input fields as User ID, User name, User position and icon 'Save' on the selection screen and I have deployed it already.
    For the process, I want to input data at the screen and save the data in the table, please give me the guide line like these:
    1. How can I set the data binding between Web Dynpro and Database table ?
    2.  Are there any nescessary steps that I will concern for this case?
    Sorry if my question is simple, I had try  to find solution myself, but it not found
    Thanks in advances,
    SeMs

    Hi,
    You can write your own connection class for establishing the connection with DB.
    Ex:
    public class  ConnectionClass {
    static Connection con = null;
    public static Connection getConnection() {
    try{
    Context ctx = new InitialContext();
    DataSource ds = (DataSource) ctx.lookup("jdbc/TSPAGE");
    con = ds.getConnection();
    return con;
    }catch(Exception e){
    return null;
    You can place the above class file in src folder and you can use this class in webdynpro.
    You can have another UserInfo class for reading and writing the data into the DB .

    Hi All,
    How can we do the data migration between Oracle Applications and SAP R/3 system.What are all the possible ways to move bulk data from Oracle Apps to SAP r/3 system.
    Provide any 3rd party tools which supports data migration and also pls rpovide the SAP's own data migration tools with supports the above feature.
    Awaiting for best possible solution.
    Thanks in advance.

    the 3rd party tool is ETL , you can use ETL tool and the prepare the load files then you can use LSMW method to upload the data to SAP.

  • How can I encrypt/decrypt data in Forms using a specified Package?

    Hi All,
    I have searched in the Internet for ecnrypting/decrypting data in Forms.
    That is when I want to query the data outside the Form Application it will be encypted, otherwise if I want to query it in the form application it will be dycrypted
    I found this package:
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE Encrypt_pkg AS
    FUNCTION encrypt (p_text IN VARCHAR2) RETURN RAW;
    FUNCTION decrypt (p_raw IN RAW) RETURN VARCHAR2;
    END Encrypt_pkg;
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE BODY Encrypt_pkg AS
    -- All VARCHAR2 inputs are padded to multiples of 8 charaters,
    -- with the encryption key also being a multiple of 8 charaters.
    -- The encryption key and padding characters can be altered to suit.
    g_key RAW(32767) := UTL_RAW.cast_to_raw('12345678');
    g_pad_chr VARCHAR2(1) := '';
    PROCEDURE padstring (p_text IN OUT VARCHAR2);
    FUNCTION encrypt (p_text IN VARCHAR2) RETURN RAW IS
    l_text VARCHAR2(32767) := p_text;
    l_encrypted RAW(32767);
    BEGIN
    padstring(l_text);
    DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT.desencrypt(input => UTL_RAW.cast_to_raw(l_text),
    key => g_key,
    encrypted_data => l_encrypted);
    RETURN l_encrypted;
    END;
    FUNCTION decrypt (p_raw IN RAW) RETURN VARCHAR2 IS
    l_decrypted VARCHAR2(32767);
    BEGIN
    DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT.desdecrypt(input => p_raw,
    key => g_key,
    decrypted_data => l_decrypted);
    RETURN RTrim(UTL_RAW.cast_to_varchar2(l_decrypted), g_pad_chr);
    END;
    PROCEDURE padstring (p_text IN OUT VARCHAR2) IS
    l_units NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    IF LENGTH(p_text) MOD 8 > 0 THEN
    l_units := TRUNC(LENGTH(p_text)/8) + 1;
    p_text := RPAD(p_text, l_units * 8, g_pad_chr);
    END IF;
    END;
    END Encrypt_pkg;
    ** Now How can I use this package to encrypt/decrypt data in the form as I said Plz???

    <p>Read this article and go to chapter 2.3.2.</p>Inserts, Update and Delete orders are managed by a stored procedure. In the sample dialog, the Select is handled by the emp_pkg.emp_query() stored function:

         INSERT INTO emp (empno, ename, job, sal, comm)
         VALUES(crypt(t(i).empno), crypt(t(i).ename), crypt(t(i).job), crypt(t(i).sal, t(i).comm));
         END LOOP ;
      END emp_insert2;Idem for the Update procedure.

  • How can I optimally stream data to disk at 5 MS/s on 4 channels using a PCI-6110?

