How can i ensure my program works?

Hi,
i wrote a simple program and i used th apdu tool with jcwde. My question is, whith this small program i can see it works (i guess), but i want to write another a litle bit more complex, which will add a popup menu with several options. How can i visualize it in text mode?
Is There any emulator?
Please help me!

This is what i want to do:
I Want to write an application that sets a menu in to the Mobile, and i want to be able to select my option from the menu and then the program must send an sms depending on the option chosen. As you realize its very dificult to write such app and test it in HEX mode, i want to be able to this the options on the screen, to select the option and even to read data from the keyboard.
Can you help me!?
Other thing:
i'm having some problems doing a litle examples writing something to the Display.
Do i have to write my own app file to run with JCWDE? how?
And the scr file should i use the scriptgen? I find out that i must edit scr file and write powerup;
the installer and powerdown;
how the installer should be if i want him to do nothing(no parametes?), until an option is made?

How can i get hotmail to work in mail?

So in hotmail it finally lets me select if I use POP to download Hotmail messages to another program, that program could make it so I can't read my messages on Hotmail. (For example, this might happen if you use Mac Mail or Mozilla Thunderbird).
I have the "Do what my other program says-if it says to delete messages, then delete them." box selected.
however my mail on my it mac says

How can I ensure a function is called only once in a query?

I have a function (in a package) that returns the start date and end date to be used by my query. The query was taking bind variables but when I updated it to use the function calls it slowed down a lot.
I tried creating an inline view that selects the start and end date and joins with the other table but this does not help. I thought the inline view would only be run once but this is not the case. I have my function print out a value from a sequence and i see that it is called thousands of times.
Why would the procedure call be so much slower?
How can I ensure that the function is only called once in the query?
This is what I currently have:

They get the begining and ending dates to be used by the query.
My application uses the Oracle Portal. Each user can select their date range and it is stored as a user preference. The portal API provides funcitons for retrieving the preferences and I have encapsulated it in my procedure so the developers do not need knowledge of the portal. If they just restrict their queries to the dates returned by this function they will get the needed data.
Our work around as been to pass these date variables around as bind variables.

for example: say i write a paragraph. then, in a weird some sort of way an involuntary gap suddenly appears between different letters of random words(i did not recognize any pattern to the gap appearing) throughout the entire paragraph. once i've double clicked on that paragraph, and made a minor change, lets say tapped a 'space' key, and then clicked ctrl+z to undo, it has aligned(or fixed) the entire paragraph and made it look ok again. i've tried numerous ways to undo the entire thing, but cannot find the reason. i've been working for a few years and there's no reason why this thing all of a sudden should happen right now.
if anyone has stumbled on something like that and can advise, i would welcome it.

If you are getting the connect to iTunes screen then it's too late to take a new backup and/or copy anything off it. Prior to starting the update did you take a backup, either to the cloud and/or to your computer's iTunes ? If not then have you recently taken a backup that might have your photos and apps content/settings in it ?
As long as the apps are still in your country's store then you should be able to redownload them via the Purchased tab in the App Store app (and the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes), and if the apps store their content on a server/cloud service then you might be able to get their content back from that - if they store their content on the device then you will need to have a backup.
For our photos you could try doing a search for programs that claim to be able to recover content from a device - I haven't used any so I can't suggest one.

Hi,
If you would like to move your source models, target models and project contents from Work repository 1 to another work repository.
I.e. Dev. server to Prod Server.
1. Firstly, replicate the master repository connections i.e. with same naming conventions manually
2. Go to Dev. Server work repository -> File Tab -> Click on Export work repository (save it in a folder)
3. After exporting, you can view the xml files in the folders.
4. Now, Open the Prod. server and make sure you already replicated mas. rep. details.
5. Now, right click on model and import source model in synonym mode insert_update (select source model from the folder where your xml file located)
6. Similarily, import again target then Project.
Now, check. It should work.