    I am using a PCI-6110 to acquire data streaming from a camera. Data arrives on all four analog input channels at 5 MHz. An A2D clock is attached to PFI8, also originating from the camera and operating at 5 MHz. Finally, there is a Valid-data signal from the camera that signals when the data stream coming in on the four analog channels is actual data (each Validate pulse is about 132 samples wide). This is attached to PFI0. Ideally, I would like to have a program that captures data at the full rate and is correctly synchronized with the Valid-data line. It should also be able to stream to disk for several seconds at least before pausing for the buffer.
    Though I'm something of an inexper
    ienced programmer, I have attempted programs both in LabView and C (using DAQmx) to resolve this, but I have experienced much slower behavior than I'd like. In LabView, this seems to be the result of slow streaming to disk, such that I have to pause and reset the task every frame (132x512 samples per channel). Using DAQmx in C, I have found it necessary to restart the task after every line (132 samples per channel) in order to correctly trigger from the Validata pulse. Both are far from optimal. I would appreciate any advice that those of you with more experience reading at very high rates from this card may have to offer.
    Thanks,
    Steven Israel
    Duke University

    I'm not sure if I fully understand your application, but maybe some of these hints will help.
    First your streaming to disk rate is going to vary widely depending on your system. Sometimes using a faster processor helps, but most of the time using a faster hard drive will give you the best performance increase.
    Second, writing less data will often have a dramatic impact in streaming to disk applications. If you're reading back scaled data, I would strongly recommend switching to unscaled or raw reads and storing off the scaling constants so you can scale the data off line. This could reduce the required streaming to disk bandwidth by a factor of 4 alone.
    Third, since the 6110 is a 12 bit device, you can try compressing two 12 bit samples into one 24 b
    it piece of data. This will allow you to store in three bytes what used to take four.
    Last, you might consider using your signal on PFI0 as a pause trigger. Depending on the frequency of the pulses on your Valid-data signal, this could significantly reduce the required bandwidth of both the PCI bus and your hard drive. However, since the 6110 uses pipelined ADCs, you need to be careful if the time between valid data pulses is greater than one millisecond. This would violate the minimum sampling frequency of the board and the points in the pipeline that are returned after unpausing (3 in this case) might not be digitized at the full accuracy specification for the device. Because of the pipelining, you also need to be careful how you correlate the data. The first time you unpause for the Valid-data pulse, the first three points will be garbage points. The second and subsequent times you unpause, the first three points are really the last three points from the previous Valid-dat
    a pulse. See the Device Considerations->Timing chapter in the NI-DAQmx Help file for more information on timing considerations with pipelined ADCs.
    I hope this information helps. Good luck!

  • My computer that my iphone 4 is backed up on crashed... I bought a new computer as well as the iphone 5. How can transfer the my data/pics/notes/songs etc to my new phone?

    My computer that my iphone 4 is backed up on crashed... I bought a new computer as well as the iphone 5. How can transfer the my data/pics/notes/songs etc to my new phone?

    Use the backup you have of the old computer and restore that data to the new computer. Also and backups that you have made of your iTunes library (it has a method to back it up as well) can be copied back over to the new computer. If you attempt to sync the phone to the new computer without the data, it will delete that data from the phone. The iPhone is not designed as a storage/backup device and as such will not sync music from itself to a new computer.
    If by chance you had not been backing up the computer and/or iTunes, you can google for some third party software, such as Touchcopy that will do some of what you are asking.

  • How can i get the data from database & add them as a link

    Hi,
    how can i get a data from a database(DB2) and that data will be having a file so i should make them as a link.i tried it in jsp .

    Class.forName("COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.net.DB2Driver");

    conn = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:db2:spintran");
    Statement stmt = conn.createStatement();
    stmt.executeQuery("set current schema tut");
    ResultSet rs = stmt.executeQuery("select * from tutorial");
    %>
    Type Of the Category : &nbsp&nbsp&nbsp
    <%
         while (rs.next())
         String desc = rs.getString(1);
         out.println(desc);
    %>
         <A HREF = "<%=desc%>"><%=desc%> </A>
         <%
         %>
    but it is not working.how can i link.
    thank you.

    what is desc? is it the file name ? whats the data type of desc in db? INFILE?
    if desc is just the name of the file, then make sure that such a file exists in the proper folder.only then the link works..
    that is, if desc is 'a.jpg' then a.jpg should be existing in the same folder as your html is.

    getTime returns millsecond value of date object and the difference divided by no of milliseconds in a day should fetch you the difference in terms of days.This doesn't respect the DST. Use java.util.Calendar.

  • How do I encrypt a data file so that only I can retrieve the info?

    How do I encrypt a data file so that it cannot be read without the proper authority?
    I have an application where the customer should not have access to the data I need to record for troubleshooting purposes.  (there are industrial secrets I wish to protect)  My plan is to record a datalog (currently I am producing a tab-delimited spreadsheet format) whenever the device is running and hide the files where they will probably not be found.  But some sort of encryption or at least password protection would be better.
    I've never tried to do this before, but thought it would be fairly easy.  Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.
    Thanks
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Well, you could look into something like DES, Triple DES, AES, etc.  There are libries floating around for these written in LabVIEW.  I'm not sure about the cost though.
    If you want a really simple way to protect your data, just invert all or some of the bits in each byte of your file.  It is super simple and turns a nice ASCII text file into noise when read from a text file.
    There are only two ways to tell somebody thanks: Kudos and Marked Solutions

  • HT1338 WHAT IS 802.1 MEANING? HOW CAN I CHOOSE ABOUT OPTION INSIDE BETWEEN 802.1WEP OR WPA ENTERPRISE? WHAT'S DIFFERENT? T

    WHAT IS 802.1 MEANING? HOW CAN I CHOOSE ABOUT OPTION INSIDE BETWEEN 802.1WEP OR WPA ENTERPRISE? WHAT'S DIFFERENT?

    802.11 refers to a document that specifies how wireless networking works. It goes into detail about the radio signals, frequencies, signal strengths, encoding of data, etc. From a practical standpoint, the typical person really only care about a couple of things: speed and encryption.
    802.11b - describes networks that transmit 11 mbps using a 2.4 GHz radio frequency
    802.11g - describes networks that transmit 54 mbps using a 2.4 GHz radio frequency
    802.11n - describes networks that transmit up to 600 mbps using 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies
    n is faster than g which is faster than b. The speed of a network connection is limited to the slowest part (so, if you have an 'n' router, but your laptop only supports 'g', you get the 'g' speed).
    WEP, WPA, and WPA2 refer to data encryption schemes specified in parts of the 802.11 document. With Wi-Fi, you are broadcasting your network activity over a radio, and it's pretty obvious that anyone could eavesdrop on the transmission. By using cryptography, you can scramble the data being passed back and forth so that the sender and receiver still understand the messages sent, but an eavesdropper cannot.
    WEP is a very simple encryption scheme, one that the methods to decrypt the data is pretty straight-forward. It's not effective against someone that wants to intentionally eavesdrop on your activities (or access your computer) because they can use software to determine the password simply enough.
    WPA and WPA2 are improvements over WEP that make cracking the password even more difficult (WPA2 being better than WPA).
    The "enterprise" version of WPA2 refers to a variation on WPA2 that requires special security servers, security certificates, and other complicated systems most likely only applicable to a corporate or military environment. It's impractical for a home or small office.
    To connect to a wireless network, you generally don't have to worry about the encryption used since the computer will receive a notice from the wireless network about how it is setup and use the appropriate method. It's probably good for you to pay attention whether the network you are connecting to is secure or not.
    If you are setting up a network at home using a cable modem or broadband router, or even just a Wi-Fi access point, you want to set it up to use WPA2 unless you have some very old computers that only support WPA. You should avoid using WEP.

  • How can I load my data faster?  Is there a SQL solution instead of PL/SQL?

    11.2.0.2
    Solaris 10 sparc
    I need to backfill invoices from a customer. The raw data has 3.1 million records. I have used pl/sql to load these invoices into our system (dev), however, our issue is the amount of time it's taking to run the load - effectively running at approx 4 hours. (Raw data has been loaded into a staging table)
    My research keeps coming back to one concept: sql is faster than pl/sql. Where I'm stuck is the need to programmatically load the data. The invoice table has a sequence on it (primary key = invoice_id)...the invoice_header and invoice_address tables use the invoice_id as a foreign key. So my script takes advantage of knowing the primary key and uses that on the subsequent inserts to the subordinate invoice_header and invoice_address tables, respectively.
    My script is below. What I'm asking is if there are other ideas on the quickest way to load this data...what am I not considering? I have to load the data in dev, qa, then production so the sequences and such change between the environments. I've dummied down the code to protect the customer; syntax and correctness of the code posted here (on the forum) is moot...it's only posted to give the framework for what I currently have.
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated; how can I load the data faster knowing that I need to know sequence values for inserts into other tables?

    Hello
    You could use insert all in your case and make use of sequence.NEXTVAL and sequence.CURRVAL like so (excuse any typos - I can't test without table definitions). I've done the first 2 tables, so it's just a matter of adding the rest in...
    INSERT ALL
         INTO      invoice nologging
                    VALUES   (     SEQ_INVOICE_ID.NEXTVAL,
                                   BILL_DATE,
                                    my_guid,
                                    '111111',
                                    'NONE',
                                    CAST(BILL_DATE AS TIMESTAMP),
                                    CAST(UPDT_DT AS TIMESTAMP),
                                    'READ',
                                    'PAPER',
                                    payer_customer,
                                    parsed_francises,

    1. Don't commit in a loop - you only add to the run time and load on the box ultimately reducing scalability and removing transactional integrity. Commit once at the end of the job.
    2. Make sure you specify the list of columns you are inserting into as well as the values or columns you are selecting. This is good practice as it protects your code from compilation issues in the event of new columns being added to tables. Also it makes it very clear what you are inserting where.
    3. If you use WHEN OTHERS THEN... to log something, make sure you either rollback or raise the exception. What you have done in your code is say - I don't care what the problem is, just commit whatever has been done. This is not good practice.
